yes, it is very possible. I only studied for about 5 days and managed to get an overall band of 7.0 and the least I got across each section was 6.0. So 1 month is a lot of time to prepare.

Download IELTS British council app from the app store. And also download IELTS Mock test app from the app store.

You should go on youtube and search for IELTS Liz. She's very good.

Thanks bro

I studied for 2weeks. (4days of serious studies whilst working) and had more than 7.0 in three sections of the exam

I didn't use any hardcopy or attend any tutorials. I even only got serious with it after getting a week ban from commenting in the travel section by justwise.

The ďay of the final exam was the day my ban expired

Thanks for the motivation, will try my best..
Did you have any soft copy then?

To those who have written their exams, is it possible to study for a month and have like 7.0 in all sections?
And please if anyone has hard copy of IELTS study materials and stays in Abuja or close by, I would be glad to come and get them from you.
thanks.

1. No, as a Nigerian you are not recognized as a native speaker(UK, US, Australia), so your certificates from Nigeria won't help you, unless you studied English.

2. Generally that's what is required to get a stable English teaching job at most institutions- language schools and conventional schools. Some language schools do accept teachers without language certificates though, but you may run into problems such as sudden lay offs and late salary payment- you may be owed for months. Most established language schools usually require the language teaching certificate.

3. How easy? I can only speak about Ankara. It's neither easy nor hard. You may need to know the right people, especially Africans that are into teaching in one form or another. Istanbul is larger, so you would expect a higher demand for teachers, so perhaps you stand a better chance getting an English teaching job there without a language certificate. Language school's pay per hour. 15-30 TL generally. Traditional school's pay monthly salaries in the range 3000-5000TL. If you have the Language certificate, you could be earning close to or over 5000TL. Note that I have not considered international schools.

4. It's a No for traditional schools. They usually require you to work full time. For language schools, you usually get paid per hour (accumulated over a month), and they have different schedules that suit different classes/levels of people, so you may only apply for periods compatible with your undergraduate program's timetable.

I leave you to convert the money to dollars yourself. Do not measure the actual worth of the mentioned amounts by converting to Naira. The cost of living here is probably more than double that of Nigeria, even in Ankara- I understand Istanbul is more expensive.

You need to also come with funds that can sustain you for months, as you may not get the job as soon as you arrive.

Note that my entire submission is mostly from the perspective of someone who resides in Ankara. This is also a general consideration, you may get lucky and beat the odds. But I strongly advise you not to count on luck.

Thank so much for your details replied, I really appreciate u bro. However please I would love to get in touch with u on WhatsApp,

3. How easy is it to get English teaching job in Turkey? and the pay like how much?
4. Can I be teaching and doing Bachelor degree program at the same time in Turkey? note that I will be sponsoring myself from d salary I get while teaching.

I just smile when I see how some people jump into irrational conclusion when they have no full understanding of a situation. I presumed he stayed in the slum part of Istabnul (probably Aksaray) and met people who ain’t doing well here I live in Turkey, teach English and obviously earn far beyond the amount you stated above.
Very few places in the world has free and boyant economy, everyone needs to struggle and think outside the box for survival.
Living in Turkey might be stressful and disappointing at the start but if you are persistent, diligent, hardworking and innovative your journey will be worth the stress and cost.

1 my waec is since 2011 but is very good,i have 3B, 1A, 4C, 1D .I Believe it's above 60perecent to get admission at kapledia university. I am 25years
2 do I photocopy my original certificate in coloured and notarize that and send. Because I can't send my original to them as it is quite risky.
I need advice from someone who has passed this stage to guide me with what to do.

you don't need to send your original certificate to them, just do photocopy and add WAEC scratch card to it, so that they can confirm it by themselves.

I have first degree since 24 years old, now am 30 going for second bachelor, so have being working bro but for msc fees can't afford . So how can I convince the consular for second basc

A

You can try and convince the consular by highlighting the reason why you want to go for second degree such as your passion for the new course, your future goal, what you will be able to achieve with the new course and so on. just my little knowledge I hope gurus in the house contribute their quota.

Good morning I write 4 different universities in luthania over the weekend and I got almost the same answer.

The question is that is 30 years and above have the chance of getting admission for bachelor and what are the chances in obtaining the the study permit.

The schools said admission may be granted but getting the visa for 30 years and above for bachelor may not be guaranteed not impossible, so I just decide to share it here so that people can make decisions or advise .

I want apply for another bsc because I obtain first degree when I was 24 now trying to do another bsc cos the msc tooo expensive for me, any advice, input I will welcome it.

Base on the information I was able to gathered because we are on the same situation. You needs to have a concrete plan or reason for getting another b.sc.

Because consulars are psychologist. You can't tell a consular you finished secondary school since this while and you v not done anything all dis while till you clocked 30, ....

Answer to First question is yes. Get a 1st or 2nd degree.

2nd question is tricky. Yes may be the answer but it's not "workable". It's kind of an unrealistic rule. I'm on level 12 and non commissioned but led or ordered by a commissioned officer in level 8 even after being on the job much earlier and longer and even receive a better pay.

please sir, do u knows or can u predict when civil defense will shortlist successful candidates for screening?

Wow! Been a loooooooong time. Good to see the ministry is moving. I’ve been observing for a while actually. Silently. Gurus on the house doing a good job. Had to jump in tonight though to help this brother. Bro. Go ahead and apply. You are safe. My friend left for Germany in 2014 and was in the same exact shoes your are. He was admitted to Msc mechanical engineering University Duisburg-Essen. The programmer is a 75-25 programme, hence he was required to present A2 before resuming 1st semester and B2 by third semester. He did not know a word of German. He applied to a language school and got the admission letter and applied for the visa. He got the Visa and left. He was to resume summer semester 2014. He had to resume winter semester 2014 because he used the time frame to get to A2. IN GERMANY! your letter clearly states you should come andlearn German in Germany just exactly like his did. Just look for a language school in your city, get the letter of acceptance (takes like 5 days) and apply for your visa. Nobody will deny you the opportunity of learning the language in Germany. The worst that can happen is you will resume 6 months later than stated.
Cheers!!!

wow......
thanks so much for d clarification boss.
actually am also heading to d same school as ur friend....if u can connect me with him to be able to get more information from him, I will be grateful

First are you going for B.Sc or Masters? When is your main course programme going to start?. For a summer programme, you should already have A2 now so that by the time you resume the language school you will be able to attain B1 . Else it will be risky applying for visa with it.

thanks for swift response
B. sc.... my course summer2019.
if I got u rite u mean is best for me to do my Germany language class here in Nigeria?

I have HND upper credit in architecture. if u get any school u can recommend dt av related course n taught in English fully. I would be grateful.... thanks

Since your course is 50/50, In addition to taking a German class, the most important thing is to get your German language certificate as a prove of your proficiency in German. You should be able to know from your course requirements the type and level of language certificate required. Without this certificate, embassy may not proceed your application.

Thanks...
D requirement is German B1 level.

My school says I can get a conditional admission letter with I will use for visa process n when I get to Germany I will do d Germany language class first before beginning with degree course.
So my fear is dt if conditional admission letter will not have a negative effect on my visa interview
