ravensckar: Mr. OP, first of all, I sympathize with you on what you're going through in your marriage. May the Almighty God take absolute control.
Secondly, what you mentioned that your wife is doing to you is typical of most Nigerian women. Withholding sex, not cooking or showing you attention. It's their oldest control mechanism to keep their man in check. It's just that your wife took hers too far. Funny enough, there's not a single man in Nigeria whose wife didn't use these tactics on him, the smart ones always turn the tables and the weak ones always succumb. Kindly spend more time with your dad (if he's still around) or some of your guys who are married let them give you the OT.
My advice for you is simple; find your wife's thumbscrew and use it to counter attack (turn the table). I'll tell you a short story, hopefully, you can learn a thing or two from it. My wife for example, when she started her own 'kolomental' back then. She won't cook, she won't clean the house, she won't give her best during sex. It's always one complain or another. The most painful part of it was the food, every other thing I can bear. I sat her down and spoke to her, nothing changed. I sometimes don't eat at home just to express my displeasure. She didn't bulge, rather, she mocked me and told me that I'll die of hunger. I reported to her parents, nothing changed.
Then, I spoke to my dad about it and he gave me the OT. I started chatting and receiving calls from one particular number. I began to spend quality time outside my house, she still didn't bulge. I took it to another level by subtly making her friends and family members become aware of my new lifestyle. Fear catch Hanty and she quickly surrendered. It was that moment I found her thumbscrew; my wife is very particular about other people's perception of her marriage. She hates to give others the impression that her marriage is going through something. She's that type of lady who doesn't want her friends, family or even the neighbours to ever think that her husband doesn't love her dearly. That was it, I found her thumbscrew and the dick measuring contest was won by me!
Since then, I now know what drives her, what motivates her and what unsettles her. For example, if I want her to knack very well. I'll stop over at her shop on my way back from work, buy her chop chop and we'll both be eating it outside. Gist with her outside, help her sell her stuff and be doing touch & do. You can be sure that night ehn, she will finish me on the bed. And in the same way, if she offends me and I want to treat her Bleep up, I'll just stop over at her shop with a frown on my face or attitude. Instantly, Hanty will start to dey beg.
In summary, every woman has a thumbscrew. Your job as a man is to figure out your wife's thumbscrew and use it to the fullest. If you do that, you'll change the dynamics. And in seduction, he who has the initiative has the power. You need to take that initiative!
PS- marriage, business, sports, & politics are ARTS. To succeed at it, one must learn the intricacies. One of the best advice here 🙌 3 Likes |

Every document you send with the application has to be notarized(CERTIFIED TRUE COPY) just to show that it is authentic especially since you are sending photocopies to them. You can do the notarization in Ikeja High Court or any court close to you. You will spend like 3k for all the documents
Attached is an example of fully notarized birth certificate & To whom it may concern letter written to show he had practical experience . Every application differs based on your experience thanks for these wonderful info you are dashing out here. I would like to ask if it won't be difficult for 30years old to get admission to vocational school and visa as against Bachelor Degree? |

mdeeokoye: I think just as in every field you can always learn and i don't think there is an age limit to it. Programming can be a self taught approach so i advice you learn a-lot by practicing before you even start your BSc here. You can get courses from Udemy or go for internships/bootcamps and the likes you will do fine. Data Engineering is also the real deal now there are lots of opportunities as well!
Thanks for your reply. |

mdeeokoye: So i will share my experience. I got in Oct 17th 2020, I happen to be a software engineer and i can say that there are lots of opportunities in Software engineering once you know the craft and got some good experience. I got in on a Saturday and started applying on Monday lol. I enrolled and uploaded my CV in Total Jobs and edited my CV and took out the locations from my work places (watched this from a video and felt it made some sense) but my last role as a Software Engineer in one of the Big fours and a dev project for a US firm i added the location because i felt it will stand out. I had a family friend that got me a GifGaff SIM the weekend i got in because i felt they will call. On Monday i received lots of calls and started interviews the next day, interestingly most of them went well, for those with software experience just study algorithms and data structures, although different firms have their own type of questions. One of the recruiters i spoke to that day said she has a role that just has two stages of interview and they are one of the big players in the Insurance sector in Uk and US, i saw the JD i loved it!, did the first interview, it was a Q&A with their Head of Engineering and some senior engineers, i was struggling to hear some of the questions but again they were not so difficult i did well and they scheduled the next day for the final phase which was a coding test to be submitted in two hours and i did it before the allocated time and went into a Pair Programming exercise and as God may have it also went well. We discussed salaries and they gave me an offer on Friday same week and i resumed 2nd December. I recently applied for NI so the HR said that would not be a problem as i should update it on the portal once its ready. About my experiences so far, its been an interesting one even though we are all working from home due to the lockdown and most developers are scattered around the country and it seems to be a work fr om home policy till june next year i think. Lastly i was specific about the firm because they are amongst the list of firms that can provide sponsorship and we spoke about its possibility next year. If you are a developer i think you will do fine in the UK! Cheers!!!
Congrats bro, would like to ask for your option and advice for someone who's 30+ in age going to start Bcs in computer science afresh for the purpose of being a software Engineer or Data analyst can the person cope considering the fact that he doesn't have any knowledge in computer or programming at all. thanks for your reply. |

143Idiro: If it's an agent that did your insurance for you, make sure you visit the insurance company to confirm its validity before submitting it to the embassy. Trust me insurance has cost some their visa.
Make sure your sponsor's "Confirmation Of Employment" ( google for samples if your don't understand) is Original and it bears 2020.( Not scanned copy)
Sponsorship letter should be original too with notary public ( not scanned copy)
Payslips sure be 500k upwards to be on a safer side( people has gotten visa with 300k tho)
If you are planning on self sponsorship, I'll advice you change your plan and look for sponsor because a couple friends that did what you're planning on doing got rejected ( don't ask why cause I don't know myself)
When you get an appointment, plan your journey well... If you are going buy road go two days ahead, if you're flight go one day ahead it's better to be too early than late.
And finally pray well and believe.
For those that have taken out time to contribute to this community I say a big thank you. thanks for your detail analyses. if I may ask do you think someone going for bachelor degree at 29/30years is a reg flag in terms of getting visa? |
Travel / Re: My Journey To Hanoi, Vietnam by Ijomobi(m): 8:50pm On Jul 25, 2020 |
WhyNa: If you ask me what the one thing I'm grateful I bought in Vietnam is, I'd say my motorbike. That guy has saved me and enabled me take jobs and keep jobs too. I don't even want to get started on the cost saving.
Two weeks ago, I sha had a terrible accident. My family doesn't even know. Lol.
The guy that caused the accident zoomed off. I landed hard on the floor after somersaulting of my bike. Naija pikin sha strong, female or male plus God's not dead and He has me in mind steady. I sustained just a little bruise.
The other Vietnamese woman sha had it bad. Her legs were hurt badly.
Long story short, people gathered, woman's husband came, they rushed her to hospital, my bike was damaged, plenty Vietnamese language everywhere, police came, one hour turned to three hours (11pm). I just said a silent prayer to God to speak for me
Finally, English speaker was sighted. They said I should pay for the hospital bill. I first asked them these questions
Where is the money? Where's the guy that caused the accident? I was lucky to not have been injured. If I was, would you be asking me to pay hospital bill? Who would have paid mine Finally, I no get job or money.
Then they said police wants to carry the bike as evidence.
I said sha kukuma take with you because I don't know where I am, how will I get home? Where will I sleep by this time?
They said bring your passport, I said I don't have it with me.
Finally, God did speak for me and they said I should say sorry and go!
Grace!
Honestly, It's been God.
Let me quickly share a testimony here.
All these while I was updating and answering mails, I was in a terrible shape emotional and mental wise.
My mum was lying critically ill in the hospital for 3 good months. Like we had lost her cos all her organ shut down. I'm talking liver, kidneys and heart. No jokes.
But again God said NO. Mercy said NO.
My mum is Hale and hearty now, back home receiving spa treatment and sending BBC on WhatsApp again
I'm a testimony of God's awesome goodness and it's evident in all areas of my life honestly.
Please take a moment to just say Thank you Jesus in your heart on behalf of my mum. Thanks
So sorry for your ordain sis, may God Almighty continues to protect you and your family. |

hakeembee: Hello house,
A lot of members of the forum had been sending me DM's, asking about the course i studied in Estonia which was WELLNESS AND SPA SERVICE DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT (Masters Degree) at University of Tartu.
First i will like to say a little about myself and my policy, I like treating people that are asking me about my course like my siblings, which means I will be a little hard on them but in a positive way though, lol. I am saying this because, as an alumni of the ISA, I should still advise people that want to study my course (You can check what ISA is all about via this link: http://isa.ut.ee/). If you deemed it necessary, you can also go to my direct link where i answered some questions about why i chose to study the course: http://isa.ut.ee/ambassadors/hakeem/
Now before you ask me further questions, I like you to visit some websites and read about the course in the following links:
https://estonia.dreamapply.com/en_GB/courses/course/19-ma-wellness-and-spa-service-design-and-management?search=7126478
https://www.pc.ut.ee/en/wellness-and-spa-management
We also did a couple of videos for the department on youtube while we were students: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW9eXqT005Fyc35BTV-A7KA
So after rigorously going through all these, you can now come back and ask specific questions, which you didn't find answers to on the links.
Have a nice day. Slm Mr. Hakeem, please help me answer these following questions. 1. is it possible for 29-30years old to get estonia visa for bachelor degree? 2. can I pay my tuition fees on arrival n in installmental in university of tartu? 3. can I use my statement of result n online print out to apply to uni. tartu since original certificate is not ready yet? thanks in advance brother. |
