sinola: That's the problem... He's so troublesome that he doesn't listen to anyone. Every meeting you have with him ends in a fight. None of us plan on renewing our rent due to his hostile and crooked behaviour. |

IbnBattuta1960: The guy is fraudulent. If it was about the money, he would have sorted the whole issue immediately I and another tenant paid him rent at same time as we both moved in a couple of days apart so he had more than enough money to sort out the bill. The guy doesn't care. None of us are renewing our rent as we're all leaving the compound when or even before our rent expires. The guy is like a wild animal. You can't reason with him. He's like a grade one tout literally no kidding. I never knew these kind of people existed until I met this guy. He was even bold to tell me he was building another house elsewhere as we were returning from the police station after the IPO in charge of the case I reported against him tried to sue for peace rather than escalate the matter. 1 Like |

Tokskob2008: He also did same thing in respect to water to a former tenant here I was told . They said the lady was paying her light and water bill when due but he was spending the money on himself. She got fed up one day after discovering what he was doing as they kept coming to disconnect the water and she had to start paying her water bill to some neighbors directly behind the house and then connect pipe to supply water into her room. It was horrible just hearing it. Just imagine the stress. 2 Likes |

lefulefu: My brother he is the landlord o. We don't have any issue with doing what you said but the guy is stark illetratre. Several attempts have been made in regard to what you suggested even last month that the PHCN official came around, he suggested same to him but the guy opposed them as usual and was just shouting. Truth is he doesn't want to spend a dime in rectifying the issue. He wants us to handle it all alone. The guy is fraudulent and crooked in nature. I am Igbo by tribe and the guy is also Igbo. Before now I didn't know why people so much dislike my tribe until I met this guy that was when I understood. I say this with great shame. There are other things he has done which contradicts the agreements we had before I moved in but I don't want to state them here to avoid the post being lengthy. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

lefulefu: The guy is just plain wicked and cruel. He doesn't listen to anyone. The only things he wishes is for us to use our money to sort out everything. Once he collects rents from unsuspecting prospective tenants he turns into a monster and every promise he made before they moved into his house becimes null and void. Someone from the same compound told me that no one has ever stayed up to a year in the compound before. We have been using our money to sort out the issue before but we're fed up. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Offpoint1: When he was invited by the Police, I asked for my balance and he said he doesn't have money to pay me except I move out and he gets someone to occupy the place and then gives me the balance but the issue right now is that I don't have money to pay for another place as my rent is remaining about 6-7 months to expire. 11 Likes 1 Share |

Hi all, I'm sorry I don't know the exact section to post this but hopefully the mods will help in moving it to the right section. Thanks. I'm gonna go straight to the point. I moved into this small house in Abuja due to pressure from the people I was staying with before now which required that I moved out quickly from there. After searching for a house to stay in within the shortest possible time, I finally settled for this one I'm staying in right now. I paid fully for the house in the presence of about three witnesses that is to say I am not owing a dime. As with every house, there are agreements binding the tenants and landlords and some of mine includes Paying of water and light bill. Now the issue is that whenever we pay our light bill, after about a week or two it gets disconnected due to the outstanding balance of about N50,000 which is small compared to what so many people are owing in Nigeria but still have their electricity intact and from what I heard he was the one who kept refusing to pay the bills whenever it was given to him by past tenants and hence it accumulated. The landlord promised fixing prepaid metre when I was moving in but until now he still hasn't and we the tenants have been suffering dearly for this. Everytime the PHCN guys come around, he fights and insults them and this I believe is the reason they have refused to be linient with us which is what he has been doing to us, the tenants too. At a point I even reported him to the police for subtly threatening me verbally and angrily and he was picked up for questioning and ever since then he started avoiding having any confrontation with me. Now the issue is that we haven't had electricity for over a month now in our compound while our surrounding neighbors constantly have light in their houses. This has made us suffer greatly. Note that we don't owe light bill. We pay whenever there's a new bill and like I stated before, just after a week or two, we get disconnected again and we go ahead to buy wires, get and pay the person to help reconnect it. This has been going on since I moved in here. I later heard that other tenants suffered same with him. I can't remember the last time I ironed my clothes in my house, charged my phone or even watched TV all because of this guy's cruelty. I had to resort to getting a generator to enable me get light and enjoy a bit of fan whenever I get back from work. My fridge has been lying dormant as I no longer use it to store cooked food. All these has cost me and is still costing me money. I now buy fuel almost every time, eat out because I can no longer cook and store the food in my fridge. He lives in the compound and doesn't care. My question is this: what can be done to get us out of this misery this heartless guy has put us into? Please we need all the help we can get. The other two tenants are already overwhelmed with the whole situation. Please we need all the help we can get. Location is Abuja. Thanks. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Empressabbie: I already gave you the perfect response, well suited/customized for you. Anything else is a waste of my time. Keep going on until you're taken unaware by the sudden appearance of Christ. Not every opportunity is encountered twice. The rapture is near. What I'm saying to you may not make sense now by it definitely will when the day comes. Just like no man can stop the day from breaking and the sun from rising so also none can stop this very event. You think you're smart because u go school abi? Hahahahahahahaa... No wahala. |

ThinkFreely: The only way to figure out that something is fake is if you have seen the original before. My post is telling people to go look for God themselves. It is only lazy and unserious Christians that end up being scammed. A man who has had series of encounters with God in his secret place and daily life CANNOT I repeat CANNOT be scammed. |

Empressabbie: Madam You're the foolish one here. As logical as you are why u never create anything? You need pillars to sustain a building yet the clouds over your head never fall on you since the day dem born you.U have small brain and big mouth to talk abi? U think you're wise so you want to use your "wisdom" to search out the one who formed you. Keep feeling fly until rapture hit you like play. Then we shall see how it all ends up. Here is a scripture for you and your fellow atheists: THE FOOL SAYS IN HIS HEART THAT THERE IS NO GOD (Psalm 14:1) You're welcome |

I wish Christians were taught on how to know Christ rather than how to convince them to belong or remain loyal to a particular pastor or denomination. COVID-19 has proved that without going to "Church" on Sundays, most people can't connect to God by themselves. So I'm thinking... What if you can't watch your pastor preach online or on TV during this lockdown... Will you still be able to grow by yourself or will you wait until the lockdown is over to continue feeding from where you stopped? 3 Likes |

I can almost see the expression on you face right now. "This guy must be either naive or daft to even think this" you may say. But hold on follow me closely. Don't conclude I am wrong just yet. I don't have time for much write up so let's get down to business fast. if you wish for your child to be formally educated where do you take them? The Church or Mosque? No! You must take them to a proper school right? Why was the Church created? Please note that by church here I don't mean Christian religious denominations because that's where most people get it wrong. A denomination is not a church. Why did I say so? It is because denominations thrive mostly on man-made doctrines and human differences that has steamed from individuals interpretation of scriptures. So it is based on this interpretation and understanding of these individuals that denominations are formed. Let me return... Why was the Church formed? It was formed basically for the spiritual and mental growth, transformation, maturing and edification of believers all over until everyone of them can become a replica of Jesus Christ in every way. (please refer to Ephesians 4: 11-16). So there you have it. The Church is a school of the Spirit but unfortunately many do not care to grow in this school. They would rather worship and revere the word of their pastor over God's Word any day anytime. It's just like someone who is a student but would party from the beginning of the semester till the end and then expect to copy answers from someone during examination whom he isn't sure of whether they are giving the right answers to questions asked or not. So just like this student, unfortunately these are the majority of "Christians" that make up the church today. They don't want to go through the stress of knowing God because it is quite costly. They'd rather pay FULL attention to their jobs and hustle and go listen to pastor precah on Sunday. Is Pastor saying the right thing? They don't know(1 John 4:1). These set of Christians are forever dependent on others (Hebrews 5:12). It is not permitted in this School of the Spirit called the Church. Lastly, as long as your primary aim of "seeking God" is to be blessed you'll continue to be scammed full time. If you're in that category I want to direct you to your ancestors... Jesus encountered them during His time here on earth (John 6:23-27). These guys as Jesus said, were not interested in learning the system that governed the kingdom. They were not at all interested in being part of this kingdom which Jesus was teaching rather they were oy following because of bread which He gave them the previous day. Apostle Paul encouraged us to "study to show ourselves competent as workmen, as citizens of this kingdom (2 Tim. 2:15). But guess what? Alot of Christians are way too lazy to do this. Studying entails deep searching of truth with the 100% involvement of the Teacher himself - the Holy Spirt. Oh! How I love Him. So there you have it. Stop saying that Pastors are scam. If you want them to stop scamming you go and tread the path that all serious Christians have once treaded on or are presently treading. Stop being lazy! Because there's no how you'll stay with God's Word and have a commited prayer life (not the kind of prayer that you're always asking God for blessing. I mean a prayer life which is built solidly on a hunger to know God) and you won't grow. It's not possible. Most people are not interested in this. They don't want to know God. So that's where the problem lies. So if you've been doing this, it's time for you to stop and pursue God sincerely then you'll become a mighty man with power and grace. No one will scam you anymore. I hope you understand my caption now? PS: It's good to have someone as a physical guide but please don't make them God to yourself. They may not always be right you know? The fact that that great man of God heard from God yesterday doesn't mean He heard from God today. Only the wise will understand. 2 Likes

HardMirror: I took time to read your narrative. You actually at some point admitted that so many things which you experienced in the faith e.g. Praying in tongues and the gift of the word of knowledge were real. As I kept on reading I was able to pick that the problem started when that blind man and deaf boy weren't healed. And at a point you mentioned how that you walked out on a politician because he probably thought he could take advantage of you. From this last statement I got to understand that you're a perfectionist by nature. Although in itself it's not wrong to be a perfectionist but if carried into everything a lot of things will go bad. The Christian life is a life of faith as you already know. God is supreme and man CANNOT dictate to him what He should do. He is king. You don't order a king around. I know that deep in your heart you're angry at God for not answering you when you cried out to Him to heal those people. Remember same thing happened to Aositle Paul when that infirmity came in him which refused to heal? Even with all his anointings. Do you also know that Elisha with all his annointings died from an illness? Do you also know that God refused to honour the prayer of Jesus when he asked for the cup to pass from Him? Now it may seem as though God is not loving. There are things that God will never reveal to you when you ask. He doesn't owe you an explanation. He is king. What I notice from your narrative is that since you were already walking in a high level of anointing, you felt everything was possible and God MUST do everything you ask. But then you were disappointed. Reasons been that you're a perfectionist by nature and also you don't like it when people maltreat you or take you for granted. This was where the problem was. Bro let me tell you this... It is ok not to have all the answers (most people don't like this) . Even Apostle Paul said that we see in part and understand in part. You can't have an explanation to everything. If you did, then it won't take long for you to feel like God who knows all things. That was the problem with Adam and eve in scripture. They wanted to be like God and understand everything. Whenever you're soaring in God, one of the ways He puts you in check is to let you be in some situations where everything you know will fail. That's His way of reminding you that you're still human. It was pride that got into you. You were known by all to be a miracle worker... A status you enjoyed very well. But all of a sudden you can't perform one small miracle that should be like a piece of cake. And then you became upset. You know I'm saying the truth. A man that must walk long with God must always remain a child at heart. This you weren't. You may have matured in other areas but not in shutting off pride. Like you said there's nothing anyone can tell you now that will make you return because you already know all. The scripture says that it is impossible to restore someome like you back to the faith (Hebrews 6:4). You know the right thing to do Bro. If there was ever an evidence of God in your life then you know He's real. No one can return you back to Christ. There's a fight for your soul. The question is... Are you going to give it up? 5 Likes 1 Share |
