JasOnKruegEr:
I was withdrawn from the university after my 300 level due to administrative issues, which was partly my fault. I have been depressed for over sometime now but thank God finally it's all in the past now.

Presently, I'm preparing to write jamb again and apply for either of medicine and surgery, pharmacy or medical laboratory technology . my question is what are these courses like?
After 3 years wasted you still wish to go a bigger course you know nothing about? From your question of confusion it seems you no no book.

My advice, go into a 4years course give it your best to come out at least 2.1... Go for masters abroad and thank me later with 1 million naira of your salary in 6yrs time

I agree on the theory but don't do the charity payback on the expense of nigerians. Whatever favour they rendered to the president is personal and shouldn't reflect on Nigerians.

Nigerians were not locked up with buhari and Abba Kyra didn't put us on monthly salaries.

Aisha got every right to demand them to leave Aso Rock as long as she remains the wife of the president and still holds the office of the first Lady.

The law acknowledged the president to stay with his family and kids not extended families

Stupid talk and do you think the LNG is for free. And we produce our own crude and buy proper refined crude from Europe not Nigeria who can't even refine a quarter of their oil.Why do you think you're the only one who sells LNG.You rather loose if we decide not to buy your LNG and by God's grace we now produce our own LNG now so we don't buy yours again.Listen, our energy sector is far stable and better than yours with blackouts everyday in your country. We enjoy 24/7 electricity throughout the year in Ghana which is a dream in Nigeria
How many nigerians do you see in your internet borders to start with? Here you are in nairaland making threats. Can't you be reasonable?

The nigeria borders were closed for a reasonable explanation which we didn't close because of ghanians but u guys failed to think

Check the amount of exports Ghana exports to Nigeria compared to what Nigeria exports to Ghana. Ghana doesn't need any ECOWAS and if there's a trade war,Nigeria loses 159 million dollars whilst Ghana loses just 80 million dollars. Ghana exports over 17 billion dollars of goods worldwide just in 2018 and Nigeria is not even among top 10 export countries of Ghana even in Africa. All our products are exported outside Africa. Its the millions of Nigerians and their businesses in Ghana who loses not Ghana so think well before trying anything foolish with us.We never rely on your zoo. We're not Benin Republic. It's just that those trucks had already set off so they don't know if they should return back. If they do and we start retaliating, hope you don't cry xenophobia again. Why do you think your ambassador said Ghana is not the target so he will forward it to your authorities to let those trucks in.He knows if Ghana charges, you people will start crying all over the place
Oga it seems you know nothing about Nigeria. You so think Nigeria cares about 159 mil dollars? Think twice. That amount is what one citizen can easily consume without thinking twice.

I don't support the borders being closed cos we all are one africa but I advice you ghanians to approach the issue with diplomatic and reasonable way not with threats cos trust me you guys will lose big time.

Don't be deceived with poverty rate you guys see online and news.. Nigeria can buy whole of Ghana in just a sec if they wish to

So, what should Buhari have done? He should have beaten Daura's daughter or locked her up?

Is there a family in this world where there are no conflicts? And does that belittle the competence of the head of that family? We are humans, and are bound to collide once in a while due to individual differences and conflicting interests. That is why we have conflict resolution.

Aisha's story did not happen suddenly. You must have read about Yusuf and the House that Maman Daura once occupied. This means that the tension had been building over time. Aisha has yet to imply that Maman's daughter is always rude to her, so it might just be a one-off incident which happened due to anger, immaturity, and women palaver.
What In God's name are they doing in the villa in the first place? Why you guys so foolish and stupid at once? Damn u nigerians!

Listen young man, the problem with we humans is when we think we better off than others and try thinking they should change.

Don't try changing humans cos u didn't create them... All u can do is learn to cope with them and if you feel is something you can adopt to quit and life goes on.

That girl got a good heart I can imagine from you write up... But never try changing her and thinking your marriage will be healthy.

How your family of friends thinks or see your partner shouldn't concern you as long as she suites you close doors... The worse marriage is the close door fight marriage don't ever get your self involve in it.

RomanceRe: Any Guy Earning 50k Should Not Have Any Business Getting Married - Twitter Lady by Ikem11(m): 7:05am On Oct 10, 2019
franchasng:
In as much as we will all try to attack and condemn the lady for saying such, there is lot of truth in what she wrote, and I will explain:

Back in the days of our fathers, there was no GSM, no internet, no cable TV, so it was never necessary for a man or woman to own a mobile phone, buy internet data, buy airtime, pay for cable TV like DsTV or GoTV or Star Times, etc. In fact there was no need to have a fridge/freezer before you get married because there were electricity only in few parts of Nigeria, mostly the cities, and only less than 20% of Nigerians then lived in the cities, and maybe less than 5% of those city dwellers owned a TV set, a fridge/freezer.

There was no need to own a washing machine, only the elites did....there was no need for electric or gas cooker, no need to talk about owning a car to think of maintaining and fueling the car, only few elites owned cars.

Back then, all schools were government owned, private schools were seen as useless schools for dull people, and most government schools then were free, the ones that needed to be paid for were peanuts...so you don't need to stress to send your children to school, all they needed was school uniform and books.

Back then, there were very few private hospitals, all existing reputable hospitals were all government owned and well equipped and competent, today is different....to take care of your wife's delivery and children health, you must pay through your nose if they must get adequate healthcare.

All the reputable schools now are owned by private individuals, and their tuition is on the high side that, someone earning that amount she mentioned can never be able to send his children to any good school, sadly that's the reality not what we wished was the reality cry

Before you can get married today and have a relatively happy home, you may need to rent a 1 bedroom flat at least, you will pay for electricity bill monthly, buy gas for cooking, pay for refuse collectors, pay estate or community security which was free in our father's time, you may need TV, GoTV which also requires monthly subscription, you must own a mobile phone, including your wife, and who will be buying the airtime, the internet data, maybe Buharihuh

Honestly, to live a decent life in Nigeria or run a decent, modest home in Nigeria now as a married man, you will need around 200,000naira monthly income, which is why every Nigerian lady now should make it a priority to have a job or a business or a trade or something earning her legal money of at least 50,000naira monthly before she accepts to marry any man.

Gone are the days ladies bring only their body to marriage, ladies your body is no longer enough, you must bring some money too....a monthly income!!! angry

That guy that replied her and saying he is earning 57,000 and he is married with 2 kids, he should also tell people about other ways he earns money to augment his 50k monthly salary; or he thinks we don't know how corrupt majority of Nigerian civil servants are, collecting kickbacks, bribes, and engaging in all forms of office corruption to makeup their low payhuh

He should also tell us if he doesn't get one or two financial help from one of his big brothers or uncles living somewhere else either abroad or in another city, so let him STFU that income is not enough to run a family in today Nigeria!!

If you are not earning enough income to raise a decent home, pls stay single, its not a crime to remain single, it is a crime to give birth to kids u can't train or give decent life, they will grow up to become societal problem and easy tools for crime/violence which is why Northern Nigeria and in fact Nigeria is so messed right now!

Stop giving birth to kids u can't train or hoping for your uncle or brother or sister or aunt or friend to train them for u, the world has changed, this is not 1980!! angry
You get time typing this long trash? Someone asked a question. What if the guy is earning millions after 1 year of marriage lost his job should he divorce his wife and throw his kids away till he gets another job?

You just pathetic. Havnt you seen many with less income with happy home?

There re recent series of it. Why still stuck with the old series?
They ran out of ammunition... Since when now ammunition now a gun? The gun they using is best for the fight they facing only problem is they are not well equipped.

Look at that first picture in front page. That man is already in war zone dressed like that... No bags no extra ammunitions just his riffle with one extra magazine.

How do you expect him to defend an ambuse? Definitely he might die in duty cos it's obvious he will ran out of ammunition.

Ak-47 can fire rounds rounds of magazine till it burst into frames yet still firing but never will it jam for once.

That dude in that pic suppose be well equipped with bag on his back with about 30 extra magz even his pockets supose get magz

Dude AR means Assault Rifle

Bro just help google Barret REC 7 or Colt AR-15

I don't wanna argue with you bro

I sleep guns
Just one of my things
Oga AR-15 fires 5.56 rounds semi auto while AK fires 7.62.

You can't compare a civilian riffle with a tactical riffle.

The only reason I see some country military use AR-15 is because its a longer range riffle and though more accurate while AK is a shorter range TACTICAL riffle.

Where the problem lies is in war not just in using guns. There are many reasons AK is regarded as best in the world till today...if u want us to go on I can give u a piece of my time

Bro do your research on AR-15
Oga AR-15 is not an assault riffle.

Let me make one thing clear for your understanding.

If you tap on AK trigger it fires more than 1 round of ammunition.

If you do same with AR-15 it fires only 1 round.

Now use your head

@op. I am 38 years married to oyibo woman with 3 kids...

Let me go straight to the point. Your mom and mine got same mind but yours is over possessive cos I remember when I wanted getting married she always tell me whatever you do never marry any woman that is not Igbo woman.

When I met my wife my mom doesn't approve of it somehow cos she always make her stands clear ( marry Igbo woman) when I first got my first child na she dey rush me..

Second child ( please be teaching them Igbo language)

Third child ( she came for omugo)

So u see, in as much she doesn't like her but the way you handle things proves to her u a matured man who can make decisions and she will relax.

So my advice, sit your mom down, allow her to finish her mind and advices to you when she is done, tell her your mind and what makes u happy as a man

And by the way, your age is 28 and u marrying 28? I didn't say something is wrong there but trade with caution u will thank me one day.
