@Omenkalives, hurry, we need your input, ape.

[s]Good morning.

I come in peace.

For sometime now, concerned observers like myself have been asking some questions about the supposedly unblemished (according to his followers) leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. It is on record most of these queries, simple as they sound, have been met with nothing but insults. It is my sincere hope this would go differently.

Now, alot have been said about this young man and alot has he said. He is not the first of his kind the world has seen and he certainly wouldn't be the last. What seems, though, to set other secessionist leaders or "freedom fighters" apart from him is that the records of his past are as obscure as they come!

The business of secession is one heck of a serious business whose significance should never be underemphasised. If a country were to break away from Nigeria, I as a patriotic citizen of Nigeria would like to be rest assured I wouldn't end up with some very unstable and aggressive neighbors because that would have undesirable consequences for my own state Security. For this reason, I'd like to have the assurance, no matter how unlikely it is, that such a country is in face hands, and being in safe hands implies safe brains.

With this foundation laid, I'd like to know what exactly are Mazi Kanu's educational qualifications and what intellectual property or exploits can we ascribe to him? What schools did Mazi Nnamdi Kanu attend and what grades did he graduate those schools with?

Does Mazi Kanu have any intellectual property, say a book or a publication, to his credit? Has he ever addressed a gathering of intellectuals or scholars?

Kanu says he wants a debate, a renown Igbo man volunteered, and the next thing we hear is "the man isn't intelligent enough!

President Buhari graduated Secondary school probably over 30 years before Kanu did (that is if he did) yet to this day, he's still being abused, notably by IPOB supporters, for not graduating secondary school or at best "presenting a fake WASSC result" where he failed this subject and that.. Can we see copy Of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's WASSC result or even a "fake copy" with all the distinctions he had?

Can we have the names or photographs of Kanu's class mates?

The "UK university" Mazi Kanu allegedly attended has either been scrapped or barred from issuing certificates since it didn't meet the bare minimum standards for such institutions in the West. Can we see a copy of the certificate issued Mazi Kanu upon his graduation from that school? Who were his mates in that school?

When questions arose about his previous employment records and attempts were made to answer them without the usual insults, we all know what a disaster that turned out to be as the records revealed a man literally living on the fringes of starvation.

Just as my President was and is still being asked these very important questions, with a full accompaniment of derogatory comments, I imagine it is well within my right to also make such inquiries about the "Supreme Leader" of those who ask similar questions about my country's leader.

Thank you.[/s]

life2017:
I am a well known Buhari supporter in this forum.

But I am beginning to get angry with him due to his deliberate silence on Fulani herdsmen attack and murder.

Though I have always forgiven his element of nepotism and bigotry because I believe in his fiscal responsibility, but his silence on killing of innocent lives over cattle and farmland is an elastic limit for me.

he needs to address this issue before he lost all the support he has in the south from Non politician like me who has no interest in selfish political gain but supported him because we believe his fiscal responsibility relative to past adminstration is much better.

We can not trade human lives of citizens for politics.

I may be a nobody, but I believe I am speaking the mind of many of his southern supporters. He need to act fast before he lose our support.

we don't believe he can resolve it with a magic wand. But his body language and silence is adding fuel to the fire.

Yam like you, so you think there are still people supporting Buhari? You're waiting for him to do what before you realize what the rest of us know

Reelectbuhari:
In what look like a well organised plot, some Hausa- Fulani youths blocked all major streets and staged bloody protests in Makurdi, Benue State, on Saturday.
There was pandemonium in the state capital as the youths smashed vehicles, manhandled innocent people and shot others.
The residents and business owners hurriedly closed their shops and ran home for fear of unknown.
The protests which caught many unaware started simultaneously at 9:30 a.m. in Wadata, Wurukum, Northbank and Angwan – Jukun areas, all in Makurdi town.
These areas are mostly populated by Hausa- Fulani people.
At Wadata, the Hausa youths barricaded the busy Ankpa quarters junction and smashed over 15 vehicles and wounded many passengers until a team of policemen arrived the scene.
They carried out their operation up to Madikpo and Dele Bookshop.
But their attempt to break into Igbo electronic shops and cart away good was met with a stiff resistance from the traders and fight broke out.
All the shops in Makurdi were shut and traders, mostly Igbos formed groups and keep watch over them to prevent hoodlums from taking advantage.
Unconfirmed government source alleged that there was a grand plot to unleash mayhem in the state and forced the government to declare a state of emergency.
The state Governor, Samuel Ortom, through his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, condemned the riots and asked security agents to arrest the suspects.

We (Ndigbo) will innovate will the sun stops rising. Nothing has stopped or blocked us. But make no mistake, Nigeria has tired. We know what we will be without this zoo you call Nigeria because all Nigeria has do to industrialists is deliberately use all of it's instruments to destroy it. We were refurbishing planes in the Biafra war, that's steps away from making and a few more from manufacturing.

Anyone that believes they're from the Nigg4r Area and has a country is a fool, and to come on here asking people why they haven't made airplanes when the man that made cars was thrown in jail is the height of ignorance. I feel like people who say this trash can only be based abroad.

We're in a zoo and the north can't survive if the south is successful. The ego of the west is bruised when the east succeeds. If you don't know why people aren't building airplanes, it isn't cause they haven't read this trash thread.

It is no longer news that abia state government has rejected any plan of federal government to use its land as a grazing reserve. I really don't blame them due to the herds men reputation of late which has been soiled further by the recent Killing in benue state.

Abia state is a state that has little or no federal government presence. So you can imagine my shock when even without been named the government is in a hurry to reject this offer without even hearing what federal government plan

If federal government is serious about ending the menace caused by cattle rearers then I would suggest the following which will make States like abia state regrets it's decision

1) federal government should encourage sells of packaged meat products

2) grazing reserve land should be allocated or bought from 6 States in 6 geopolitical zone by both government and private enterprise

3) grazing land should be adequately fenced and local indigene should be used as security

4) open land grazing law should be enacted with serous fine. Nobody should be seen with cattle on roads or Street

5) adequate transportation should be provided to move this life stock from one grazing reserve to another..

Most of you won't agree but if this my little common sense can be implemented I believe this could be the end of fulani attack.

Policemen protest non-payment of salaries in Kaduna

Kaduna—Hundreds of policemen serving in Kaduna State Command, yesterday, stormed the command headquarters to demand explanation to the non-payment of their salaries for up to two months. The policemen, who came from various formations across the state, stayed in front of the police quarters peacefully before the state Commissioner of Police, Agyoleh Abeh, addressed and assured them that efforts were being made to correct the anomalies. He said the non-payment of salaries of some officers of the force was not the fault of the police high command but technical issues associated with the recent migration to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information system, IPPIS.

NLC: El-Rufai’s policies have made thousands of workers wretched

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) says the “draconian” leadership of Nasir El-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, has made thousands of workers in the state wretched.

The Kaduna government had sacked primary school teachers for failing to pass assessment tests.

In a New Year message to Nigerians on Sunday, Ayuba Wabba, president of NLC, said workers would be mobilised to march for the reversal of the teachers’ sack.

He lamented that El-Rufai’s Christmas and New Year gift to Kaduna workers and their families “is tears and sorrow”.

Wabba said the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) report which indicated that over 4 million Nigerians lost their jobs in 2017 explains the current economic landscape of the country.

“Rather than work to create jobs and improve the condition of Nigerian working people and Nigerians in general, leading elements in the ruling APC government, like governor Nasir El-Rufai, have been taking measures to further chastise and ruin Nigerians by throwing tens of thousands of workers into the already saturated unemployment market and wretchedness,” the statement read.

“We wish to once again draw the attention the Presidency and Nigerians in general to the ongoing draconian leadership of the Kaduna state government under mallam Nasir El-Rufai as governor.

“A couple of months ago, Governor El-Rufai by administrative fiat dismissed over 22,000 primary school teachers in the state under the excuse that they failed to pass assessment tests that the authorized teaching regulatory body did not conduct.

“Similarly, El-Rufai equally sacked over 4,500 local government employees in the state.

Police Protest in Kaduna over Unpaid Salaries

Paul Obi in Abuja and John Shiklam in Kaduna
Some policemen serving in the Kaduna State command on Monday staged a peaceful protest against non-payment of their two months salaries.
The policemen, mostly of the rank and file, stormed the salary department of the command to find out the cause of their predicament.

The protesting force men were made up of those who were paid half salaries and those who hadnot been paid for two months.
They alleged that their salaries were being deducted indiscriminately without any explanation.
It was learnt that the problem started following the implementation of Interpersonal Payroll Information System (IPPS) by the ministry of finance.

The policemen complained that the problem started in August when some of them started receiving half or even less than half of their salaries while others were not paid at all.
“When we complained, we were told that the problem would be rectified in September, but the problem still persisted in September.

“Nobody told us what was happening. How can they be shortchanging us in these hard times,” one of the protesting policemen said.

See The Huge Debt Of Kaduna State

The Kaduna State government, ruled by Mukhtar Ramalan Yero states that the present administration inherited huge debts taken by past administrations since 1965. Kaduna State government says that as on December 31, 2013, the estimated debt is N37.5billion. Speaking at a briefing held in Kaduna Sama’ila Aliyu, the State Commissioner of Finance, announced that the state was working tirelessly to offset the debts.

The Commissioner of Finance notes that the loans do not form part of the debt relief from Paris and London Club which Nigeria enjoyed in 2006. The state loans are from multilateral institutions such as the World Bank, International Development Bank, IDA, and Africa Development Bank, AFDB. READ ALSO: Nigeria’s Debt Rises To N8.32tn Aliyu stressed: “In 2006 there was reconciliation and sharing of debt obtained as far back as 1965 between the new Kaduna State and Katsina State"

According to him, the actual balances outstanding against Kaduna State were USD84, 995,475.13. Only second to Lagos without far less economic output. But over the years subsequent administration in the state continued to borrow from these financial institution for various infrastructural development projects amounted to USD185,968,750.26.

Kaduna teachers begin indefinite strike
JANUARY 8, 20181:58 PM

Teachers in public secondary and primary schools in Kaduna State on Monday began an indefinite strike action over job security and welfare issues. The strike was called by the state chapter of the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT).

The government on Sunday threatened to sack any teacher that joined the strike. In some of the schools in Kaduna metropolis only security guards were noticed in the premises as students and teachers remain at home. At LGEA Primary School Mahuta and Unguwan Boro only security guards were at the premises while the classrooms were under lock and key. One of the security guards told NAN that no teacher had resumed, adding that some of the pupils went home after hanging around with no teacher to attend to them.

Kaduna teachers demand salary arrears

The Kaduna State chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has decried the non-payment of up to 11 months’ salary arrears in various local government areas of the state, saying it was one of the impediments to the teaching profession at the local government level.
The state chairman of the NUT, Audu T. Amba, at an event to mark the World Teachers’ Day in Kaduna yesterday, lamented the delay in payment of LGEA teachers’ salaries for up to two weeks after their colleagues at the state are paid.

According to him, another impediment to teaching and teacher empowerment is the outstanding payment of balance of leave grants for 2015 and non-payment for 2016.

“For 2016, teachers don’t even know their fate yet. 10percent of teachers’ salaries is deducted monthly and paid to them as their leave grants at the end of the year, so it is a right and not a privilege. Also, training and re-training of teachers, especially primary school teachers are not being adequately addressed,” he said.

The teachers also complained of congestion in classrooms with inadequate furniture to cater for the number of pupils in public schools.
