Bonesking: I can assume that you are educated at least to university level. If you are, how can a so called God Father determine your political destiny? The same God Father, will determine who is going to be your Governor, Senator, House member and your duty is to queue and formalize his selection. How smart are you? Igbo people do not have any leader and we are fiercely independent the people you mentioned "Umahi, Obiano and Uzodinma" are nobody and can not win any village election - "freely". The only leader majority of Igbos have is Nmadi Kanu, and another leader people "may" listen to is Aberibe Enyinnaya. The rest are nobody. So please insulting our intelligence. In South East, nobody can determine the choice of the people. No God fathersim .We vote for who I want. |

bikefab: My brother, i tire ooo!, What buffoonery. Police kill people in Nigeria on a daily basis, none of these buffoon said a pip. Common ! This is height of irresponsibility. In Nigeria, police cannot even allow you to protest peacefully without using excessive force and in most cases using live bullet. All the extra judicial killings going on in Nigeria, all killings perpetuated by the Fulanis, nobody said a pip. common, this is a joke. Man, this is crazy. 1 Like |

ceejayluv: ceejayluv:This might not be correct. The mortality rate is around 1.3% ("https://time.com/5798168/coronavirus-mortality-rate/"), some may argue that it is below 1% ceejayluv:I agree that the flu has a vaccine, but is it effective? How many people dies in 2018 from the flu? - 80,000 people (https://edition.cnn.com/2018/09/26/health/flu-deaths-2017--2018-cdc-bn/index.html) |
Health / Re: COVID-19 Cure: Iwu Says FG Yet To Show Interest In Their Drug by iknowwhoiam: 6:27pm On May 11, 2020 |
Tayeni: The issue is not infection rate, but mortality rate, Ebola, Malaria, have high mortality rate than COVID-19, yet there is no successful cure for either. There are many documented cases of people over 60 years who survived COVID-19. E.g. Prince Charles. The main thing just as you wrote 'Same for people who have underlying conditions or whose immunity is compromised." |

Health / Re: COVID-19 Cure: Iwu Says FG Yet To Show Interest In Their Drug by iknowwhoiam: 5:51pm On May 11, 2020 |
ceejayluv: We are on the same page, if the drugs (Madagascar drug, IWU/Orji drug, remdesivir , HCQ + Zinc + Vitamin D + C) can reduce the mortality rate, that is great. That is what we want. If this is the case, then why the panic across the world?, If this is the case, then there is actually no need for the vaccine. Malaria (in Africa) and flu ( in the west) is even more deadlier than COVID-19. So why the fuss? |

ceejayluv: Definitely, nobody in Nigeria knows about the bold. Likewise, Iwu and co did not claim that their drug is a vaccine but rather a "therapy" if i may borrow your word. Even one of those claimants ( I belief Orji or so, please correct me if am wrong) had even volunteered to test the drug on himself. Why not allow him? Why not allow them? I belief it still boils down to $. |

Guess what, the drug seems to cure the virus to the extent of sending it to Nigeria. We have the resources in Nigeria that can dig us out of this quagmire, yet people seems not be interested in the cure, rather in $. |

larrysworld: My brother, many thanks for the info. I always ask myself why our people (most Nigerians) by extension the world do not ask relevant questions. I came to realization that they have been brain washed by CNN/BBC and the likes and by extension local media that do copy and paste from AP, CNN, BBC etc. This is a simple question 1. Why is the media (CNN/BBC/AP/CNBC/ABC/NBS) vis-a-viz WHO vehemently opposed to the use of HCQ that has been proven to work in many studies 2. Why is the media (CNN/BBC/AP/CNBC/ABC/NBS) vis-a-viz WHO always dismiss other credible cures for COVID-19. e.g Madagascar without subjecting the claim to scientific process 3. Prof Iwu had claim that he has cure for COVID-19., nobody (Nigeria Government) is paying attention to him why? Nigeria Government had not bordered to test the efficacy of his claim? 4. Why is youtube censoring doctors and scientist who claims that the use of HCQ/Zinc is wffwctive in treatment of COVID-19? 5. Why are government across the world passing laws to enforce vaccination? The answers to the above will help clear some doubts some people may have. |

LordShiva97: LordShiva97: My brother he should respond, Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and Bill gates has vested interest in Nigeria vis-a-viz Africa. The people making the accusation are the opposition and you do not joke with opposition accusation in US and in UK and most of the western countries. Bill Gates through is a billionaire, is just ordinary human being, a lot of people are heckling him here in the US, and he dare not come out openly because they have seen the type person he is. I wonder why some people worship him in Nigeria. We are on a public forum, there is a lot of things i will not write. A lot of your politicians are thieves, they can sell their mother for $10k. Ask those people who are close to politicians in Nigeria they will open your eyes a little. Finally, please do not defend any politician in Nigeria, YOU DO NOT WHAT THEY DO BEHIND CLOSED DOORS" |

LordShiva97: You are right on the burden of proof . However, Bill gates and the alleged receivers of the bribe have not come out to deny the allegation. Unless you are a son/daughter (not even a relative) please do not speak for those crooks. Am writing because i know them. If you can remember, Bill gates personal doctor had come out and said that Bill gates never vaccinated their children, so many people like you came and defended him, when you do not even know him personally, so many so called "fact" checking site had came out to 'debunk" the "lies". But it is very interesting that Bill Gates never deny the fact when he was asked in an interview.. He deflated the question. Is that not interesting? |

Gerrard59: You seem to have an authoritarian tendencies and that goes to the root of the matter. Government should not force it's citizens to take vaccines they don't believe in. You can get vaccinated and be protected, no wahala, as long as i cannot infect you, then but leave me and other like minded citizens to die if we contact the virus. It is none of your business. Do not have pity on us. let me enlightened us a little, this vaccination is about control and monitoring. By the way, Bill Gate have the vaccine and waiting for others to fail before be bring in his own vaccine that is laced with microchip. He has said this publicly, he have never hidden his evil intentions. Google! If some guy in Nigeria will come up with a vaccine, i will accept that, but not foreign vaccine that has proven time and time again to detrimental to health of those who injected the vaccine. By the way, Bill Gate has said that he (his company) will need to be indemnified (viarecipient government) from any issue that WILL arise from the new vaccine. Google. |

kevoh: kevoh: I do not have data on the core north, so I cannot dispute your assertions. However, am sure of the eastern part of Nigeria. kevoh: Like i wrote, it is a requirement in most African countries during ingress, Nigeria inclusive. However, it is not a requirement for US, UK, EU. This am very sure. Nevertheless, all the above is besides the point. kevoh: Why force me to vaccinate? Just like other vaccination campaign in Nigeria, it should be voluntary, that is my issue. Do not pass a legislation to make it compulsory to the extent of imprisonment. My point is, if you are vaccinated against COVID-19, that means you are immuned to the disease, so why not leave those who do not want to be vaccinated alone, so that if they contact the virus, then let them die, it is none of your business. kevoh: Please read the bill again. Among other things, the bill provides 'In an outbreak or a suspected outbreak of any infectious disease in any area in Nigeria, the Director General may by order direct any person or class of persons not protected or vaccinated against the disease to undergo vaccination or other prophylaxis within such period as may be specified in the order" Aside the above, the bill sought to give excessive power to the NCDC, this is terrible. 1 Like |

kevoh: I will be glad, to clear the air. I have not seen anybody suffering from yellow fever, since i was born, there maybe, certainly I have not seen, I don't know if you have seen, am not implying that there are none. But I know for certain that it is not prevalent. Am aware from reading medical journals and news generally that yellow fever affects mostly blacks from certain region (by the way, why is it not a requirement form entering int US, EU) and other Asian countries). Finally, we know that you can get the yellow fever card from our airports without getting vaccinated and you can equally get the vaccination from any of the government health centers around the country "IF YOU NEED IT". Yellow fever vaccination is voluntary in Nigeria. Now the question is, why make it the "unknown" vaccine compulsory now? Why the rush to pass a bill for "unknown" vaccine / I watched the first reading, and it was clear that the deputy speaker accepted the "yeas" voice vote when the "neas" clearly has it. 1 Like 1 Share |

Nbote: Your write-up applies to you. tell us, which country on this earth require travelers to have vaccination to ingress and egress . Be carefully, I have been to many? By the way, yellow fever vaccination is a kettle of fish altogether. it is a requirement for most of the countries of which we in Nigeria circumvent. |

Gerrard59: "It's your prerogative not to accept the vaccine", this is key point, but if they decide to pass the NCDC bill, then there goes my "prerogative", Look at it this way, why do you have concerns about me not getting vaccinated if I cannot infect you (assuming you have taken the vaccine)? Ask yourself, why push for this bill now, why make it mandatory? On the article, it article mentioned specifically clinical trials and even mentioned people who were randomly selected for the trial in some countries already. It's nothing about vaccine development but trial of ones already developed by other entities, Question, why not start in Italy, Spain, Germany, UK, USA, or even China? 1 Like |

Gerrard59: Are you implying that the conspiracy to reduce Africa especially Nigeria population is a theory, Bill Gates and co had not hidden the fact. Bill Gates talks about it opening. Gosh, are you daft? I did not receive those vaccines and over 45 years old and am very healthy. Take your vaccine, You should not force me to take it by any means. Government around has proven time and time again not to be trusted. By the way can you explain to us the implication of the NCDC bill? if not to pave the way for forced vaccination. I rather contact the virus than take any vaccine. Furthermore, this demon (Dr Fauci) predicted in 2017 that there will be an outbreak. Watch the video and educate yourself. He said "There will be a surprise outbreak" and again " https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMyba8hlc0E |

When i read some trash and hatred emanating from some quarters on this forum mostly Yoruba Muslims, I shudder , Kanu asked some pertinent questions, instead of pondering on these question, you guys are heaping insults on him. Why is it that, it is only in Nigeria, that its leader does not do live broadcast and possibly take questions from the press.? Where is the Vice President, why has he not appeared in public since.? Does he have COVID-19? Where is Femi Adesina, he normally take interviews from the press. Now he is no where to be found. Does he have COVID-19? Where is Burutai? He normally appear in public, but now he has disappeared. Does he have COVID-19? Why does the "Presidency" keep churning out The so called meeting between the Vice President and the President, why is there no video broadcast of it.? All the meetings the President had since two weeks ago, why is there no video broadcast of it.? these are some of the questions Nigerians need to ask themselves. Nigerians need to demand answers from the "Presidency" Why the deception?, why the lies?, why the cover ups? 3 Likes |

"Look at what is happening in Ecuador, they are putting bodies out on the streets, you are going to see that in countries in Africa,” she said. She disclosed that when she "saw what China had to do to isolate an enormous part of its population. My first thought was Africa. How in the world are they going to deal with this." "I have been in townships all over Africa and slums. When we talk about physical distancing and hand-washing. If you live in slums who can't physically distance, you have to go out and get your meals. You don't have clean water to wash your hands". |
