I am Yoruba man that have dual state of origin, one from a state in the southwest and another from Niger state, in all the major institutions in the North, there are more Yoruba than Igbo.

Being loud and noticeable in the market place doesn't equate to having more people. Go to ABU zaria, go to BUK, go to FUT yola, go to FUT Min na you will see large numbers of Yoruba as both student and lecturers owing to the accommodating nature of Northerners.
