Nairaland GeneralRe: Coogar Exposed As Credit Card Fraudster by IlekeHD: 10:00pm On Nov 21, 2015
airmark:
I dont think this is needed for now. He has accepted to pay the money he fraudulently collected from his victim. There is no unjustly nailing coogar here. If you know how cc scammers operate, you would n't doubt anything. What is most important first is to save babe3 from the burden of debt, which coogar's payment would do.
I think it's quite needed.

1. Why attempt to take money from coogar on NL when the right officials could have forced him to pay babe back, if it's really her money.

I'm going to end this conversation here because 1) I believe NL didn't get the full story 2) Both culprits sound like scammers 3) I believe $4K is blackmail money 4) E be like say scammers plenty for NL 5) NL is protecting scammers 6) There is no case pending in court. NL has officialized itself as the judge and jury based on the foundation of revenge 7) NL is being run over by scammers, alleged fraudsters, and cabals cool NL has gone to the dogs.

Oluwaseun Osewa, I know how competitive ICT sector can be. Many won't understand how hard you worked to get NL on the international stage. Do not let your hard work go to waste. Linda Ikeji has protected her blog, I think it's time for you to do the same. There is competition in information technology, what are you doing to protect your position. Many of these mods don't understand ICT, some may even be gala sellers or mechanics, don't let them destroy your pride [NL].

Do you want the world to synonymize NL with "fraudsters, gangs, cults" and what not? Yoruba ronu! Seun ronu!

May eledumare/ Oduduwa continue to protect us even when we cannot protect ourselves. My trust in anything Nigeria/money/donations has completely dissolved into thin air.

Please have a great day.

It's really not. A lot of people are banking on coogar's enemies to undo him with this story.

I am not a fan of coogar nor his foe, however I will not contribute to unjustly nailing a man on a cross or seeing a criminal walk free.

1. If the case is in court, why is coogar begging behind close door? It's no longer in NL's hand, so why are we forming judge and jury? Why bring it to NL when the court's decision has not been made? If he's found innocent, then you're just as guilty for attempting to ruin a man's rep [be it online or offline].

2. Why did you guys claim that all he needs to do is pay Babe back? Hello!! If you have evidence, do not let him walk away even if he pays her back.

3. If you really have undoubtable evidence, why come on NL to warn us to stay away from him when you're all sure that he's going to prison anyway. He's going to be locked up. There should be satisfaction in that alone. Unless you don't have the evidence and you're hoping to corner him to write self-incriminating nonsense, unknowingly. You all should have come on NL after the court case.

From my standpoint, all I saw were circumstantial evidence. However if you have evidence that you're keeping from NL, take them both to court.
Credit card scam is not a small issue. Paying back babe shouldn't be the end of this discussion.

This is the biggest Nigerian forum where we discuss corrupt politicians, let's do what we can to keep criminals off the streets too. Any punishable crime should be reported to the right officials.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Coogar Exposed As Credit Card Fraudster by IlekeHD: 7:43pm On Nov 21, 2015
Have the court made their decisions?

Has coogar been indicted?
Nairaland GeneralRe: Coogar Exposed As Credit Card Fraudster by IlekeHD:
So many things I don't understand about this event. So many things we're not meant to understand. Honestly, I'd have called the police on both parties. In the eyes of the law, intentional ignorance to credit card fraud is not an excuse. NL is not a judicial system. This case should have been brought to nl AFTER legal processes have been filed and court decisions have been made. It's easy to unjustly ruin a mans reputation, it's impossible to build it back up. Should officials get a hang of this fraud allegations from visiting NL threads, nothing can stop both parties from being prosecuted. All it takes is for one nler to blow the horn. If coogar is indeed guilty of fraud, nl shouldn't be protecting him [by agreeing to not take the case to court if he pays]. That's protecting a criminal. Everyone involved will be prosecuted. People with the evidence should do the right thing and take this to an actual court.

My analysis: NL is protecting criminal[s]. Do not register on NL with your [personal] email account.

@Sagamite

Lol no man can separate me from my money. Don't try this ish with an Ekiti woman. We go use your skull to drink palm wine.

If you don't want war, why don't we sit down together and determine how we're going to peacefully divide Nigeria?

He only came to the state to steal & to kill.
That was what he did for eight years in Lagos state before our Asiwaju 'posted him to Osogbo as his personal ajele rent collector.
Who did he intend to kill?

if i may ask . . .whatever became of desola? years back she was a real enigma on nairaland and despite my many years of being on ghost mode, i found her to be a real class act anytime.

just to let the guys that gave birth to this thread celebrating all things yoruba know . . . . as events unfolds positvely out here, more and more yoruba folks will be incline to log off their ghost mode and contribute meaningfully to discussion in here, some threads back then was a tard too dirty to even come on board and every one and everything had something so bad to say to one another, but safe zone to be here for me and hopefully i speak on behalf of many ghost members too.

again i commend the progenitors of this thread to continue to keep it clean/tidy and we all be good, am sure we will get the occasional wolves wanting to create drama on some fast moving threads, best we continue to isolate em and continue to enjoy the well thought of opinions and ideas the yoruba are notoriously famous for in a good way . . . . . thoughts
Definitely! I'm also kinda getting tired of NL and may eventually drift off and come back.

In my early days on NL I used to attack Nigerian Pastors fiercely but I later realised that it seems the people like it that way.

Most of these pastors are real scammers from the big ones to the smaller ones. They are all guy men.

I give it to Yoruba pastors....they know how to scam big and still make it look like everyone in their congregation has a ticket to heaven grin grin

My mom tried to get me to listen to their nonsensical 1-hour prayer. I'm like "Mother, you no think I get better things to do?".

We're worried about small-small scammers, how about the big ones in Govt/churches?
