Remembering the Nigerians heroes past. Let again remember the former Nigerian president "Sani Abacha" this is how the former president of Nigeria "Sani Abacha" Died... Read below

the abrupt breakdown of the wellbeing arrangement of Abacha began on "Sunday, seventh June, 1998 right from the Abuja International Airport, following one of the white security faculty who went with President Arafat of Palestine warmly greeted him, Abacha."

Al-Mustapha said soon after the hand shake, he "saw the adjustment in the face of the late Commander-in-Chief and I educated the Aide-de-Camp, Lt. Col. Abdallah, in like manner. He, notwithstanding, prompted that we keep a nearby watch on the Head of State."

He stated, "Later at night of eighth June, 1998, around 6p.m; his primary care physician came around, regulated an infusion to balance out him. He was encouraged to have a brief rest. Joyfully, enough, by 9p.m; the Head of State was bobbing and accepting guests until a lot later when General Jeremiah Timbut Useni, the then Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, came calling. He was partial to the Head of State. They were excellent companions.

"They stayed and talked together till about 3.35a.m. A companion of the house was with me in my office and as he was saying goodbye to me, he returned to educate me that the FCT Minister, General Useni was out of the Head of State's Guest House inside the Villa. I at that point chose to advise the ADC and other security young men that I would be on my route home to plan for the early morning occasion at the International Conference Center.

"At about 5a.m; the security monitors rushed to my quarters to advise me that the Head of State was truly temperamental. From the start, I thought it was an upset endeavor. Quickly, I set myself up completely for any consequence. As a knowledge official and the Chief Security Officer to the Head of State besides, I formulated a methods for redirecting the consideration of the security young men from my break course by requesting that my better half keep talking with them at the entryway – she was in the house while the young men were outside. From that point, I got to the Guest House of the Head of State before them

"At the point when I got to the bedside of the Head of State, he was at that point wheezing. Commonly, I couldn't simply contact him. It was not permitted in our activity. Be that as it may, under the circumstance on ground, I stooped near him and yelled, 'General Sani Abacha, Sir, it would be ideal if you award me consent to contact and convey you.'

"I again thumped at the stool next to the bed and yelled in a similar way, yet he didn't react. I at that point acknowledged there was a genuine peril. I quickly called the Head of State's own doctor, Dr. Wali, who showed up the spot under a short ways from his home. He quickly gave Oga – General Abacha – two dosages of infusion, one at the heart and another near his neck.

"This didn't work obviously as the Head of State had turned freezing. He at that point disclosed to me that the Head of State was dead and nothing should be possible all things considered. I there and afterward requested that the individual doctor stay with the dead body while I ran home to be completely arranged for the issues that may emerge from the occurrence.

Gossipy tidbits had it that that Abacha passed on subsequent to eating an apple from his women.

This is the plain truth!!!! shocked

that's true in most cases because the guy may become greedy and start to blackmail the woman for money or the woman can plot his demise to avoid this. But believe me if I take such money I will eveporate into thin air, we may never meet again, at least not of my own free will and volition.

lawani:
since the Deji can claim Ijesa through the maternal link, I hope Akure can unite with Ijesa in a restructure.
No not exactly. it is the royalty that can claim that, not the entire populace, like I said most Akure towns men came from near Ekiti and some from benin. Akure is mostly populated by Ekiti people. You can tell from the linguistic affinity. Akure speaks Ekiti dialect, and pounded yam is also the favorite staple like the ijeshas too.

The ijeshas and Ekiti dialects are somewhat related but Ijesha dialect has been affected by Oyo and Ijebu incursion somewhat.
as you know that Ijeshas were prominent actors in the Ekiti parapo war led by an Ijesha Ogedengbe and Fabunmi of oke imesi an Ekiti.

Akure is related to Ekiti than to Ijesha.
infact I will boldly say Akure, Iju, ita ogbolu are part and parcel of Ekiti land and topography, hilly lands. .
No other town in Ondo state has anything in common with Akure like the Ekitis. ranging from dialect to culture and tradition and topograhy. e.g Ondo town, Owo,Idanre, Akokos, Ikale, Ijaws, Ilajes.
And remember that Ekiti was part of former Ondo State which Akure still remains the capital.

Akure would have been carved out as part of Ekiti but I guess that politics didn't allow that.
Culture › Re: The Ijesa State. by illicit(m): 9:29am On May 09, 2020
Akure has never been a part of Ijesha.
The Owafadeji was a maternal grandson to Owa Atakunmosa, and Owafadeji wasn't the first king in Akure but he was the first Deji. There were Alakures or Ajapadas before him. He was a prince when the Owa his grandfather gifted him a diadem on his return journey from Benin.

So inasmuch as he the first Deji was a grandson of Ijesha royalty doesn't translate to his kingdom being a part of Ijesha land ok?

from the pedigree Omo owa omo Ekun you can see that he was praised according to his maternal and paternal origin. Owa being aforesaid. Ekun is the founder of Akure. Ekun Asodeboyede, an Hunter from Ife. He is the progenitor of Akure royalty. But he and his lineage never used the title of Deji until Owafadeji became the king.
the original title for obas in Akure is Alakure/Ajapada.

Akure itself is a corruption of the phrase Akun re. The bead string snapped.

Akure historically is populated by migrants from hinterland Ekiti and Benin.

it is far fetched to term Akure as part of Ijesha.
Akure is more or less Ekiti because of cultural assimilation and population.

I am from hinterland Ekiti. My great grandfather migrated from Ado Ewi. Omo Owa omo Ekun is the first line in my family pedigree but how we related to Ijesha or Akure has long become history that I doubt can be traced now....

I am omo Owa omo Ekun

you are right just like ICPC prosecutes sharp practices and corruption, my points still remains tho the people I mentioned don't have prosecutor power, and if offenses are commited outside NDLEA's EFCC's ICPC's mandate they still refer to the police
Yeah.
EFCC, ICPC, DSS, NSCDC, they are actually police.

NDLEA is totally different and has prosecuting powers.

That's why drug dealers hardly run from police or Army, na to settle.

But if na NDLEA, Dem go jakpa.

Exc2000:
they are not under the police however, just like Navy would send Oil Bunkerers and other Economic crimes on the High Sea to EFCC for Prosecution, and NSCDC would send all vandals to Nigerian Police for Prosecution, Amotekun fully backed by the law would also send all culprit to Nigerian Police Force D - Department or State CID for prosecution, as only Nigerian Police, EFCC, ICPC , DSS has statury power of prosecution even if Nigerian Army catches a terrorist and need them prosecuted they hand them over to DSS

so Western Nigerian Seciurity Network Code named Amotekun is not under any Federal organisation

.
not in all cases...
if you are caught with drugs, only NDLEA can prosecute you, not the police
Romance › Re: Whats The Creepiest Thing You've Seen That You Haven't Shared Anywhere? by illicit(m):
Year 2000/2001, I was in jss1/2 I was in school during test period then I finished my test earlier than the others and was heading to d cafe to buy snacks, I have to pass the school gate area, I saw my senior, a lady in ss1/2 (they were not writing tests) walking with her boyfriend to the gate, the boyfriend was in mufti.(which was unusual as visitors are not usually allowed into the school premises except parents and etc but not guys or girls) they were lovey dovey and holding hands. (another unusual thing in a sec sch premises)

they kissed briefly and the guy stepped out the gate. when the girl was walking back to her class, she stopped and whistled to the guy and he looked back, then she picked a big stone and threw it over the gate, it hit the guy on the forehead, they both laughed.

Then the guy carried a bigger stone and threw it over the gate, it just landed on the girls head, gbam.
I even heard it. they both stood motionless for a minute and then they started laughing as the girl collapsed and the guy ran away. I ran away too.

throughout this incidence I never thought they noticed me but I was very near to the gate. they seem oblivious of me and then when I got to the cafe, I realized that the gate man was unusually
not there at his post nor other teachers or any other senior student was around.

everything was surreal.

on my way back from the cafe, my class mates had finished their test and were on the field now, I couldn't find the senior where she collapsed but the gate man was at his post listening to radio and acting unperturbed.

Till now I never told anyone this story because it will be hard to convince anyone that I actually saw it happened.
