For example, Satan no longer appear in the presence of God but in the book of Job, he comes to heaven at will to meet God. God was even asking him where he has been....


All the disasters that happened to job singled him out when he wasn't an island.... i.e earthquake destroyed just his properties and left that of neighbours.... can you imagine

Maccabees reads like a good historical. It reminded me somewhat of the days of David and Saul. But I fail to see how anyone can take any "gospel" from that when there were no actual places in there where God actually spoke to the people in all that.

Exactly, that's another reason why the Protestants don't accept it, they believe there is no place for God in it, that's it's just human....


But then some books in the Protestants Bible is pure fiction anyway, like the book of Job....

I have read almost every one of the texts I could lay my hands on and while they are mostly good reads, I don't believe they add or remove from the foundation of what is contained in much of scripture as far as God and the things of God are concerned.

I think they have problem with the book of Maccabees, they believe it teaches retaliation and retaliation to them is bad gospel

Secondly, Ironsi, left the counter coupists with no option. They and the whole country had begged him for 9 months prior, to arrest and bring to justice the murderers of the Prime Minister, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, the Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello, and other northern and Yoruba leaders in an igbo lead coup wjich left out all Igbo civilian leadrers, targeting only northern and Yoruba leaders.

Ironsi refused to arrest them - Nzeogwu and co. This outraged everyone that wasn't Igbo (and many who were), and it was really only a matter of time before Ironsi had to pay the price.

Ironsi and Fajuyi were innocent people....

They didn't deserve to die but Murtala deserved to die
