Politics / Re: Doubts Over Integrity Of CBN Audit Persist by ilohim: 4:43pm On Oct 21, 2009
Sanusi Lamido has no integrity; if he has any aota of integrity; why give Wema Bank & Unity bank till June 2010 to recapitalise? Is it not the same issues they ahve other banks?

They have bad loans, they are short on capital,so how are they different from other banks whose MDs were almost executed by EFCC, especially the first 5 MDs that were sacked?

It is well with Nigeria;people take laws into their hands & claim to be doing the right thing, yet we cant see any thing to prove they have done the right thing, none of the banks CBN intervained in by force is doing any better than they were before CBNs take over; as a matter of fact, they have all become worse.

So Sanusi Lamido should please tell us what he has achieved.
Health / Re: NMA Faults Government On Treatment Of Gunshot Victims by ilohim: 4:12pm On Oct 21, 2009
Doctors talk as though they are not mere humans.

Asking who pays at the expense of saving lives is funny. Is it not when a person is alive he/she will pay bills?

Gunshots can happen to anyone(including the doctors who are asking who pays) because no one knows who armed bandits would attack;victims are many times chosen at random.

The govt never said the victims will not pay, the govt said they should be saved first; when they are saved, they will be asked to pay, putting money first depicts callousness because it can happen to anyone, including the persons asking for money first, that one is a doctor does not mean the person cannot be shot by armed robbers/ or any other group of trigger happy bandits.
Romance / Re: Your Girlfriend Says "Baby I'm Pregnant!" by ilohim: 5:35pm On Oct 12, 2009
Many callous comments have been made by lots of guys here;but my question:

Why do u same guys always want to have premarital sex? Yet you dont want a child?

I really dont get you guys;stop the sex outside marriage bit so that we can have women who can still put to bed after marriage;many abortions have undone lots of ladies.

Someone could treat your sister or daughter the way you have treated someone elses too!

Its a vicious cycle, & I strongly believe that what goes around, comes around!
Politics / Re: ‘why Yar’adua Shunned Un General Assembly’ by ilohim: 5:20pm On Oct 12, 2009
This our President is an international disgrace;like someone has rightly asked, does he think Obama will notcie his absence?!

Come to think of it,no be sickness make am no go for the meeting?

Why are they lieing? Moreso, what has he got to offer there?

Its even better he didnt go.
Business / Re: FG: Nigeria’ll Not Enter Recession by ilohim: 5:16pm On Oct 12, 2009
I wonder myself what the country is going through now;they like to deceive themselves;these criminals in government.

We all know the dont have integrity so they can say anything, just to make themselves look as though they are working;what have they done to make Nigeria a better country?

They should please hold their peace.
Business / Re: Obasanjo Creates 6000 Jobs In Ota Farm by ilohim: 5:11pm On Oct 12, 2009
Are these real jobs?

Because I dont know what exactly 6000 people would be doing on Ota farm.

However, God dey!
Politics / Re: Nigeria Tanker Explosion Kills 70 (Anambra) by ilohim: 5:06pm On Oct 12, 2009
The blood of this innocent people is crying vengance on the heads of all those who were given contracts by the govt to put these roads in order, but they decided to embezzle the monies; as well as the Federal & state govt officials who award contracts for road construction without monitoring that the jobs are done.

God will require account of the lives of these dead people from their hands,a very wicked, self centred, greedy lot(the govt & the contractors).
Sports / Re: Should Amodu Shuaibu Be Sacked? by ilohim: 4:59pm On Oct 12, 2009
Emphatically, YES!!!!

He has nothing to offer Nigerian football.

He should retire & go & rest.
Romance / Re: Groom Shoots Bride Dead By Mistake by ilohim: 4:56pm On Oct 12, 2009

He may have something to hide!
Religion / Re: Is It Permissible To Adapt Secular Music For Worship?? by ilohim: 4:48pm On Oct 12, 2009
What have light and darkness got in common?

There is no way secular music can make praise & worship in church better;truth is there are all forms of worship music; there are gospel artistes from all over the world singing gospel music in all forms;so what could be the justification for going secular to worship God?

I dont think its right.
Politics / Re: Would You Vote For Yaradua To Be Re-elected? by ilohim: 4:42pm On Oct 12, 2009
Like someone has already asked;did we actually vote for him?

He was imposed on us;but if we had an opportunity to vote,my answer is emphatically, NOOOOO!!!!

He has nothing to offer this nation;he has not been able to deliver half of one of the seven point agenda.

What a shame!
Politics / Re: Senate Reviews Bill On Gunshot Victims by ilohim: 4:27pm On Oct 08, 2009
@ matrim again!

See your words; 'It is your right to decide if you want to carry a gunshot victim to the hospital'.

So let me ask you a question, what if the gun shot victim is YOU

Anyway, like I said earlier, its easier to talk anyhow(like you are doing), when its not you; at the time it becomes a life & death issue & you are the one affected, you will think & say otherwise, you are just talking, because you dont know what could happen at anytime, neither are you God,so hold your peace.
Politics / Re: Senate Reviews Bill On Gunshot Victims by ilohim: 4:19pm On Oct 08, 2009
@ matrim:

For the best of my knowledge( I am not an illetrate) so dont try to teach me the difference between a calling & a service; how many doctors by the way do you think we have?

So if its a service they should look for money first before saving lives?

What do you mean by dull yarn? I dont blame you;when you get attacked by armed robbers and have a gun shot wound (like I did) & get to a hospital, then they let you bleed to death, you will undertsand that money is not everything.

The same thing happened to me; why should doctors, who have a calling to save lives first be after money first,is it not someone that is alive that will pay bills?

Carry your dull yarn on till you become a victim;its always easier to talk anyhow when you are not a victim.
Politics / Re: Senate Reviews Bill On Gunshot Victims by ilohim: 7:55am On Oct 08, 2009
Its unfortunate that doctors have lost a sense of responsibility to what God has called them to do;and become callous money mongers;tell me how a doctor who is called to save lives will be thinking of monetary gain;instead of treating people that are at the point of death;we have become so callous and wicked.

Its a pity.
Politics / Re: Still On Sacked Bank Ceo's - What Happens To The Vanguard Newspaper Claim? by ilohim: 4:55pm On Oct 06, 2009
The Vanguard Newspaper write up was true, Sanusi just wants to prove them wrong, we know that the targets were the first 5 MDs;how come he suddenly threads with caution, using boards, instead of sacking, worse still if there is no agenda, how can Sanusi tell us that Unity Bank is okay?

This whole thing is a scam;banks are no longer giving credit to their customers;he is even talking about winding up these banks as a last resort, one man has done so much damage in less than 3 months;and he has been so unprofessional in his approach to this whole thing, talking without control.

We believe the write up in Vanguard Neswpapers; Sanusi is just playing to the gallery;there is no integrity in his actions, even the procedures he used were flawed and callous;he didnt think of the negative effects on the economy.
Business / Re: CBN Considers Intervention In 5 More Banks by ilohim: 5:03pm On Oct 02, 2009
To worsen the matter, the papers are reporting that the MD of Unity Bank may not be asked to resign, yet that bank is worse than any other Nigerian bank standing today; what kind of politics is Sanusi Lamido playing;who is he deceiving?

From the look of things he thinks Nigerians are all gaullible that he can sell any crap to us all, well;we are waiting to see what he does finally; he suddenly doesnt want to 'sack' by the powers vested on him; we thought he is the 'real president' of Nigeria & not Yaradua.

Rubbish.
Business / Re: CBN Considers Intervention In 5 More Banks by ilohim: 4:58pm On Oct 02, 2009
What is good for the goose is good for the gander; why the change in tactics?

Why are these MDs being treated differently

Sanusi Lamido has the erronous belief that he alone can interprete the laws of the land;from the look of things, the end of this his 'cleansing drama' is not in sight.

Na waaaooooh!
Politics / Re: Sanusi Must Go. by ilohim: 5:19pm On Sep 29, 2009
@biina & Sagamite:

The defence you guys are putting up for Sanusi Lamido is needless, since there is no one on this forum that is an illiterate; we all know what has happened & are entitled to our opinions, so you guys should stop making it look as though no one else has heard all his supposed 'reasons' for his actions and you are the only two that know.

Moreso, these are issues that are already pending in courts, since you guys are not lawyers or judges, allow the law courts to prove Sanusi Lamido correct in the way & manner he has carried out his 'selective cleansing' of the banking industry.

Thank you!
Politics / Re: Sanusi Must Go. by ilohim: 5:10pm On Sep 29, 2009
@ biina & Sagamite:

Save all your defence of Sanusi Lamido;there is no person on this forum that is not educated enough to reason & understand what is going on or what has gone on.

Since you are not lawyers or judges, allow the courts to determine the culpability or otherwise of Sanusi Lamido;you guys do not need to hold brief for him, all these matters are in court, hold your peace!

I rest my case.
Politics / Re: Sanusi Must Go. by ilohim: 7:51am On Sep 29, 2009
Citizen Y:

If indeed you understand what the is expected of a CBN governor, you wont make the utterances you are making.

For your information, I work in a bank; in every organization, there is something called 'procedure'; you cant just wake up overnight & wield the big stick, it may interest you to know that there are worse banks standing than the 5 Sanusi decided to use as sacrificial lambs; all moves he took did not follow the provisions of BOFID, CAMA or the rule of law; so the issue of esusu does not arise here.

This thing should have been done in a way & manner that every one would see that fair play & justice where employed;we are not barbarians,we are civilized people & we are in the 21st century!

It pleases my heart to know that most people on this topic have seen the adverse effects of his actions;you may need to go & read the provisons of BOFID & CAMA on the things your beloved CBN governor has done & see for yourself, whether he followed the rules;he is pointing accusing fingers at others, yet he couldnt do the right thing.

Its all a matter of pot calling kettle black, what a pity!
Politics / Re: Sanusi Must Go. by ilohim: 5:42pm On Sep 28, 2009
Let him go so that we can have peace in this nation.

His wahala is too much. He should go & start his own bank where they wont steal money since he is a 'saint'.

Nonsense.
Politics / Re: More Bank Ceo's To Go - Update 1 by ilohim: 5:25pm On Sep 28, 2009
The end of Sanusi Lamidos' cleansing drama is not in sight.

I wonder what soft landing has got to do with all this;its not in our CBN governors style, he should keep up the 'sack',its better for our 'rebranding image' as a nation and its also 'better' for the economy.

After all, thousands of Nigerians have been applauding his actions even when it is glaring that there were breaches of BOFID, CAMA & the rule of law in the sacking of the first five MDs that have tasted his 'cleansing' exercise.
Politics / Re: More Bank Ceo's To Go - Update 1 by ilohim: 5:05pm On Sep 28, 2009
From the onset when peopel like us didnt buy Sanusis' manner of 'cleansing' the banking sector, many people were busy 'backing him' daily in the media, even when it is glaring that there are major violations of BOFID, CAMA & the rule of law in his cleasing exercise.

Now he wants to give 4 CEOs 'softlanding' after digracing & comepletely battering the image of 5 others;if u ask me that is not fair play & I for one will ask that he should do exactly what was done to the first 5 to others, he was acting as though he was drunk, now he recognises that banks have board of directors; what a laugh.

God will help this nation; I pray that when Sanusi is through with this 'cleansing' we would still have an economy because he never considered the economy before embarking on whatever it is he is doing; because I dont know what to call it, when we know that worse banks than the first five like Unity are still standing, what manner of exercise is it
Politics / Re: More Bank Ceo's To Go - Update 1 by ilohim: 4:51pm On Sep 28, 2009
Well, having read most of our comments;

I am glad that we have all seen that the CBN governors judgements are biased,at least most of us agree and thats very good to know.

We dont need to get religious about this;but my own hurt is the fact that 5 MDs were treated with so much contempt, & he now wants to give others soft landing, why??!

I am of the opinion that what is good for the goose is good for the gander,Sanusi Lamido has now remembered board!why didnt he remember board before now?! After all the haste to 'harm' 5 MDs on the 14/08/2009?

I thought most of the nation have been backing him? Since he did the right thing the first time why is he not continuing in that 'right manner' this time??!

I have said from day one that Sanusi Lamidos' approach to the whole issue from the beginning did not follow BOFID regulations, neither did it follow the rule of law, but each day you read the papers, more & more people say they are 'backing him'; they should keep 'backing him';even the issue of printing 420billion just like that and pumping into privately owned banks without recourse to the shareholders who are the real owners was also swept under the carpet.

God will help this nation;with the kind of 'passion' Sanusi has to cleanse the banking sector, I hope we would still have an economy when he is through.
Politics / Re: Yar'adua Will Not Attend Un General Assembly by ilohim: 7:51am On Sep 24, 2009
What happens in this nation is so sad!

A nation that God has blessed with people of intellect who have studied even outside the shores of this country;yet a sick man that can not cure himself is imposed on us as a president & for all the time he has ruled, has nothing to show; so what were we expecting?

Is Yaradua president because we lack people in this nation who should be elected as president?

We short change ourselves, yet we cry foul.

Except Nigerians remove the ethnicity, tribalism & religious sentiments that have beclouded our sense of judgement one day a complete slowpoke would be president, so that his region in the country can be happy, not because he has merited being there or has anything to offer this nation.

Even Yaradua himself has told the whole world he didnt win election,so why is it a 'must' he should be president

'Must' he be president!
Education / Re: ASUU Strike: Yar’adua Seeks Oshiomhole’s Intervention by ilohim: 7:43am On Sep 24, 2009
Dont we live in a strange country?!

The president backs the CBN governor to print a wopping 420billion to put into privately owned banks without asking for help, yet he is looking for 'help' to send back the youth of this nation who his administration have decided to render useless as they have left them staying at home for months idle, because his children have all been married off to governors.

Yaradua is a failure & if the truth be told, does not deserve a second term in this country.

He should go & treat himself, he has absolutely nothing to offer this nation.

Not even half of a single 7 point agenda has been achieved, so what are we saying?
Investment / Re: Bank MD Stole Shares Worth 97 Billion Naira by ilohim: 7:38am On Sep 24, 2009
My grouse with this whole drama is why 5 banks were made to look the worst, meanwhile, we have worse banks standing!

To release the result of these worse banks has become a begging drama, yet our dear CBN governor was in a hurry to deal ruthlesssly with and 'sanitise' five banks & their MDs.

I still dont get it!

Can someone please unravel the mystery!
Investment / Re: Bank MD Stole Shares Worth 97 Billion Naira by ilohim: 4:29pm On Sep 23, 2009
I have said this from the onset that the CBN governor has not come clean on the dust he is raising in the banking industry.

Is an MD who single handedly looted 97billion more innocent than an outsider who was given 28billion? Which of them is more grevious? Yet we have a bank where an MD gave himself 97billion, the CBN governor is telling us it is not as bad as the sacrificed 5,how!

Why is the CBN governor reluctant to tell the truth about the remaining banks?
Because I know there is no bank in Nigeria today (Incluidng his former bank,First bank) that does not have a portfolio of bad loans running into billions, so why use 5 people as sacrificial lambs when the rest are equally as bad!

The end of this drama is not in sight.
Politics / Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi- Photo Evidence by ilohim: 5:28pm On Sep 18, 2009
Our IG has no integrity & has no shame either- We all know that these two things are lacking in our police, so why the hue & cry?

I am not surprised;when the police kill & maim innocent citizens without for no just reason,is it telling lies that is such a big deal?

Its the way of our police, nothing dey happen, na Naija we dey.
Politics / Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi- Photo Evidence by ilohim: 5:21pm On Sep 18, 2009
It is obvious to all Nigerians before now that there is one basic ingredient lacking in our police- integrity, so I am not surprised that the IG cannot tell the truth.

My question is why how do the police expect Nigerians to entrust their lives into their hands?

They say, 'To serve & protect with Integrity'; what a laff!

Na God go save us for this country oooh!
Politics / Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi- Photo Evidence by ilohim: 4:48pm On Sep 18, 2009
We can all see that our policemen lack one basic ingredient-integrity; when even the IG cannot tell the truth; how then can we entrust our lives into their hands for protection??!

These guys are shameless;our poilce have no shame.

How so sad!
Politics / Re: Ribadu's Visit To Gani Fawehinmi- Photo Evidence by ilohim: 4:32pm On Sep 18, 2009
We can now all see the crop of police we have;shameless liars, of course, you can now see that from the IG down, Nigerians cannot be told the truth; how then can we rely on these kind of people to safeguard our lives?!

God pass them, shameless government officials.
