Congratulations on your landing, wishing you a favorable stay.
Please i need your guidance. saw this comment from one of your posts

"I don't have a Cotonou stamp on my passport, I have my ID card and that's all I need to cross the border. Lots of people work across the border so an official ID card suffices.."

Now my question. Was this how you explained this? were any concerns raised by the VO as regards this? I took up a course in BR, though it was by correspondence, however, i had to travel to write exams which happened only over a weekend, twice a year, and didnt stamp my passports too.
Your response would really help as i am at crossroads on how to present my case when submitting.

Thanks in anticipation.

Thank you so much for your response
Newmum0615:
I typed a more elaborate response before, but somehow it disappeared with the network. No strength to type again.

Highlight of it was: You should be fine. NOC classification is a Government of Canada initiative that is also used by employers in Canada, not just for immigration purposes.
Your concern should be ensuring that the NOC duties and lead statement matches your actual job duties. If na by that one, a lot of us here won't have NOC to use for our applications. Most VOs will be familiar with the peculiarities of the Nigerian labor market. I guess it's medical personnel that should worry about this one. Cos I don't see any VO believing that one is a doctor with only a degree in accounting.

Hello everyone,
I am at the reference letter gathering stage, My NOC is 1221 Admin officers as my job suties fits this. However, on the CIC site, i found this clause(The Bolded) in the employers requirement for this NOC

Employment requirements
Completion of secondary school is required.
A university degree or college diploma in business or public administration may be required.
Experience in a senior clerical or executive secretarial position related to office administration is usually required.
Project management certification may be required by some employers.

I understand that for those requirements with may i.e 2 and 4 can be overlooked, while those with usually are often compulsory.

Now my concern is i do not have a senior clerical or executive secretarial experience in the past. Can this be a reason for rejection is there an alternative NOC i can use? Newmunm0615 and others please help. Thanks in anticipation.
