Where is the place of governors in security?
Is the entire security apparatus of Nigeria not in the hands of the FG?
What has changed, from Anambra to Niger, Kogi, Benue, Nassarawa, and now Oyo?
Abi police no be federal again?
Military and Paramilitary no be federal?
Let's give the people you defined as "clueless" the Federal might, let's see if banditry and terrorism will continue.
At least they are not sympathetic to the terrorists. That's a good start. Ignorance reloaded |

JuanDeDios: My post was in connection with the report in op. Maybe they're wrong or they lied and an actual primary was held. Maybe you're the one lying with a made-up document. That's a different matter. But I know this is too complex for you to understand. So go on with your victory dance. My friend, you categorically said "Mr Matthew did not lose any direct primary to any common people. He was DISQUALIFIED by APC people in their "screening". " i showed you official proof from the people concerned. i hope Peter Obi's havoc on you people will not be eternal. |

Jeezuzpick: Tell me where your village is located. If it's anywhere in the NC, SW, NE, NW, even parts of SE and SS it can be overrun by bandits if APC continue in office. Me, o, I will take clueless people who will not allow innocents to keep on being slaughtered with impunity.
All it takes is to replace "rehabilitation" of terrorists with public trial and public execution by firing squad, and everywhere will become peaceful again. What we're seeing right now is the proliferation of terrorists due to the absence of real, painful consequences to mass murder, as encouraged by this government. Na so e easy to drive trailer with mouth. Atiku and Obi held public office for 8 years, we saw how terrible they were.

YesDaddyTill203: APC is having direct primaries while other parties are doing selection up and down. With all the defects in the primaries, it's still better than those that are doing selection and imposing candidates. With time, the process will get better. Obi the Agulu caon has never participated in a primary before. always looking for freebies. They are practicing na. That's why they win. It's what is called grassroots, on ground. Not online, consensus with glossy pictures. Plus most of the other parties no wan spend money now. They're waiting for election season bribes. |

SouthSouth1914: Mr president in more interested in playing commando style politics than delivering on his campaign promises. Only those interested in stomach infrastructures or ethnic affiliation are willing to stand on his blokos which is alright! Tinubu doesn't even look like someone playing politics. Most of the bold things he's doing now are actually things politicians do in 2nd term. He's not really doing like he has an election next year. Like i said before, maybe because of the very low quality of opposition. |

JuanDeDios: Mr Matthew did not lose any direct primary to any common people. He was DISQUALIFIED by APC people in their "screening". So have been countless other hopefuls – "the common people" only get a chance to vote for you if the governor and his henchmen don't screen you out. That's what I asked about. So why do you now say I'm complaining about "when common people vote"?
Your matter, ehn!? You should be apologizing but of course, no.

The fact that they defected doesn't stop them from bringing dividends of democracy to the people they represent. After all, they all get constituency project funds but no, since they now dine with the powerfuls, they forget their people.

As usual, i was hoping to see a superior solution or advice on solving the problem than what is being done. i didn't see any. It's very easy to criticize anything, even God. What do you mean by nonchalant behavior and lack of responsiveness? Terrorists are being hounded, arrested and killed every single day in Nigeria. This is the keg of gun powder we've conveniently sat on for decades. We should stop politicizing the fact that it's blowing up on our faces and face the issues squarely instead. |

During campaign season in 2022/2023 he barely said a word. Nyesom Wike took him to all the local governments and was campaigning like he was running for 3rd term.

That's expected with the electoral reforms. The only way he could have escaped it is if he had truly connected with and worked for the people he was representing. When we tell you that your governor, senator, LG councillor and chairman have a part to play in governance, you insult us and say we must blame Tinubu. Every popular person that doesn't join you to curse and blame Tinubu is a sell out. No brake, no jam, no sense. |
