narite: Either of those two are a far better choice than what we currently have there now.
If we are being honest, Tinubu should be in an elderly care home with 247 adequate care with closed access to his loved one’s. Not running or should I say, carried around!!
This not hating or anything, I am speaking from a position of respect and being very objective.
Sadly, our selfishness make us lose what is important and the selfish people around us pretend not to see this so as to rapidly foster their own selfish desires.
i will indulge you because you mentioned being objective. Where did you see Tinubu carried around and how has no athletism hindered him from doing his job?
Rotimi wey jog around stadium that year for Jagaban beating. Make e deputise for Atiku, i need thorough beating from Jagaban for all of them. Nobody must run or hide.
Rapmoney: Why are you so timid? Anyone who talks about Nigeria's issues is automatically a Peter Obi supporter to you. I rather argue with a child in Pry 3 from a village school than argue with you. Bye.
You're so pained that i mentioned the Pit Obi, even a Pry 3 kid would notice. Run along mr timi.
onatisi: The man tinubu is not mentally stable . You jumps from one sentence from another topic to another within secs,he can't concentrate on a particular subject or topic for more than a minute ,doing that stresses His brains . The verdict is that he not mentally fit,no wonder he his policies has been inconsistent
Rapmoney: You must be living in delusion and falsehood. You need to be checked properly because I don't see how someone like you would cope in a civilised society where things are done based on merit and needs.
That you cannot engage in meaning discussions without mentioning the names of one aspirant or the other shows how low some of you think.
It's clear to see how bitter the truth about Pit Obi is. You don't want him touched, so touching. Meaningful discussion wey no want truth about him fav.
Rapmoney: I created a thread to discuss reflective issues, but the best thing your brain could help you do is to convert the issues to small talks of party politics.
i didn't mention any party. i pointed to how Pit Obi has greatly changed people like you to bitterness and hatred for others.
Rapmoney: Shift immediately with your tribal talks. If you do not have anything meaningful to contribute, you can swerve to the next thread. Everything to you people is cheap politics and ideas of unnecessary hatred.
Explain how it's tribal talks mr shift. You don't know the damage your fav has done yet. You'll understand soon enough by God's grace.
Iamdbull: And you had the audacity to create a thread where you were praising the president
What exactly is wrong with you people for God's sake? Democracy is not cultism. That you support or vote for someone doesn't remove your rights to criticize him or even change your mind and oppose him. You guys keep giving us vibes that you'll never say anything bad if your favorite was in power and you'd shut down and up any mouth that spoke against him. Na wa oh.
Odewaleadesoye: Today is Children’s Day but many Nigerian children are not celebrating. They are living in fear instead of joy.
Insecurity is getting worse. Kidnapping is now common. People cannot even travel short distances without fear. Every journey feels like a risk. Every phone call at night brings fear.
Families are not at peace. Parents are worried every time their children leave home. Students are afraid. Workers are afraid. Farmers are afraid. Nobody feels safe anymore.
Life is becoming very hard. Food is expensive. Survival is difficult. And yet the fear of insecurity sits on top of everything like a heavy weight.
Government at all levels should focus more on protecting lives and property. Not politics. Not 2027. People are suffering now.
Please and please, help free these children and their teachers.
No child deserves this. No Nigerian deserves this.
We need safety again. We need peace again.
Not to downplay the insecurity and kidnap issues. Just BTW, these pictures are not from Nigeria and were reported online as far back as 2020.
Pit Obi and insecurity largely happened. That man's ambition has done immense damage to many young minds psyche. i remember that video of him saying he's going to six burials and has packed his food. That guy tore any religious and tribal fabric laced together before. As for insecurity, the chicken has long come to roost. Irresponsible parenting and religious banditry have yielded fruits.
DeepSight: Image123, Seunmsg, security is improving right?
i actually said that we're making good progress. It's a little bit different from improving. If there's no road from point A to point B. i can make progress building one at 30% completion. That's progress. The situation has not necessarily improved. In fact, there might be a lot of dust, traffic and unease in the environs while i am making progress constructing the blocked, inaccessible road.
DeepSight: Whatever sympathy I had for Peter has evaporated with his recent selfish actions.
Bola could really have done without a few infamous acts. The manner of subsidy removal was too brash and harsh, the timing of naira floatation was ill considered and all things Chagoury will always smell rotten, not to speak of Atiku Bagudu.
But if you remember the kind of storm that was raised over Chibok girls, what excuse is there for the same thing to be happening time ten, twelve years later? And if you look at the statement by Oby Ezekwesilli you will see that in fact the problem has escalated vastly. No, sir, there is no improvement in security.
As for Chibok issue, it was more like a sort of climax, or straw that broke the camel's back in the GEJ time. People have since 'gotten used' to that kind of event, albeit unfortunate. It's like seeing blood or accident the first time, and seeing it many more times. Another important thing was the initial denial of the GEJ government which was contrary to Shettima's(Borno governor then) cry out. Plus, we had a well 'packaged' opposition then, compared to the jokes parading themselves now. We're making good progress in the fight against insecurity, especially with boko haram and most of the north stroke herdsmen crises. South east is also better. Kudos to Ribadu and his team. The issue of state police is also on the table which, i think, is a big plus. The major problem now are the bandits/kidnappers. It will also be solved. i understand it's quite lucrative and easier compared to the others. i hear people even kidnap themselves these days. All of these have deep roots and i sincerely don't think anyone of the other prospective presidents would've or would fare better. It's not like the solution is a call, visit or bullet away.
But no worries, you are an old paddy here so you gas some rights. .
Make i use some rights na, thanks. i remember the video from the picture below during fPMB. i remember during GEJ's time also. As regards insecurity, i think we're making good progress and will make more. It's easy for terrorists and bandits to pick on soft targets, irregardless of who is currently in power. We hope the issues can be solved. As for economy, we're out of the tunnel which was not exactly built by Tinubu. As for other areas, and the areas already mentioned, i still believe none of Tinubu’s competitors come close in competency, capacity and experience.
ichuka: Dude, if one is a Christian he is period, Trabalism has no room in Christianity. Just ask the Holy Spirit. Most of your statements are raked from it.very disappointing. Dude I schooled almost all my life in the south west. If that spirit of trabalism isn't broken among us.then most of what we have among our Christian gatherings especially on Sundays is an affront the the Cross
Chuka, a man from Kaduna lost primaries to another man from Kaduna. i commented and you said i allowing tribalism to supersede Christianity. Okay, explain how because i didn't even mention any tribe or religion. For reminder, here's what i said again in quote.
That's expected with the electoral reforms. The only way he could have escaped it is if he had truly connected with and worked for the people he was representing. When we tell you that your governor, senator, LG councillor and chairman have a part to play in governance, you insult us and say we must blame Tinubu. Every popular person that doesn't join you to curse and blame Tinubu is a sell out. No brake, no jam, no sense.
Now, instead of you to rationally and reasonably explain yourself, you're asking me to ask the Holy Spirit. You schooled in the South West, the spirit of tribalism, etc. It's better you don't even talk if you don't know what to say.
DeepSight: People like you and Seunmsg and Image123 are wasting your energy telling lies to Nigerians because everyone including yourselves feels the negative difference brought about by this govt. And the vast majority are clear in their minds that this govt is no good for them. No amount of talk changes the pain of the cost of living, the power situation or the unspeakable security situation. Most of you only parrot what you do as a result of ethnic chauvinism. Nothing more.
Bola is likely to win next year, but that's no result of popularity for sure. A mix of the stupid division of opposition and rigging will ensure that.
Like Trump supporters, I urge you all to just enjoy. The weeping of Nigerians under this insensitive govt will not last forever nor can Bola rule forever. A day will come when he will go and then you can revert to criticizing whoever is there even if he is doing better.
This is saying a lot without saying anything. No specifics. Leaders should ensure justice and followers should support them. What does that mean in Nigeria?
Hez143: My dad used to tell me "don't argue with an idiot, they'll bring you down to there level, and beat you with experience" since it's not a bad news about the country, they'll look a way to twist the narrative #naija I'll be great again
Sowore my man, steps down as AAC chairman and is adopted as AAC consensus candidate. Will go back to chairman after election. i saw his party delegates yesterday, like secondary school symposium participants. We joke alot in this country.
Imagine all these educated ones will leave Jagaban to support rubbish. It's same good news with stocks, oil and gas and other companies. You see all the business who is who following Tinubu like mtn and you expect they'll allow people who only know cursing to take over. See Elumelu, Dangote, Otedola, Rabiu. You know economy pass them, oga tank.
All these no reach wetin developed countries owe na. Like has been said many times, it depends on what you are borrowing for. Borrowing is not a competition.
