bigiyaro: you have a head, use it. What are high emissions vehicles? Trucks, tankers, trailers and big bodied vehicles mostly used transport of general goods etc. And people like you would think, a truck owner /driver would pay tax and not add it to the cost of transporting yam from taraba state to Lagos and yes, na de ordinary poor Nigerians go still suffer and pay the tax indirectly . Lolz, na today? Don't worry, poor Nigerian, they'd never increase cost if they're not taxed. SMH |

Critical thinking is what you lack Errmmmmm, you somehow assume that the people to pay this tax are people with access to the national resources? That's critical thinking? So they'd take national resources to pay into national resources. SMH |

iukpe: Why not fund, construct and complete one project at a time. It's ok to plan so many but let's get one done properly in record time then move to the next. 5 effective and completed projects within a tenure is better than tens of them at different stages of work at the end of tenure. And the lives of millions of people should pause until it reaches their turn? Imagine for example, doing it alphabetical order, which year anything go reach Zamfara. Or what metrics do you suggest for this turn by turn thing? |

You'd expect HRH Sanusi to answer this. School different from street. Sanusi see am for book, na the street be this. Pevious administrations squandered golden opportunities for Nigeria to prosper.
Jonathan administration especially enjoyed oil boom and earned $300 billion.
That was our opportunity to industrialize and blow up , but the money ended up in private bank accounts.
We're borrowing $516 M now , but Jonathan's petroleum minister , Diezani Madueke-Allison alone disappeared $20 billion.
Till today that money can't be found.
From my post last night you could see testimonies from Central bank Governors Soludo and Sanusi plus Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala saying that,
"Whoever would takeover from Jonathan in 2015 would suffer because he will have no money to run government."
Remember, all these three served in that government and they had this testimony about it?
Let me tell you, whoever tells you that if he becomes Nigeria's president today he won't borrow, that person is not being honest.
What miracle is he going to do?
If you don't have money , how are you going to finance projects?
Unless he's going to do what Peter Obi did in Anambra - keep money in the bank and do no major transformational projects.
Play baba Ijebu Economist.
Is this what we want?
You could see what Tinubu needs this money for?
A major highway linking Lagos and Sokoto -northern business Axis.
This road is linking products to customers.
This is why I tell you to pay attention to every move Tinubu makes. See the sense in them.
I tell you that this road will finance the repayment of that loan before the end of one year.
The biggest road revolution in this country is this Badagry-Sokoto and Coastal road.
They'll blow up Nigeria's economy greater than anything you've seen.
I support Asiwaju with my full chest. A leader who makes moves that matter.
Even when the moves are unpopular. https://x.com/i/status/2047798046516224443 |

RolexOfGeneva: What can a minority do in the midst of a majority? Have you listened to yourself? What are they doing now? Was there not a time APC was minority? Was there not a time Tinubu was minority in APC? What can minority do? They can speak out instead of playing to the gallery on TV stations. They are all good friends, they can lobby, they can point out issues in sub committees and on the floor. There are minority leaders and heads of committees. Till date, no so called minority senator has objected. It's easy to blame others for incompetence as opposition. |
