PoliticsRe: Atiku Faults Counting Of Unmarked Ballot Papers, Demands Electoral Act Amendment by Image123(m): 5:57am On Apr 24
themanderon:
The bunch of criminals at the national Assembly quickly cooked up a law that will allow them carry out all manner of electoral heist including removing fraudulent certificates as a basis for election petition and sent it to our president who is not known to be of impeccable character to sign and everyone is just watching.
The rigging has already started. People just don't know it yet.
Quickly since 2022. What were your favorite senators doing, creating content?

Too many challenges in Nigeria make attention and memory span short. Let me remind you.

In the 2026 electoral reforms, the House of rep and the Senate’s approval of both manual and electronic transmission options sparked public backlash, protests, and pressure from the opposition members, civil society, opposition parties, who feared it could weaken electoral transparency. In the end, Akpabio and his gang had their way. Tinubu went on to sign the amendments to the 2022 Electoral Act into law within 24 hours. The whole processes were shenanigans hurrily done to hide loopholes.

Tinubu is an emperor who wants to have his way at all cause. He has succeeded in destroying our institutions.
There's a time BEFORE your frustration, that's the point. Why are you just discovering or waking up today that there's a section 64 that is dangerous? BEFORE Tinubu, a process started since 2022 according to you. It went through various stages and committees for years. The point is not the hours it took Tinubu to sign, but were you sleeping since 2022? Were you sleeping till yesterday? Like your friend asked, "Why did Atiku and other ADC leaders fail to work with their lawmakers on the Electoral Act when it was in the NASS before it was assented by the president? Why did they not galvanise public opinion against specific provisions, in addition to getting their party senators and representatives to vote down the provisions?"
Where was the outcry, or pointing out the danger or lobbying to remove or amend? Didn't they sit together, or you don't understand how a democracy works? Clutching at straws when you see your imminent loss and failure and blaming Tinubu is not a sustainable strategy. It doesn't work.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Faults Counting Of Unmarked Ballot Papers, Demands Electoral Act Amendment by Image123(m): 4:52pm On Apr 23
WorkTheTalk:
The same process that forced many governors, senators, rep members to decamp to APC, is the same process that decides what happens in the House of Rep, the Senate, the INEC, the Police ect.
Once the minority raise an issue, there are either ignored, shortdown, or lebelled.
There's something called information, there's another one called lobbying. There are minority leaders and heads of committees from the different parties. Most of the opposition prefer to play to the gallery and do content. Why didn't you raise alarms and inform your party stalwarts on new happenings? Failure only has excuses.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Must Prioritise Education Or Risk Falling Further Behind – Peter Obi by Image123(m): 5:39am On Apr 23
AsomughaChuks02:
But when Peter Obi was governor of Anambra state, he told us that education is not for the poor as he tried to justify the astronomical increase in tuition fees of university students and the outrageous amounts that mission schools were charging pupils and students. He left state-owned primary and secondary schools in dilapidated conditions as he wanted to force most people to use the expensive privatized mission schools. Whenever Peter Obi mouths off this type of sweet nonsense, they are usually laced with unbearable levels of hypocrisy.
He repeated it using different words, "Education is not charity;".

What is the definition of free and fair elections? Why do you think others are afraid when you're extremely scared it's so obvious?
PoliticsRe: Out Of 106 Senators, The APC Now Has 87 Senators by Image123(m): 7:25pm On Apr 22
The sore losers will tell you that these 87 senators only have 87 votes, and that Nigerians will decide the elections. Are these 87 senators from Mali? Are the state governors from Chad? Why do the online warrior losers think they are the only Nigerians?

meobizy:
Public executions will be the solution to this kidnapping crisis. We should go draconian like the military era: public executions for armed robbery (with solid evidence), kidnapping and terrorism. Add corruption to the mix. Africans were a no-nonsense people pre-colonization. The white man brought their justice system which could afford a guilty person freedom if cards were played right.
This is fully supported.

If they present the president's son as their party candidate, you'll change goal posts again. These are heavy wailing signs.

tesseract:
You sound like a broken record. If a referee is a known supporter of a particular team, he has no business officiating a match involving the same team, his bias automatically dims him unfit to officiate. But I guess you don't know that.
Wrong and cocky as usual. In professional sports, what matters is not just actual bias but perceived impartiality. Referees in most cases are to declare affiliations. Usually, they are not assigned to matches involving teams they support or have ties to. Oversight systems (match assessors, VAR, disciplinary reviews) exist to detect bias. That's just an analogy BTW.
In government, the legal framework constitutionally tries to ensure neutrality, but it doesn’t assume that every official has zero past political exposure. They must not be active members of political parties while in office. The system relies on checks, monitoring, and public scrutiny to manage bias risks. It doesn't bar people with past political leanings.
Again, political leaning has not been established. It has been denied. Even IF the electoral official(s) has, it's not illegal. Be reasonable and factual.

We are watching to see how INEC wants to wriggle out of this mess.
A mess created in your imagination. One, it's likely a false accusation. Two, it's not a crime IF true though doubtful as he wasn't INEC chairman at the said time. Anybody can shout up Madrid or up Liverpool. It doesn't disqualify him from being a referee. But he mustn't show partiality or favoritism AS a referee. Three, he was approved and confirmed by senators from all over Nigeria.
Back to one, it's likely a false accusation.

As per INEC staff being members of political parties there is a reason why they are SCREENED so that they do not handle elections tainted by that bias and are no where close to the election process
Heck from Humphrey Nwosu,Maurice Iwu and even the incompetent predecessor of that post, none and i mean NONE have displayed such blatant support for a sitting president.
Again, what do you base this so called blatant support on? Have you asked Grok also?
