Christianity Etc › Re: Is Rapture Real ? by Image123(m): 6:12pm On Oct 28, 2024
The rapture is the catching up of the saints of God to meet Jesus Christ in the air. It's the next big event in the plan. It'll happen in a moment, it can happen anytime. It's not dependent on your dream or when you had it, it is dependent on God's Word and God's time.
You don't want to miss, but if you unfortunately miss it, make sure to not take the mark of the antichrist or serve him.

Why not? Are you lying? The important things, i verify. A past that is of no value to me, why should i not take your word for it? i am a gentile and i know that gentiles were treated far less than Jewish amputees. But He said that i can come, that matters to me.

Except growing the limbs of the man that was born without them.
But looking at scriptures, God is not big on having complete body parts as compared to eternal life.

Mat 18:8 KJV Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

He the Creator knows that a human being can still do the vital things in life nonetheless.

It doesn't have to be an exact replica .

Section 251 of the Criminal Code Act in Nigeria. Bringing contempt on uniform
Any person who, not being a person serving in any of the armed or police forces of Nigeria, wears the uniform of any of these forces, or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the regimental or other distinctive marks of any such uniform, in such manner or in such circumstances as to be likely to bring contempt on that uniform, or employs any other person so to wear such uniform or dress, is guilty of a simple offence, and is liable to imprisonment for three months or to a fine of forty naira.
https://jurist.ng/criminal_code_act/sec-251
It has the appearance but there's no contempt seen here.

It is failing because current APC government are filled with clueless corrupt individuals.
Amnesty that was granted by Yaradua to Niger Delta militants did not fail.
The problem in the East is political and can easily be resolved unlike bokoharam that is fighting a religious war.
You are not well informed, sorry. The Niger Delta crises was/is about compensation, that's why amnesty had some influence/relevance. Yaradua didn't solve anything. We all remember vividly around 2017/2018 when Buhari was constantly sending Osinbajo and with Ibe Kachikwu. They sorted major militants like Tompolo and Asari among other things, that's why militancy attacks abated. Their fight has been about crude oil and how their communities are neglected financially and ecologically. So paying them money and jobs makes sense in a way. Boko boys, ipod, herdmen are not primarily fighting for money or amnesty. Even at that, the problem in the Niger delta is still on. Nigeria cannot produce as much crude oil as it wants due to consistent vandalism and oil theft, illegal mining and sales. Only militant attacks abated.
Explain how very easy it is to resolve the problem in the East aside from dashing an Igbo man the presidency that some funnily say. How don't understand how and why Igbos will kill fellow Igbos because they are not president. So kindly give another reasonable action(s).

And the people of Northeast are not on the side of Bokoharam?
I remember during Gej time when Gen Ihejirika was dealing with them the whole Northern elders including Buhari started shouting genocide against the north were you not born then?Didn't Buhari said war against bokoharam is war against the North?
Did it stop FG from applying carrot and stick approach?
Amnesty might have failed eslewhere but it have never failed in the East before until it is tried there.
Like i clearly said, amnesty failed in the North East, i am yet to see where it worked. We're still dealing with the North East problem till tomorrow. So why do the same thing and expect a different result just for the sake of doing it?

Excuse me for that typo. The FG haven't done enough to combat insecurity in SE.They should do much more. For example the carrot approach should include amnesty to repentant IPOB militants as it was done to Niger Delta and Bokoharam militants and all out military action against unrepentant ones and engage leaders of SE leaders for political solution to the Igbo problems in Nigeria .
We both agree that the FG should do more for insecurity in the SE. The main problem is that the people and elders of the SE are on the side of the criminals. Amnesty has not worked in Nigeria, i don't support the opinion that amnesty should be given to every criminal organization. Bandits amnesty, killer herdsmen amnesty etc. No. It creates more criminals looking for amnesty and getting away with crimes in the long run. Boko haram is still there, amnesty didn't solve it. SS issues also were not solved by amnesty though it helped a bit here, i guess because their main fight was settlement. They felt money was going out and they and their land was suffering for nothing. Their ideology and reason is different from that of Boko boys or ipod. Every time FG steps in with military action in the SE, there's always cry of genocide, being unfair and how Nigeria is killing our children unjustly. It's a catch 22 situation. Most SE leaders wish secretly for some kind of Biafra without the obvious consequences. They sponsor and brainwash the people HEAVILY.

The federal government should use carrot and steak approach if you know what that means.
Lolz, i don't know what carrot and steak approach means. Thankfully, the government has already employed the one i know (carrot and stick) but it's not worked so far. This involves reward or punishment. Usually, efforts by the government to do positive things for the South East are usually rejected, propagandized and bullied out. The usual chest beating and calls for rejection are what we hear. People rejoice and raise you to hero for rejecting the carrot, or bully you and tell all manner of tales so that you don't accept the carrot. The recent destruction of an higher institution, and the frustrations that went into building the 2nd niger bridge are some examples. The stick is being used for terrorist Lamidi who instigated the deaths and wanton loss of peace and property in the SE. For a man that should be shot at sight, i don't know the bigger carrot you want than giving such a man bail.

Your baba way down half Nigerian GDP? Lmaooo
Oh, you refer to the president? No, he's not my baba, he's the president of Nigeria. Nigeria's GDP can be looked at in perspectives of half glass full or half glass empty. In 2014, at 184 naira to a dollar, GDP was 110 trillion naira. Today at 1600 naira to a dollar, our GDP is 320 trillion naira. The government can foolishly decide to rebase and peg dollars to 600naira. Your number will immediately jump back to over 500 billion dollars and biggest economy in Africa rubbish chest beating. The sane question is, what is the cost? What do we want? Any one that had C5 in WAEC economics knows and understands what would happen when we finally found the bravery to follow the advice of floating the currency and removing subsidy. It's not the blame of any baba. It'll happen if any human being took the decision.

Nigeria government likes the destruction by IPOB going on in Southeast and want it to continue that is the reason why they are reluctant in finding lasting solution to the problem.
Suggest a solution that has not been tried. The FG has tried giving him bail, it didn't work. They tried bringing in the army, people cried wolf and alarms. Let's hear your solution.
