kingxsamz:Lolz, it pains you so much. Don't make mummy run from one police stattion to another, it's avoidable. There are no eggs in detention my dear. |
Snowx:How do you label a protest "days of rage" and call it peaceful protest? Who is leading your protest? Nobody wants to take accountability for that, headless mob. In 2012, we know the people that led the protests and they took full responsibility. They protested in their states and in front of their homes and businesses. They knew how to control it and when to stop it. Same cannot be said today. Even Falana who used to run mouth on your behalf, said he cannot join the protests as it is headless and without real motive. |
kingxsamz:A word is enough for the wise, but you have always shown online that you are not wise. May God help mummy. |
Lezzlie:Was it NLC strike that accomplished minimum wage increase? Capital NO. It was a needless and mindless protest in the midst of ongoing negotiations. It was negotiation, consultations and joint agreement that achieved the increase, which by the way was already promised by the FG before NLC came up. |
Learn from 2020, learn from Libya and Sudan, learn from what is going on in Kenya and Bangladesh. Only fools will keep doing the same thing and expect a different result. The government has just increased minimum wage by over 100% and it's to be paid from April, May, June and July. It didn't take protests or burning down the country, grounding the economy and looting. Edit. Permit me to quote Reno Omokri below this morning. Everything here was done without protests, destrcuction and looting. More is coming. Before you allow them deceive you into thinking Nigeria's situation is like Kenya's and protests are the only answer, do consider the following: |
How would day of rage not be violent? Who will make it non-violent? All the people calling for protest are distancing themselves from responsibility and personal participation. They already have scripts and excuses ready about hijack. |
Stories. |
12 strokes for late comer. |
Dangote ke, for where? A display of every man for his pocket. |
kingxsamz:Lolz, Samuel you sef wan join protest put your mummy for trouble ke? You'll do jail oh, better maintain your lane and don't bring the foolishness offline. |
Remman:A bill passed at separate sittings by over 360 lawmakers from all the states in Nigeria? Who are the themselves? Who asked your party's lawmaker to be sleeping at home during the session? Or he/she was tied when the decision was made? Increasing the retirement age of police officers from 60 to 65 years and their tenure of service from 35 to 40 years. Doesn't that affect all police officers? What is wrong with passing a law to revolutionise police operations by enhancing accountability, modernising policing methods? What exactly do you people want? |
There was a time we celebrated Nigeria and Nigerians without all these tribal low self esteem and desperation. |
Egoveen:What suffering? We're already going past the "suffering" stage of removal of subsidy and floating of the currency. Economically and financially speaking, we're only looking up as it is, except some fellows decide to sabotage the country and pull us back because their preferred candidate is not in Aso Rock. Do you really imagine that it's protest that will end suffering? Give some recent examples. Is it protests that move other nations forward? What are you protesting for? Has the presidency not continued to demonstrate a listening ear and change without protests? |
liver123:Myrmydons can only resort to insults, it is expected of you not to reason. |
Digmygold:Use your brain. |
amazingspiderma:Your right stops where you infringe on th rights of others. |
Digmygold:He has no problems, you do, so can you tell us what exactly your problem is instead of being irrational? Asking me to ask someone else for what you want doesn't sound very smart. |
Egoveen:If you have any accomplishment in life, you will be afraid of such protests. Obviously you have nothing to lose so you don't care what others lose. Nigerians lost in the 2020 protests, we don't want a repeat. We are not blind to what happened in other parts of Africa like Libya and Sudan in the name of right to protest. We are not blind to what is happening in Bangladesh and Kenya in the name of right to protest. Better to be safe than be sorry. |
Digmygold:Unmoved how? How does someone move again? What exactly do you want? |
aviara:Peaceful protest by who? Everyone calling for protest is not claiming responsibility. They'll also probably not come out but be underground, why not come out with your family to protest? You don't want to face the consequences of your actions, expose your own family or control your mob. But you are happy to type from a room when government starts its own defence. Who paid for the losses suffered in 2020 endsars protest when people began to burn government property and loot people's businesses. Who will pay for this one's own. It's convenient to stay behind the keypad and heap the blame on the government and even say that the government hijacked your protest. If you cannot keep your peaceful protest from being "hijacked", then don't start what you cannot finish in the name of right to protest. |
God pass them. Those shouting about protests in 2012. The protests in 2012 were clear enough. The demand was clear and reasonable at the time, and the protest had people who were responsible and wisely headed it. It was not a protest borne out of election loss, it was not a headless protest. It was not a protest filled with senseless demands. It was not a protest aimed to cause chaos, loot and make the country ungovernable. Clear difference. If you want protest as a loser party leader, come out with your full chest, let's know. Instead of the cowardice in display. |
Olatundex22:You are very wise. |
You said? |
nna, this is a soaked slice of bread. Losers will gnash their teeth eating this. |
KingOfTheDamned:Lolz, if you are following Dangote's wailings, it is because he doesn't want their competition. He's asking to be the only supplier in Nigeria, that's the trigger of his crying. Though i agree that the response to him was harsh but hey, this Dangote not a baby in Nigeria. If you have lived or worked where Dangote's business or trucks are, you'd be surprised at this his sudden butter soft behaviour. |
KingOfTheDamned:You forgot to ask him if his friend that is taunting him has more billions than him. You guys just jump on anything antigovernment without much thought. |
After decades of gaining in Nigeria and maintaining richest black man on earth, now you are whining us. How much does your friend that didn't invest in Nigeria have? |
CyrusVI:igbere eminem statesman. |
E pain am. It seems it's not a good time to bear the name Obi. Obi lamba, Oby, Obidingo, all sounding so tribal. Is Obi and his mob representative of Igbos? Are there no Igbos in other parties and with other opinions? Last i am aware of, there are Igbo governors in APC, APGA and i think PDP. So how is holding Obi responsible for his mob an attack on Igbos? |
junaidu, why did you do that? |
