I have heard many atheists, agnostics and irreligious people mention that they started down the rabbit hole of skepticism after reading the Bible and giving it a bit of a thought.

It may not be anything serious, something as tiny as a numerical inconsistency in biblical canon can shatter someone’s preconceived notion of biblical perfection which prompts them to start asking more profound and daring questions about everything derived from biblical canon.

What made you start asking questions?
i've always asked questions and more times received answers, maybe because i'm not asking foolish questions but more of sincere questions. The Bible is inspired by God and written by men. Expecting men to be God is the chief source of your folly.

I refused to question it back when I believed. I could see the discrepancies but I waved it away so it wouldn't disturb my faith. Now that I no longer have to do that it looks so glaring I wonder why I was determined to ignore those discrepancies.
Numerical has very little to do with faith, the Bible is not a maths textbook duh. Little wonder, your foundation was always shaky from the start.
Foolishness is questioning one existence or reality because you saw a 'discrepancy' in birth certificate. Use your God given brains.

It doesn't stop anything from being done for economic prosperity. We've got a ministry for information and orientation. It's different from health or sports or finance and economy. Everyone cannot be paralyzed or go to sleep because of one important sector.

One step at a time. BTW, he's achieved petroleum industry bill and allowing states and private companies to generate power/electricity. That's a very big deal that previous governments could not do. Give credit where credit is due instead of being an ingrate.

Go and ask Tinubu, whose personal agenda is more important than national patriotism.

That's how he will wake up one day and say he doesn't like the flag that we should go back to the Union Jack and rubber stamp NASS go gree
It's more than a personal agenda. It was agreed on in 2014 confab but not implemented by GEJ then. DO you even know what 2014 confab was? All these children.

Nobody forced them, nobody is forcing us now. In fact Ozekhome who is a friend of Kanu the ipob man was the one that championed the revert at the national confab ten years ago.

There is no time frame to good things taking a while to occur.
Removal of subsidy is never a bad thing but comparing our prices with that of other African nations is wrong. We do this comparision only when we want to take from the people but when its time to give them what's is due we start kicking them on their goads.
It's abnormal for a Nigeria to first remove subsidy because of those who are benefited from it without first putting the nation's refineries to be operational and functional. The PH Refinery is yet to be working and with no substantive date of operation. We are being told they want to build another smaller refinery close to it. Na laff I dey laff.
The KD Refinery was not built to refine the Nigerian crude but the Venezuelan crude and over the years. So we have refineries not functioning with staffs there in. I guess many of these staffs are children of the high class.
OBJ once said , e go better.........no one knows when that time will truly be seen.
Good things are hard to come by, unfortunately. Also, some forces will never allow the nation's refineries to function if there's subsidy. It's like the rumors about some people making sure electricity is never better. Refineries problem like Ajaokuta and electricity problem didn't start today. They've been here for decades. The government will try to solve them, of course there'll be resistance. Nigeria will prevail by God's grace.

If the waters are troubled and the results befitting of good benefits are coming forth and those who are the followers are getting the benefits then it is a, well done. We are yet to see true positive change in our economy and development. What we have is superficial artificial thats why anyone can come on board and erode it with just one lousy policy.
It's not a question of IF. The waters of fuel subsidy and currency flotation have been courageously troubled. The previous presidents didn't have the gumption and bravery to. It's usually a matter of mouth and easy opposition point.
The positives are not going to be felt immediately by the masses. It's immediate for the government because they were the one paying. What's clear though is that the reported volume of importation dropped almost more than half. No such free money to waste again on some group of corrupt importers. Nigeria's fuel price still remains one of the cheapest in Africa. Removal of subsidy is very painful for the common man and i don't take that lightly, so i'll not talk 'hardly' or jokingly about it. To see lasting positive results will take a while. But it's a good step in the right direction. It cannot get worse than it's currently being except there are saboteurs who want to make the government fail. If everyone is patriotic enough, we're almost past the worst phase.

Certainly you have such powers and that I do know.
That wish is what will bring about the needed change, it will only take time and with the writing of new laws, all those who had held elective and gotten appointments in the old system will not be allowed to take any of such positions given the new system to be practiced. New blood , fresh ideas.
Humanly speaking, only President Tinubu, in agreement with the over 300 members of the legislative arm, and the cooperation of the judiciary have such powers. Sorry, i don't.
As for your wishes, i doubt if the president will go that lane except in his 2nd term. He's obviously dared to trouble many waters already, which many including you are not happy with. Or maybe another person can build on it from 2031.

Since they thought of reverting over to the old national anthem that they met.
I guess they also met the regional system of government and the regions giving to the cente and not the way it is now.
I think its high time the nation return back to that kind of system only that in this arrangement let all the States be let to control their natural resources with possible the FG having a 5% stake, the SG a 25% stake and the LG 70% stake and both the SG and LG will give some form of tax return to the FG.
Let States within a particular region come up together to form an alliance and do a road map that will promote their economy. The respective River Basin Authorities will be restructured to be more suited and same for the NDM and NDDC can be merged with a definite mandate.
Same can be replicated within other geographical zones to suit their environment and needs.
Uhhmmmm, i don't have such powers. Also, be careful what you wish. Most governors and local governments have over the decades shown themselves to be as corrupt and clueless if not more than the Federal. The madness in many states over the years has been staggering, though under reported.

Will the national anthem change the looting and deception of the political class, will it bring about an increase in minimum wage, will it stop police brutality, will it stop election rigging and ballot snatching, will it stop politicians from buying votes and all manner of cajoling, will it reduce banditry, kidnapping and herdsmen and farmers fighting, will it stop political appointees from behaving arrogantly, will it make the judicial system to be an arm of government that all can trust and not only those who are the highest bidders, will it make the political class of former regimes to return back stolen wealth, will it make all of us to speak the truth irrespective of bloodlines and ties, religious association, tribes, political affiliations all these free from things that permeate our sanctimonious and pontificating lives.
i don't really know. What i know is that this is obviously not trial and error. Tinubu had all these in mind. Stick to the point, i am not the cause of your frustration, don't pour them all out replying me.

How can you tell whether something is designed? When you look at mountains, the course of rivers, sand dune, waterfalls and all the magnificent physical features on our planet, what about them tells you that they are the works of a god and not just any god, the one you believe in?
Oh, so all the life you see was not designed? You just suddenly have mammals, birds, plants, heart, teeth and sperm. You must have a lot of crazy faith to believe that.
