Image123, hope you have seen another feat? It's not by building new school and renaming it, it's all about quality control and impact. Anambra have that at their finger tips.
Every state in the South has one award or the other. i have explained several times, winning random awards once in a blue moon cannot be tied to the work of a governor that ruled about 10 years ago. Where is the consistency? Where is the competition? Where are the public schools that the government is really in charge of?

JuanDeDios:
John the Baptist did the work of a prophet. Abraham was not a prophet in the classic sense. I mean, all the patriarchs before Moses (Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Job, etc.) were all priests since they performed animal sacrifices on behalf of their families. But they weren't necessarily prophets. Abraham, while not a classic, crusading prophet like Moses, Elijah or Isaiah, heard from God REGULARLY and was shown future events. So if we abandon a strict construction and take on an expanded definition, Abraham was a prophet. Isaac, however, was not. Unless I'm missing something, there's no biblical basis to say a prophet's son is a prophet. Moses's children certainly weren't designated as prophets.

Yes, prophets aren't the standard for conduct for Christians (only Jesus is) but they do serve as examples. Just like Paul, James and others. I think the idea of referring to them is that if they did something and God didn't condemn them for it, it means God didn't have a problem with it. Sounds reasonable.
Isaac heard from God. i didn't refer to him as a prophet but since Oshoffa's son thinks he is a prophet because his father was referred to as one, Isaac gets a slot, too. All the scriptures serve as examples, including the patriarch Isaac, not only prophets.

Young Man, Peter Obi never said he has finished governance. He never said he has built all the schools in Anambra, the same way you people are always painting Tinubu to have built Lagos to finished. He has told Soludo that he has done his little as a trader, he expect him as a professor to do those things he has not done yet.

On that we are all agreed, Anambra is far from where it should be in terms of development and standards. i don't know what your obsession is with Lagos or Tinubu. i don't recall bringing him into the discussion as you have attempted doing different times.

You see, when you compare what is obtainable at your backyard with what is obtainable at another man's backyard, you're bound to misfired and misrepresented. Anambra have more of religious and community schools than public schools, hence when Obi came and wanted to revamped the existing public schools, he met a brick wall in the bureaucracy of government and all his investment when not seeing because those he was giving the money to were embezzling it. I won't spoon fed you again, because I have already posted the interview granted by Peter Obi on the same issue to you here but you still feigned ignorance of it. This was what made him to look inward and started investing on the existing religious and community schools available. Those religious and community schools that were dilapidated and needed additional structures, those ones with nursing schools dilapidated and not registered, he revamped virtually all of them, registered them and handed them back to the owner. Not only that he equipped them with modern technology, gave each school social amenities and powered them with generators, with additional buses to each school. He did not stop at that, he recruited more qualified teachers and retrained and retrained them.
This was the same model Obiano followed all through his 8 years and it paid off for them. Soludo has also keyed in the same reform.
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://www.vanguardngr.com/2023/10/soludo-gives-n1-524b-to-missionary-schools-in-anambra/amp/&ved=2ahUKEwiIuMCIneiFAxW5XEEAHbYGC0QQFnoECBIQAQ&usg=AOvVaw1UG7yBt6_jD0X5hiukbkbW
They have been receiving this grant yearly to develop their schools and cushion their salaries. That is the model that have helped the state since the time of Peter Obi and his successors keyed in.
Same model is also adopted in health.
What is all these stories you're saying? You're telling us that Obi the governor could not have any effect on his own state workers. In frustration, he looked outside. Ask them in Lagos, how their civil service was changed/transformed. By the way, missionary schools have always been externally funded/subsidized for centuries. It's not an Obi idea or Tinubu idea. It's common knowledge that Lagos state was the first state to hand over mission schools back to their real owners as far back as 2001. You don't want to guess who the governor was. So if that's what you call the Obi model, it's dead on arrival.
Brings us back to the point. Governor Soludo has informed you of the obvious. Most of these random awards are for private schools. The public schools are in a pitiable state. Or Obi didn't give the public schools any money for 8years? Soludo gave money, Obiano gave money, Parents association gave money, people have been donating money for decades. But we must swallow that it is Obi's money that is working. SMH.

You see another diversion tactics. You people are the most backward set of people. We are discussing impact of Peter Obi government in education but you went to import another topic entirely.
Well, since you people are like chameleon and unstable like the wave of the sea, I will take time and tutor you.
An investment is a risk taken. When Obi invested in Anambra brewery, he did it and left the stage. If the investment worth nothing as at last year or there about that Soludo said so. If by count, that should be over 10 years down the line. Reasonably the fault cannot be from Peter Obi. Obiano or Soludo should have monitored the investment and see to its progress and if not progressing, the needful should be done. If Obiano or Soludo did not divert the investment into a profitable venture, that cannot be the fault of Peter Obi because he is no more the governor neither is he a godfather nor a witchcraft.
Come to think of it, it is the same investment that employed hundreds of Anambra sons and daughters but a man said it is worthless. I hope he has pushed those working in the company to labour market, so that we will be so sure it is worthless as he said.
Again, how many companies in Nigeria now makes a huge return because of the bad economy imposed by the FG. Are companies not folding up? How many companies or investors have come to the country in the last 5 years, just because of the excruciating economy imposed by the APC regime.
He made the investment in good fate and it was a good investment before and shortly after he left, that it not doing well can never be his doing. It's the economy reality that is telling on it and not because it wasn't a good investment.
You can only try but you cannot water down Obi achievements in Anambra, I have told you and I will continue to tell you till it sinks into your number 6. This pull him down syndrome you have taken as a profession, is a good thing, you will see the repercussion.
The poster below was after he said Peter Obi investment worth nothing.
Soludo says, it made him cry. Obi and past government neglect made the current governor weep like a baby. Keep sticking your head in the sand like an ostrich. See the stinking hypocrisy. Something bad that happens 10 years down the line cannot reasonably be Obi's fault, but good things that happen in the private sector 10 years down the line are the achievements and legacies of lamba champion that we are trying to wash down with pull him down. Take up a career in clownery please, you seem to have the gift.

Secondly, the train project is mainly in a different ministry, ministry of transport. Roads is under ministry of works. They have different ministers. We had a super active minister in Amaechi for ministry of transport, probably why he drove more progress there. He was probably the best minister in the last government.
Also, funding can be a main issue. The road project will have a lot of private funding support.

i stay where the Bible stays, simple. If the Bible doesn't give what you call a strict construction for prophet, who am i to? Who is a prophet? Was John the baptist a prophet? Was Abraham a prophet? Probably not in the sense that people understand. But God called him a prophet, so why should i say otherwise?
When did prophets become the standard for polygamy?
Abraham's son was Isaac. If Oshoffa's son thinks he's a prophet because they called his father one. Why should we exclude Isaac the son of prophet Abraham?

On Isaac, so every OT patriarch was a prophet in your book? Interesting position.

Wait, so when Moses married the Cushite and Miriam started to backbite him, you believe it's Jethro's daughter they were talking about?

If you say Haggar wasn't a wife, that's a very narrow definition of wife you have, which is fine. What's important is that Abraham had TWO women at the same time and had kids by them (which is what polygamous men do). He agreed to the arrangement and that did not affect his relationship with God. But what's really important is that MOST prophets were polygamous and God was find with it. Therefore, this is really just an academic debate.

In the NT churches, there must have been Christians with multiple wives–and nowhere were they cast out of the church. That's why Paul had to intervene specifically in the case of leaders (bishops and deacons), saying only with men with one wife should appointed.
The thread says No Prophet Married Only One Wife In The Bible. That is what has been proven wrong. i did not come here to tell you not to marry many wives. What is the definition of a prophet? Was Jacob a prophet? Does the Bible say when Moses married the Ethiopian? Can someone backbite about something that happened over 30years ago? i heard many people do that about our politicians. Backbiting is not limited by time.
The Bible somehow forgot to call Hagar as Abraham's wife, but consistently referred to her as Sarah's maid. i am convenient with sticking with the Bible's 'narrow' definition.

Stop this trash you are writing! This is the first time Nigeria is winning it in 32 years. The World Affairs Challenge, was organised by WorldDenver. It empowers high school students to develop innovative solutions for the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
CKC Onitsha’s journey started at the African Regional Competition, where they were named the highest-scoring Nigerian team and the top five in Africa. The team proceeded to pitch in the virtual global finals and following a rigorous evaluation, the team’s in-depth understanding and passionate delivery during the final Q&A session left a lasting impression.
Good to see that you have the data. Can you send the list of schools or countries that won it these 32 years? Also, was there Nigerian participation these 32 years? Thanks.

Mr. Man, Anambra state is not like your state, mind you I am also a Yoruba man, before you start seeing me as Igbo. Most of their schools and hospitals are owed by religion groups and community efforts. Government give the religion community grants always and help them to develop them. Many at times they even collect the schools and hospitals, spend on them and then hand them over again. If you use what is obtainable in your community to judge peculiar thing in south east, you may score owned goal.
For Obiano, the political enemy of Obi to come out to say, Peter Obi did wonders in health and recently Soludo that wrote an epistle about the business established by Peter Obi government to have worth nothing to have come out to say, he has continued in the education reform of Peter Obi, that should tell you something you didn't know.
Yes, you may blame Peter Obi for not aggressively improve the Anambra IGR but you can never blame him for not improving the health, education and security of Anambra state during his tenure. He invested heavily in the three sectors and got both local and international accolades.

Read below the reply of Peter Obi on the strike. Read it keenly with pure heart and not with bias mind.

"Peter Obi Speaks On His Tenure As Anambra Governor
Speaking during a live interview with Nigerian Youtuber, Adeola Fayehun, on Monday, the former Anambra governor said that although the strike lasted for about 13 months, it did not affect a lot of people that were sick.

Obi said he was attempting to bring change to the hospitals and schools in Anambra by reviving the dying health and education sector which was the center of the industrial dispute.

He said, “It’s an issue I don’t want to discuss, our hospitals were not functioning, we tried to fund health facilities, it wasn’t working, there was strike in education too, we tried to fund our secondary schools and primary schools, it wasn’t working, so we decided that we have to have alternatives when I got to Anambra State, there was no single school of nursing that was accredited, no school of midwifery, no school of health technology – all these were not there.

“The hospitals were in bad conditions, same was the schools, we were putting money and we were not seeing the results, even bought ambulances, they disappeared, so I said no, we have to have an alternative. So we returned schools to the churches, the original owners, and say ‘we will fund you and of course, we saw the results, we moved from number 26 to number 1. The same thing happened with the hospitals, we built 10 schools of nursing, midwifery, and health technology but not through government”

The former governor went further to explain how churches that owned schools were funded and resuscitated and accredited thereafter.

He said, “For example, in Iyienu being owned by Church of Nigeria, they have the school of nursing, school of midwifery and school of health technology, we funded and resuscitated it and it was accredited, we went to Onitsha, Waterside being owned by the catholic church and Borromeo, their schools of nursing, school of midwifery, we resuscitated it, they were accredited and are functioning now.

“We went to St. Joseph Adazi, their school of nursing, school of midwifery, school of health technology we resuscitated it and it’s working. We went to Our Lady of Lourdes in Ihial, school of nursing, school of midwifery, school of health technology, we resuscitated it and it’s functional.

“We even worked with one of the Church of Nigeria bishops that were very committed in health issues, Bishop Ikeakor, and set up in Amichi Hospital, we built school of nursing, school of midwifery and school of health technology, these are schools that are there.

“So, in doing this, I had issues with the established bodies because they saw it that I was now doing things to the private sector. For me, the result was important and that was the issues

“During my governorship, I had strikes with teachers, doctors, different groups, but it was trying to change them from being what they used to be to what it should be. When you bring change, you will have enemies – all those who live off the old order.” he added.

Recent award says otherwise:
https://punchng.com/anambra-school-emerges-winner-in-global-competition/?amp
Big facepalm. Winning random awards is a prerogative of almost any state in the South of Nigeria. Just google [color=#990000]() school emerges winner. In the bracket, put any state of your choice. ResultS will come out. There are hundreds of thousands of competitions that Nigerian schools(especially private schools) apply for. We win these awards every other year and month. It's not a proof of who is better. There is NO consistency there. How do you claim to be the best when every state has a school with an award of its own? And how do you prove that Obi is the reason for a random award in 2024? What happened to 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023? How many Nigerian schools participated in such a competition?

Whoever read this your write up will be see that you hate Obi and you want to trivialize all he did. His effort is yielding fruits and will continue.
Fact remains that there is no prrof that Anambra is number one state in Education in Nigeria. There is no proof that Obi made them number 1. These are the issues.

Abraham and Moses had more than one wife. Isaac was not a prophet. But, of course, there were prophets with one wife. The fact, however, is that most of them had more than one.
Names or Bible verse?

Comedians. Apart from New Testament men of God, off the top of my head, i can mention Abraham, Isaac, and Moses. Except they don't qualify as prophets in his view.

Let me help you add the below line as to pepper Image123 very well as he has refused to use his common sense.

Soludo attested to Peter Obi exploit in education by saying he will continue with Obi's education reform.

You can further feed your spirit with goodnews of Obi exploit in security Mr. Image123:

You may say but teachers and doctors went on strike. Yes, they went on strike because of greediness but the two sectors never suffered. He asked them to account for the money he gave them for education and health but they could not account for it. He was wise, he began to develop all the dilapidated missionary and community schools and rebuilt all abandoned nursing schools and reregister them by using religion leaders. Today Soludo kept to the same style, as the religion leaders are less corrupt.
So, you can jump from here to Jupiter, it doesn't take away his exploits in those sectors. Stop lying and crying.
There is nothing to pepper me if there is good governance in any state or part of te world and country. It's only right to ask for proof when you make claims. Governance is not faith where people just believe. These guys are men, not God.
If you cliam that Anambra state or any state is the best state in something, then show us the basis for the conclusion. You claim Anambra is the best state in Education, due to Obi. i ask HOW? How is Anambra the best. How do we tie that best claim to Obi?
Instead of showing me, you begin to "pepper" me. Are you not a clown? Sending me links of what people said. So a politician's diplomacy saying good about Obi is what we should swallow without proof? What politician has something good not being said about on the pages of newspapers. Should i give you loads of flowery talk about any of your hated politicians, like Tinubu or Buhari? Would you take/accept that as scriptures, because i see you talking about feeding my spirit?
Schools were at home for months, doctors were on strike for over a year because of Obi. And you have the foolery to say that it had no effect. What about people that suffered and even lost lives because the doctors were on strike? What kind of blind talk is this? Have you ever been to hospitals in Nigeria and had to wait for doctors to attend to you or your loved ones? Because of some mediocre repackaged politician, you are here saying YES, no problem with strikes. What a pity. i hope you're even being paid for such evil thoughts.
