Lol... Time will tell indeed, heartless souls. I work hard so I can help a lot of plebs who can no longer afford garri due to the policies of the failures u support but all you do is typed shit all day then... U have nothing good to say about this government either so shove ur enlightenment up ur ass
People spoke just like you over 20years ago when Tinubu was governor of Lagos state. Even 4 years after he was governor. Today they almost worship him because they see that he did the best of all the states.
i have always maintained that the government has to be strong enough to remove the corrupt fuel subsidy and do something about the naira disparity. i also said that it would first bite hard. It's currently biting hard and i don't take your pains lightly. But there's unfortunately no other human way.

Call this governor to order. The progress of Rivers state should be bigger than all those face me I face you fight news that's become the highlight of the state.
It's not beyond Wike and his sim that this drama is orchestrated by them to confuse everyone. But they should think of the people.

Kindly enlightened me on how he plan on building this ur imaginary skyscraper?
By borrowing? Taxing Nigerians to death? I want to know. Electricity subsidy removed yet no stable electricity, Fuel subsidy is back and almost double the amount he met it yet fuel is scarce at #850, Naira is on a free fall since Cardoso was called out for depleting our foreign reserve to back Naira, he stopped and Naira has been on a free fall since then. Insecurity is taking a more sophisticated level in Nigeria where bandits tax farmers as they like, rape and kill at will. Agricultural output is low, the economy is shrinking. So where's skyscraper going to come from? The foundation is a very bad one I wonder how it will carry it if at all.
Time will tell, you are not ready for enlightenment.

LoLz, this kids don't know anything. No wonder Tinubu easily is master and will probably be for decades if God spares his life and tarries. Tinubu is building the foundation for a better country. It's like pulling down the one story building that was there to build a skyscraper. He's digging when you were expecting him to have made a boys quarters to the building.
Similar things happened in Lagos and people were calling him names then. Today, they can see the long game. He's taken the bold and tough decisions early enough before election season.

Don't know about to closer or holier, but the citizens have one less problem than the citizens of Ketu...their pastor is not fleecing them.
If giving in church is equal to stripping of money or property by fraud or extortion, or charging excessively for goods or services. i wonder what monthly expenses are. It's all about your mindset. Who will give will give, heaven doesn't fall despite your not giving.

My church member who relocated to Calgary in Canada last month was shocked at the way their churches operate - a Catholic church, by the way. Surprisingly, they don't even collect offerings every Sunday.

Money comes in as freewill donations in huge sums and they only have offerings those Sundays they have special need for money; the reverend father would persuade and apologise to them because he's bugging them. Then, every Sunday, all sums received and spent are displayed on the projector for everyone to see. Everyone knows how much the church has in its accounts

When are we going to turn a new leaf in this part of the world and become transparent?
Does that make Calgary closer to God or holier than Ketu?

When I say Art students are dull they'll come for my head, have you seen any art student coming near top 3 in jamb? Top 100 sef you won't still see them.

Or

Have you seen any parents telling their young children they shall be professional in any of those art courses(aside law and accounting which are manageable, the rest are chere kambia courses). Aside the two courses I mentioned in the bracket, the rest na condition make people go study those kind courses due to low score in jamb.

Bye have a nice day guys.
The higher percentage of Nigerian leaders and successful people are those with Art courses. The irony of life.

The problem is that he married an insensitive and unfair woman who doesn't see he's doing enough making her see the 10% he gives as tithe as something that should technically come to her......
It's crazy you know. People blow away 100% or usually a major percentage of their salary on frivolities everytime. But the same people bitterly castigate others for giving 10% of their own money, not your own money ohh.

i read so many people here saying that the OP doesn't have sense. Yet, we can verifiably tell that with all their senses, the OP is doing better than them financially. Is it not better to not have sense and be financially stronger and stable than have sense and be wallowing in poverty and complaining?

Please this topic wants to tear the family apart.

We are doing well, each of us earns almost 85k per year, I'm in IT, she's in healthcare, and we both work full-time.
I am a Christian, I have never defaulted in tithing in the last 5 years. Not once.
She says tithing is my personal 'problem'. She uses the word problem specifically. She doesn't pay tithe.

This is the present sharing agreement, I bring 70%, she brings 30%.
This 70-30 covers the cost of living, groceries, nursery fees for our baby, and other bills.
before this sharing, we both bring equal amounts for the house mortgage and the car.
When her family needs money, she insists that we share it 50-50 based on her culture.

For my cybersecurity certifications, I pay from my less than 20%, but I have never complained. God has been faithful. My belief is that my tithe covers for the family.
The good news is that I won a large sum of money from my savings, tens of thousands of dollars. I intend to pay tithe, and channel most of the money to my professional development so I can earn more. I don't think I deserve that money I won, that money was from God.
She thinks otherwise.

What's your opinion?
i don't understand. You've been giving 10% of your money and you are progressing and earning better than 90% of Nigerians. You were blessed with a windfall and you want to give 10% and still have 90% of the windfall. What's the problem here exactly, it's hard to see.

The government has not earned enough trust to introduce this levy at this time. We understand and know the implications of cybersecurity, but the government should find money elsewhere to start this. You cannot end up collecting over N273billion from people to protect loss of N273billion. Give people strong reason to trust you first.

Even though I grew up around that area, my family house not affected and knowing years back that some day, some of those properties would go down, knowing what that stream (odo iyalaro) was like growing up but were LASG officials in coma when the constructions were going on, that the construction couldn't be stopped?
People cut corners. They'd have been warned. But someone will know someone that knows someone that will not do the needful.
You see a lot of land belonging to the government that looks like they'll never use it. People sell and build on such lands. Some even live there and do business there for years. When the government is ready to use their land, it looks like wickedness.
Same way, we use and misuse our lives that belong to God. When He comes for it, it's usually a problem.

There is nothing hasty about building a road that has been a dream for over 60 years. It was started in time because it will immediately connect the Eko Atlantic city which also includes the Dangote refinery to the country. Think big.

It's not a big deal, in terms of cost. Most of the trips were necessary engagements and have produced MOUs in the billions. We'll see workings soon. The shame is on those who lied to us that President Tinubu was a sick old demented man that had expired.
When he doesn't go anywhere in the coming years, they will still wail up different theories of how he is dead and dying. They did same with Buhari, asking to see him. When the President is everywhere to be found, na wailing. When the President doesn't show face, na still wailing. It's their destiny friends.
