Hello new mums,
I am carrying out a market research and survey for myself on a product. I sell various things from the UK (new) not used in Nigeria. I have just recently acquired a surplus stock of digital thermometers, the ones used for babies and adults. I was wondering a few things:
1. Are these readily available to everyone? My aim is to get these products to new mums for use in their homes.
2. How much are these sold and marketed to mothers.
Help, advice and feedback will be appreciated please. 1.Yes they are available 2. I bought mine for #500 in Trade fair You can supply those selling baby things or make arrangements with health centers to market/sell to mothers on immunization days 1 Like |

Happy graduation  No ... Real unadulterated coconut oil doesn't darken or bleach rather it enhances the original complexion and makes it glow.
Mofe has been using coconut oil since birth till now, skin remains frosh.
I'm not advocating because I sell but because that's the fact. Thanks ma'am I'm asking because baby chinemerem became darker after I started using it on him. please what process do you use, Cold pressed or the heating method. I used heating method for mine. |

Pls did you do anything that made you deliver at 38weeks + being a FTM cos I read FTMs usually get to their edd. I didn't do anything. Haven't even started taking long walks sef I believe baby came when he was ready While pregnant I always told baby not to exceed 38weeks and I made sure I put it in prayer too. 1 Like |

BIRTH STORY ALERT!!!
@38wks+3days
Around 11am on Friday I decided to wash since it has stopped raining. While walking to the bathroom I felt water gushing out of me. I just stood there wondering if am urinating abi my water just broke. My SIL said I should go to the hospital but I told her it was probably urine that I wasn't feeling any pain nor contractions. I sha decided to go after my second SIL called me. I jejely took my time to brush and bath. while at it my SIL kept on calling urging me to hurry up ( I was like Wetin dey worry this woman abi na she wan go born the pikin). I got dressed and decided to trek instead of entering bus since it was just 20mins walk from my house. After explaining to doctor, He put his hand into my something and brought out some reddish discharge saying I shouldn't wait for any bloody show that he took it out already. He sent my file to Labour ward saying I should call home for my bag( Labour ward keh? ) While the nurse was admitting me I told her I want to go home but she assured me that I was in Labour. She inserted the hot drip and asked me to lay with my side. SIL came with my bag then she said I shouldn't scream nor cry o unless I want to cry in each of my delivery. I was admitted by 2pm, after about an hour Na so contration start ooo hmmm it wasn't funny but I kept bearing it until I couldn't anymore. I told the nurse to call my husband for me o( I wanted him to see what I was passing through) She told me to call on God instead that my husband cannot do anything for me. if only she knew that all thru the process that I've been begging God to make it easy for me. I sha left the nurse alone while concentrating on my pains. I asked a lady I met in the ward if this is how painful Labour is but she said she don't know that she's also a FTM. The contractions started coming a min apart and I felt the urge to poo. I started shouting nurse come o I want to shit o, I want to piss o in fact I don't know the one I want to do o. she check me and said she feels the baby head, called the doctor while she took me to the delivery bed. Doctor came and told me how to push. I pushed with all my strength but he said I was just making noise not pushing. That I shouldn't make any sound but push. After the 3rd Push I felt my baby slipped out then plancenta followed. I was asked to bath while they cleaned up my baby.
It was a painfully beautiful experience because immediately my baby came, the pains vanished and I felt nothing but joy
My prayers are with all our GTC mothers . The God who made me a mother will visit you soon

Mine was 3.2kg at 37weeks,but I ended up birthing 3.5kg baby.
Just eat your balanced diet and avoid junks, God willing, you will be fine.

on Monday I made a post here and some sweet mama's adviced me,and I listened.
on Tuesday afternoon I decided to check my BP and urine somewhere close to my house.Bp was 150/115. and protein in urine was 3+,immediately I called my gyn and he told me to come to the hospital that evening, DH got home from work and took me,we arrived by 8pm,my BP was already 190/115 and 3+ protein in my urine(thats preemclampsia) I was admitted immediately, given drugs,injections and drips to reduce the BP and be set for C.S.on Wednesday morning, by 6.30am my baby was brought out.
My lessons from my experience is that Pre-emclampsia is terrible,it can happen suddenly without notice, all preggy mama's please regularly check ur BP and protein in urine,if you notice any change in ur system,hospital straight. If the doctor Say's C.S agree.
On Wednesday evening. 12 hours after delivery, I had serious convulsion my BP rised to 210/115, I almost died,my baby cries kept me awake(like she knew something was happening),But God who gave me my child gave me a second chance,and his spirit were with the doctors who did all their best to keep me alive.We are still in the hospital,till I recover well. Congratulations on the birth of your little one. please how do I check protein in urine ? |
