Christianity Etc › Re: Is Daddy Freeze The Problem With Nigerian Christianity? by IMASTEX: 6:52pm On Nov 26, 2017
Jsaviour:
They will do eye as if it they are blind when they see this your truth. In my own church, they won't wed you, dedicate your child or ordain you if your tithe card is not updated monthly (tax collectors things). I left the church the day the pastor said if you don't pay tithe you will go to hell. What arrant broad daylight robbery. These men are scammers.
Imagine. . .
Sometimes they forget that if Jesus wanted everybody to be a Christian by force. He would have done that during His presence on earth. He made things so simple. He preached love, mercy & salvation, offering choice at the same time. Well, I blame everything on poor governance in Nigeria. People are left with hopes and prayers to accessing the basic need that ought to be their right. The pastors know people don't read the bible and they seek after magic. So, they sell the gospel to them in form of tithes. Threat is implore to achieving that.

maybe the reason why you are not yet more than how you are now, is because you don't tithe
y not try it (The bible said, Prove me if I will not open the Windows of heaven....) and see the difference
It is called principles of giving and receiving. God doesn't bless selectively. Else, God wouldn't be making rain touch some people's compound. Whether you call it tithe, offering, gift, seed, etc. As long as there was a giving to the church "man of God" or to the needy. God will certainly bless the giver. If you give tithe to the church and you're bless. Give %10 to orphanage homes and see what blessing is really about.

I never use to pay attention to Daddy Freeze but recently that changed.

He is not against christianity...but the dubious acts of so called selfish pastors and the brainwashed members.

I stand with him on tithing.

I rather buy things, come to the Church give with to the needy than pastors that will take my money to build his personal empire and gucci shoes.

If we are to go very deep in this starting from the Genesis.. you will be shocked who the bible said to ..." this Commandment is to you, all you priests. ....let me just stop here.

Read your bible, understand the words there and follow it not the twisted, sugar coated words of most pastors they use to their own advantage.

As a Christian Christ should be your role model not pastor.

Freeze still beating them 10-0.
You have spoken well. It was when I carefully noticed that the most important things to most church pastors were: population and finance over salvation of the members, that I started to align my thought and action towards personal understanding of the bible. On the issue of tithing, how can i be recording what i decide to give privately to God in a tithe card, how would a church member be demanded to provide tithe card as the criteria to accessing some services in the church? I.e. wedding, help, etc. What difference is it to other social association? A friend traveled to another state, his pastor back home was calling him to update his tithe card without caring to ask of his present wellbeing and when he replied the pastor he has paid in his present church, the pastor started convincing message on why he should be sending the tithe back home. Funny enough, the same person was just telling me he had nothing to eat. We were both laughing at the scam. Where is the teaching of love that is the main message of Christ?! The present churches have lost it. It is now a Christianity of competition instead of complementing one another as Christlike. I implore everyone to give just 5% of their income to orphanage homes, help pay bills of those in need in the hospitals, attend to that next door neighbor's children who were driven from school because of fees and see God in action in terms of blessings. They will know that the blessing gotten from the 10% given to the church is a child's play.

1. He passed the tough Test which is a major key.

2. I believe he was making a good presentation till they cut him off, didn't even let the nigga finish his presentation but were more interested in a piece of paper.
The very few slot allocated to merits are also tied to papers. Nija for you.

So selling the conscience is the best thing to do? When politician spend heavily to get elected, you think they will owe anyone any obligations to how they rule?! How do you think a more credible person with less money will indicate interest if the system is based on cash and carry.
