Pls try and get my post well. I didn't book from wakanow.com, i only checked their site to av an idea of the cheap and affordable airlines and wen i did i saw dat emirate was around 147k plus on wakanow.com so i went directly to emirate office(not agent) and i got it for 150k plus

It's a one way ticket and there's gonna be stop over @ Dubai but it's just 4 a little while before connecting to Houston. I didn't use agent @ all... I went straight to emirates airline office after checking on www.wakanow.com and discover it's d cheapest 4now. Another factor that helped is dat i booked for three weeks down meaning i'll be travelling in three weeks tym.

I got to the embassy, at about 5:10am and waited till they called in 6.30 non-immigrant and 7.00am immigrant visas and did the normal process of document submission and got in to pay my visa fee and then I sat waiting on my number to be called.
To be honest I cannot remember the window I was called to after a couple of hours but behold it was this cute and nice gentleman that the lord sent and he started with the interview.
CO: Are you Ata......
ME: I mmediately completed my name for him and he smiled.
CO: Please sign your DSP form, did the oath taking and finger print stuff...
ME: Did all required.
CO: what's your highest qualification?
ME: BA ........
CO: What year did you finish?
ME: Told him the exact year while he was going thru as I answered each question.
CO: What have you been doing Since you graduated?
ME: Told him, couldn't get a job so I worked with my mum and eventually opened a boutique, made him understand I wore pretty much what I sell so he smiled.
CO: Have you served the NYSC?
ME: Yes I have and told him what year.
CO: What was your primary assignment about?
ME: Told him was secretary to the local government between my year of service and my duties and he smiled as usual.
CO: I will give you ur visas, brings out 2 forms circles one part for visa collection and the other for USCIS payment.
ME: Thank you.
It was not what I prepared for but what I expected and prayed for. Remmy488: Broda u don't need to go through dt rigour, when I went for my own transcript february I told dem I wanted by handy bt dey insist I give them a US address in whch I gave dem my destinatn in US and it ws addressd to dt place bt I still got it by handy even wt my own copy of d transcript bt I gave dem smtin oooo pls I will advice u do dt cos u don't hve a wrking place yet neither hve u got admission in any sku whre it is required so I advice u get it by handy. By d whch sku is dt cos I got mine in less dan 2wks in OAUm

For doz of u dat wnt to pay dat 165$ for green card processin,u can pay wit ur Master card,Visa card or any credit card provided de card is valid nd is sufficient enough to dispense cash...I jst paid mine via ma host nd I hav my printed out receipt handy nw.Also Emirate Flight booked nd print out ticket wit me nw,flyin out real soon,cheers!

Hi broda... How much did u book emirate and how did u go about the booking? I also guess Texas is ur POE? Already in Lagos and planning to go for my booking and emirate is also on my mind. About the visa card, can it be issued in nigeria or is it until one gets to US before one gets it? Thanks

jidex001: From wes.org . They said transcripts has to be sent directly to WES by the institutions attended (http://www.wes.org/required/index.asp) and most school don't give out transcripts to student. how do you think that could be possible for him to make photocopies

and also these a form to be filled. which has to be attached with the transcript (place the form and academic record in an envelope, sign and seal the envelope across the back flap, and send it directly to World Education Services at one of the addresses below)

Going to my former sch to get my transcript but it won't be issued if i don't provide where it will be addressed, i'm aware of this cuz i had d same prob sometimes ago wen i requested for it. Where do u guys advice i address it to? Just want to av it wit me in case of any unforeseen circumstance in US dat will require d need of my transcript. Will it be ideal if i address it to WORLD EDUCATION SERVICES? If it's ideal, do anyone knows their official address? I've searched thru their website but couldn't lay my hands on their address.
