I was told to bring my passport in and to pick up my visa. Thank you Jesus!!! the nightmare is over. My case was sent to administrative procesing Jan 15th and I got a confirmation that they can issue my visa yesterday Monday 25th it took 5 working days.
Today I realized no matter how old we get, we will always be full of joy and happiness as soon as we have the support of our friends and family,ALL THANKS TO THE MASTER PLAN.BABA GOD!.

joeonye: Hello house,my wife is the principal applicant and our interview has been scheduled,pls do I need to bring document in regards to education and work,or just my wife or am I just there top prove we are truly married.

Same case wit mine. I'm was d principal appliant and my wife d beneficiary. D only thin dat was collected from my wife was her police report, medicals, NPC birth certificate and International passport. All her certificates from sec to bsc to professional certificates were not collected, only mine were collected and her being there was only to prove d authenticity of our marriage. I'll however advice dat u go there wit both ur certificates and dat of ur wife as each dv case is always unique in some ways. To u as d beneficiary, it's better to go there wit ur certificates and return them home dan to not to go with them and be requested of them, do a little study too but lay more emphasy on how to prove dat ur marriage is genuine.

Normally medical expires in 6months... I said normally if there's no health prob and to my understanding if one's medical expires close to one's interview, say 3months and below, d CO will make mention of it as i've heard or read cases where CO asked applicant to make sure they get to the US before so and so date cuz of their medical expiry date dat iz very close. I stand to be corrected anyway

I av d same prob too even up till now and i've gotten my visa. Even up til now i cant access my mail from any computer cuz i can't remember my d answer to my security question but i can only access it from my phone. When i wanted to access it thru phone months back and couldn't then there was a place dat said i should log in thru facebook and wen i did, i was able to access my mail only on my phone. Mayb u should try this too and if u're stil aving d same prob, don't be bothered since u av ur confirmation number wit u so i'll advice dat u keep checking d dv lottery site at regular intervals expecially whenever there's release of 2NL

That was exactly what i did for myself and my wife and i had extra change on me that covered our travelling to and fro Lagos. I'll advice anyone who wants to do d same to be very sure dat d dollar is not fake ooo cuz it's better to go wit naira than to go wit fake dollar. If u av no reliable source to change ur money, then pls go wit naira.

since she'll stil be pregnant during interview, u're good to go by my previous advice. Another thing is dat going by ur post, she is going to give birth around two months after ur interview so u av to make preparations so dat u leave d country before she gives birth if not u may av to go thru some other procedure or even going back to d embassy if she gives birth here to be able to go wit the child

I put on my forms all starting from DV application online till forms sent to KCC that my family name is my grandfather name (3) not no. (4)..

Is it a problem or its ok ?

There's no prob broda... Same thing with my case and i av my visa already... I used four names like A, B, C and D from dv application and for sending my forms too though d reason being dat soon of my credentials carry 2 names like A and B, some three name like A, B and C and some three names like A B and D and d four name was what kcc contacted me wit even with my interview. The only advice is make sure ur international passport, NPC birth certificate, police report and medical report carry d four names. Wherever d space provided is not enough, use d first and second names wit d initials of d third and fourt names. That was what i did.

junkerhill: u ar one of the invisible members of this forum. My brother I doubt if there is any other u can do abt it. Just go and get ur visa, wen u ar successful and have gotten to the states, u can then file for her to com. Any other thing aside this might jeopardize ur chance of getting the visa. Correct me if I'm wrong forumite.

There's on cause for alarm bro, my wife was 4months pregnant @ d tym of our interview too, i'm d principal applicant and we gat our visas already(i even entered as single but got married before d result was out and so requested for change of status and sent my wife's form 230 along wit mine). They never expected ur wife not to be pregnant @ any point in tym if u're married and that's y it's good to do ur medicals between one to two weeks before ur interview as it will definately confirm ur wife's pregnancy and other health conditions. My only advice as regards this is dat if she has not given birth before ur interview, pls make sure u know how many months old the pregnancy is and also know her last date of monthly flow cuz u could be asked. I was asked d two questions and confirmation was made from my wife separately but i think it's was a test to know if she is truely my wife and if d marriage was genuine sha cuz i entered as single and later added her.
