Spice up your life.

Relationship and sex becomes VERY boring when you only make it happen in just one place.

Be creative, try something new outside the bedroom.

A dirty babe is a dirty babe no matter the size.

Good hygiene doesn't have anything to do with size whether small, average or large.

So maybe we need to ask where you meet your big boobs and butts gals that are dirty and where you meet your small & average gals that are neat.

Just curious.

BusinessKonga Mall Merchants To Start Paying #2,500 Monthly Membership Fees by iMerchant(op): 8:57am On Feb 13, 2016
HARD TIMES AHEAD, CBN WARNS NIGERIANS…SAYS LOW OIL REVENUE TO LINGER that’s the headline news of The Punch Newspaper on January 27th, 2016. But today’s post isn’t about the central bank’s warning but about Konga Mall.

If you haven’t been following the news lately, please allow me to quickly update you that Konga.com recently sacked ten percent (10%) of its workforce on January 15th, 2016 and twelve days after the massive layoff, Konga.com founder and CEO, Sim Shagaya, was asked to resign by the company’s investors in Amsterdam after a meeting.

Need I tell you that now is the worst time to be jobless and also a very terrible time to start importation business without the basic understanding of the business dynamics?

The Federal Government need money to fund the budget therefore all government agencies and ministries are looking for money. The Central Bank have imposed fifty naira (#50) for every one thousand (#1,000) deposited into your bank account. The same CBN is also promoting financial inclusion in Nigeria.

In case you missed the memo or you are not aware what is about to hit you as a merchant on Konga.com, please find below the good news from Konga but bad news for merchants’ on Konga marketplace (Konga Mall):

Dear Seller,

Konga Mall is introducing a flat monthly membership fee. This will help ensure we continue to provide quality services to our merchants and discourage those that seek to tarnish our collective reputations.

What to Expect?

• Starting March 1st 2016, Konga Mall sellers will be charged a monthly fee of N2500 on each store across all categories.

• Newly registered sellers will also be required to pay the monthly membership fee from the date of store registration.

• Konga Mall sellers will have exclusive access to discounted everyday services across different industries.

• You no longer have to compete for visibility and sales with ridiculous prices put up by unserious sellers.

• Filtering out less committed sellers from the platform leaves more store and product visibility for credible sellers to increase sales.

Kind Regards,

Your Konga Mall Team.

BusinessRe: How I Made Over N1 Million Naira Monthly Sales On Dealdey by iMerchant: 12:25pm On Jan 27, 2016
2sex:
Well, I am aware of people make that kind of money selling on DealDEY but if you would be willing to answer these questions without holding anything back, then I would say you are a rare being just like ymodulus.

Now let me ask you this question... Note, it's not a must that you answer since you are doing this out of freewill and not getting paid. But then, not answer would only mean that the purpose of this thread has been defeated or that you had other agenda, at least that's what would be read.

1. How do you research HOT, FAST, IN DEMAND products, something that will sell pretty fast... That is, what gives you the confidence that what you are about to import will sell, what are your thought process when searching for these products? we all know virtually everyone buys from.aliexpress, 1688

2. When you receive orders, how do you send it to the buyer, what is the name of the logistic company that you use or would recommend? Does distance of the buyer affect you? Does DealDey have drop off point like Jumia and co?

3. How do you get goods at cheaper rate? Are you a member of group buying and splitting?
The OP (DealFinder) don answer your question but permit me to add this to it:

1. I did like to answer your question but I really don't wanna reveal too much. HOT, FAST and IN DEMAND products varies according to environments, states and region. You also need to understand word like FAD, Trend, Season etc when you are sourcing for products. Also I will advise you play to your strength when sourcing your products. I can tell you fast selling products to import and you can still end up making loss importing or buying it because of our different skill sets. If you have not start yet, do a little home work within your environment but if you have started, how many products do you sell and which one sell fast among them. The OP sell different products in 3 categories. All the categories are money maker in any environment. I can't tell you but if he choose too, that will good of him. His product categories starts with F, S and A.

2. On Konga, you drop at nearest K-Express Centre, On Jumia, you are either on Pick Up or Drop Off. You can only drop off your Jumia Orders in the Hub you used in processing the Order. If you choose Ikeja Fleet, Ajah or Surulere Fleet will not process the order. Only Ikeja Warehouse can process it. The main and cheapest shipper on DealDey is FEDEX for nationwide delivery.

3. Research product price before importing your products. If you don't do your homework before importing it, its too late.

DealFinder:
I won't disclose my store name on this thread. One of the major areas I'll focus on is sourcing your products. I will show from experience the things to look out for when sourcing products to sell.

Showing my store will also show my products and I prefer those interested in selling online to go for their own products because Dealdey tends to favour those who sell unique products, or relatively uncommon ones. However, if what you seek is evidence, I'll address it.
#Smiles.

Like I said I am here to just read comments.

You need not show or tell us your store, I already know it.

Your Konga Store is on Vacation.

The DealDey store start with O and you also have another moniker on Nairaland that started with F.

Selling products and services online have become possible due to the proliferation of online stores and platforms. Prominent among them are Jumia, Konga, Kaymu and Dealdey.

Being active on these platforms now for close to a year, and I can confidently say that anyone can make a reasonable income selling on any, or all of them. You just need to do your home work, and I'm sure you'll be making monthly incomes that compare with those working in multinationals. Yes, I can boldly state this cause this is my experience.

Before I go into the nitty gritty, I'll like to include a piece of statistics I discovered while doing research for a client.

' Nigerian Internet Usage Stats

Nigeria is currently ranked 7th in the number of internet users globally. With over 92.6 million of its population having internet access (about 51.1% of its over 182 million population), there is still room for growth and increased internet penetration.

This is in line with the projection of Nigeria's Ministry of Information and Communications (as at June 2015), that the country would have 76% broadband internet penetration by 2020.

A significant number of these internet users are teenagers and those under the age of 30. Fuelled by increased accessibility and affordability of internet provided by Mobile Network providers, internet enabled mobile phones account for about 80% of internet access devices.

With about 49% of Nigerians without internet access, there's still massive growth potential. Especially if you consider that within 2000 and 2015, the country experienced 46,250% growth in internet users.

NB
Internet users are defined as persons who accessed the internet in the last 12 months from any device, including mobile phones.'

We're looking at a potential market of about 92.6 million people, ie the total number of internet users in Nigeria.

I'll pause for you to take in this information before continuing with the next post
I am here to read comments.

To learn how to make more money and to also know the op store name on these platforms.
BusinessNigerian Currency (naira) Has Fallen by iMerchant(op): 11:41am On Jan 13, 2016
According to The Punch Newspaper, Monday’s stoppage of foreign exchange sales to Bureau De Change operators by the Central Bank of Nigeria failed to lift the naira on Tuesday as the currency (Naira) exchanged for 300 against the United States dollar in Kano, 290 in Lagos and 292 in Abuja.

Mini Importation business owners went into a freeze and complete seizure when the breaking news hit the headlines of major news publication in Nigeria about the Central Bank’s plan to stop the usage of Nigerian issued Debit (ATM) cards abroad in 2016. Many people start preaching that everyone should stop importation business and switch over to exportation business because crude oil our only source of getting foreign exchange (FX) as a nation is dwindling.

According to NairaMetrics, The Central Bank of Nigeria explain here, why it’s healthy and safe to stop the usage of debit cards issued by Nigeria bank abroad. The NairaMetrics Blog also explained here and here, what the ban of selling FX to BDC means and why CBN need to prioritized these four needs above any other in 2016.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald (Business Day), RBS has advised its clients to SELL EVERYTHING because the global stock market could fall and crude oil price may go below $16 a barrel. The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) credit team said markets are flashing the same stress alerts as they did before the Lehman crisis in 2008.

"Sell everything except high quality bonds. This is about return of capital, not return on capital. In a crowded hall, exit doors are small," it said in a client note.

Now you understand why Nigeria 2016 Budget (The Budget of Change) went missing from the National Assembly because our crude oil revenue assumption in the budget of change was based on $38 a barrel with a daily production capacity of 2.2 million barrels per day.

SHOULD WE ALL START EXPORTATION BUSINESS

It is no longer news that Nigeria beloved local currency - Naira - has been on a continuous descending trend since mid-June 2014 when crude oil price embark on a shattering crash which effectively end a 4-year consecutive run of $100-plus oil price.

The Central Bank of Nigeria in Nov. 2014 devalued Naira from #155/$1 to #168/$1. According to CBN, the official devaluation of Naira became inevitable as a result of reduction in government revenue from oil production and sales. The development was expected to increase the volume of naira available in the Federation Account but sadly three (3) months after, the Central Bank of Nigeria devalued Naira again from #168 /$1 to #198 /$1 in Feb. 2015 and in July, 2015 Naira was trading at #243/$1.

So you get the gist, we can’t all abandon importation business for exportation because we can’t produce everything we need internally. Even the so called developed nations are into importation business and if you need to know, the most profitable company in the world, Apple, the maker or should I say seller of iPhone, iPad and Mac, is into importation business (Don’t worry, I will explain in the next post so you get the full picture).

IMPACT OF NAIRA CRASH ON IMPORTERS (MINI OR LARGE)
A friend who is also into ecommerce business recently update her BBM status message “Dear Buyer, please be reasonable when pricing our product.” I laughed and almost roll on the floor when I saw the update but she was absolutely right. If you are into direct face-to-face sale of your imported goods, you will understand and relate to her BBM status update.
We are all - Buyers and Sellers - affected in the free fall of our currency (Naira).
The effects of Naira free fall on Importers and Customers includes:
- Reduction of purchasing power for salary earners.
- Increases cost of living
- Worsening consumer spending power
- Increase shopping costs for mini importers.
- Increase the cost of goods.
- Increase in the cost of imported products.
- Increasing in the cost of shipping imported goods
- Major international airline increase their airfares.
- Increase in interest rates to fight off inflation
- Naira became weaker against other currency.
- People with huge sum of Naira saved in bank accounts loss value

The major implication of Naira free fall on mini importers and ecommerce business owners is that it erodes customers’ purchasing power because cost of living is increasing thereby worsening consumer spending power which hurt ecommerce business sales badly.
Our customers who earns salaries have lost more than 40% of their take home because of Naira crash. A customer who earns 100k a month can only buy 55k worth of goods with his/her monthly 100k salary, so you understand why they price like they do.

HOW CAN PEOPLE INTO IMPORTATION BUSINESS SURVIVE
The best way to survive and thrive during these period is to source your products smartly, cut cost of shipping, and start targeting customers with goods they can actually afford.

The moral of this post is that starting an ecommerce or importation business is not as valuable as having relevant information about your business, market and customers.

Oya, come and contribute your own

you are welcome. Before I buy any goods for resale online, I check the shipping costs firsts it helps me determine my profit margin
You are doing it wrong, Ma.

Doing that doesn't REALLY mean you aren't overpaying for the item.

Do your research before going online to buy.

Sometimes what looks like a good deal with FREE shipping might not be profitable by the time it landed in Nigeria except you aren't selling online.

The reason I don't buy in Lagos is because all their items are common due to mass production. When u buy from china, buy what isn't common that when u bring in to sell u can add more money since people will see Ur things being different and unique.

Though I ship from US, but I believe I can still make a resourceful contribution.

For those of you who import from China, you will duff your hat,cap abi na beret you wear grin when you hear how much it costs us to import from US/Canada & Europe, if you are a mini-importer. In most cases, our selling prices are higher than those importing from China; but on a personal note, there is a way I go about it, which makes my prices be on the same level or even lower to that of China importers, and with added advantage of superior quality smiley.

One thing is that I import high quality products ( Even those that were made in China meet US quality control standard) which gives me the confidence to add mark-up profit to my cost price and those who need the good won't resist it.

Secondly, I try as much as possible to import a lot of different goods at a time (even those things I need personally) to absorb the shipping fee. For instance if I buy footwear, watches, shirts; I may also buy radio,mini-speakers etc which have lesser weight and are lower in price. By the time the shipping fee is spread on all these items, the cost becomes lesser, which makes the unit prices of each good lesser to the local price or on a par.

Thirdly, I take my time to watch out for deal&offers on the websites I buy from. This gives me the advantage of buying quality products at a very good price. Bro, if no be dem shipping charges, customs duties and GTBank exchange rate, I for don acquire my own plot of land for Eko Atlantic City cheesy In this our importation biz.

But I bless Jah! smiley We are doing fine. If I ain't doing fine, I won't get a local investor who has never met me face-to-face; and yet believed in my dream and invested in my business. This same importation business of course!

On a last note, I lay emphasis on the quality of the goods and the country of origin, which actually gives an edge.
Big Boss, your boy they hail oooo.

How business, hope the ministry is moving forward.

Please preach it to the op jare. Quality products lead to sustainable business because when your customer are happy with their order, only then will they come back to buy now and even refer friends to shop from you.

If your customers never come back to buy more because their friend or family steal the previous one they bought from him, he his not in business yet.

I dove my hat. Make I quickly go attend to customer jare.

Hello everyone please I need your advice and encouragement on this mini importation business because i am really facing problems on this importation biz.

What I found out now is that the things I import are always cheaper at lagos

Because my first order was 30 watches and after buying them I found out that they are even cheaper in lagos than importing them because I want to sell them on wholesale price.

My next order was tummy slimming waist trainer for women. When I received the samples I said let me go and look for buyers that will buy it on wholesale before importing them
When I got there I found out that my price is higher than lagos price.
Even the price I bought it is higher than lagos price not to talk of adding profit.

please how can one really make money from this mini importation biz?
I am buying from 1688
Please help me with a solution to this problem or is there anything I am thinking wrong?

The goods are always cheap in china but when you calculate the total cost price of the goods and shipping fee, you will found out that is very expensive when compared to the price of lagos.

Then you will start saying that buying from lagos is even cheaper than buying from china. So now, what is the big deal on importing from china or uk/us when we can even get it cheaper in lagoshuh?

Info marketers will always show you the prices of the goods in china but they will not include the shipping fee.
Sometimes the shipping fee can even multiply the cost of the goods * 4 and above.

Please your contributions are highly welcomed.
You have raised a valid point but my challenges with most people especially those who start importation business after buying ebooks from someone who never practice the business they preach is lack of basic understanding of the business.

I do not claim to be an expert but surely am not a complete idiot and I do think you can learn one or two things from my foolishness if you are willingly to learn:

1. In importation business, you don't make money when you sell you do when you buy
2. It is obvious you don't do your due diligence before buying stuff from china because if you do, you will not end up buying stuff from china at a price more expensive than Lagos.
3. You basically from your post buy on impulse which is VERY BAD for any business especially when you are into importation business. Your consumer are suppose to buy from you on impulse not the other way round.
4. Stop buying generic goods at expensive price from china.
5. The infact that someone brainwashed you into believing that goods are cheap on 1688.com and Taobao doesn't mean the person is 100% accurate. Believe me when I say you can get some stuff cheaper on Aliexpress than 1688.com
6. Sir, except you are a contractor who buy stuffs for other to resell, you should NEVER EVER use EXPRESS shipping for goods you intend to resell. As a good business person, your aim should always be to reduce your cost of doing business not increase it.
7. If you do your homework very well cheaper doesn't necessary mean better quality in China. Except you import sub-standard goods from china you need not worry about the Lagos price if you have a product with superior quality. Before you say anything, I have sold hundreds of selfie stick nationwide at 7.5k each when other people selling at 1.2k are yet to sell 50 pcs. Quality beat price anyday anytime.
8. Before you buy anything from china please go to your source market in Lagos first thereby saving yourself unnecessary headache. If it is cheaper in Lagos with the same quality like the one you are buying from china, please do yourself a favour, Buy it in Lagos.

Thanks

sleeksavbvy:
I work in a company that you walk in but do not know if you will return the next day due to the threat of sack pervading the air. Close friends that you known for weeks have been unceremoniously kicked out.

The prayer that nearly everyone mutters in the office is thatThis will never get to me by the grace of God. However, lets face reality, what if it happens inadvertently? How do you think one can cope with it? This economic situation we are in is not smiling for many companies in Nigeria. They are cutting cost. So I will appreciate your response. Thanks!!!
Financial Experts would suggest you have at least 3 or 6 month of your monthly expenses saved up in case you get sacked but to be candid with you that never work for me because I can't just manage to have my cash lay idle somewhere because am preparing for an unforeseen event that may happen or not.

So what I did was to start a side business which generate incomes for me. I play to my strength, I don't have much time and kinda hate marketing but I am glued to the internet so I start an ecommerce business.

Import stuff then sell them in Nigeria. I need not be present 24 hours 7 days a week because I kinda automate everything.

So if ever it happen today, I will not need to look or search for jobs again.

So my advise, look inward and play to your strength start or build a business around your strength.
