You only need to show bank statement of 6 months
To the best of my knowledge, Nysc is indeed a year and people have received PR using NySC

Thanks. Although I thought it was required to show proof that you were paid by your employer for your work experience section. This is the aspect of bank statement I am talking about. Correct me if I’m wrong though

Hello, I am currently doing my NYSC and plan to use that as my work experience. However, seeing that NYSC is not a full year and my bank statement will not show a whole year of payments and will only show 10 months, what do I do?

That's alright.

I see a notification that you emailed me, but I don’t see any actual mail. Please kindly email saying anything at all. So I can respond with my questions. Thanks in advance.

If you can meet the requirements and score enough points to get ITA, I'd say you go for it. In the end, it'll also greatly reduce the cost of your education in Canada. Look at the requirements, write your IELTS and go for it.

Hi, can I send you a pm regarding my application? Thanks

Hi immanuella3. Nysc is for 12 months. So you'll need to get a reference letter from your employer to that effect. My employer wrote the reference letter as "vcole worked as xyz at our faculty under the national youth service corps scheme.........." the dates of employment were the dates for nysc. That is the date camp started and the date of passing out as it appears on your discharge certificate.

Thank you!

Either these two sentences in these photos contradict each other or I am misinterpreting them. Could someone better explain them for me? Please and thanks in advance.

Okay, I see.

No, it won't, they will only require a letter in CIC format stating average balance for past six month at the time you are submitting. At worst, if you can't get the letter from you bank in required format, you print your six month balance as at when submitting post ITA which won't even show your activities between now and 2019.

Got you! Thanks a lot

Hmm, if I may ask, why waiting all the way till 2019 before you start? Waiting to complete 1 year job experience or finish Bachelors degree? If either of the above doesn't apply, then I wonder why you want to wait ooo.

If its just because of POF, I'm not sure you should wait that long.

I have come to realize one thing in life, get what you need to get as soon as now, tomorrow might be late. Who knows, CIC might have made changes that might not be favorable any longer.

An example is the tie-back change that was made against yesterday draw, now, not all candidates that have equal minimum cut-off will get ITA unlike the previous scenario. This means that, if two candidates have 458 (latest crs cut-off) and there is need to drop one of them due to maximum number of possible invitation being reached, the candidate that fills his/her profile later would be dropped.

So my brother/sister, abeg, weigh your options and start ASAP.

Yes I am waiting because I want to get a Year of work experience. I just graduated from university. So do you think it’ll raise any flags if I send the money to my account for POF continuously from now while I’m getting my one year work experience and apply in 2019?

I previously mentioned that I plan to apply in the early months of 2019. If I begin sending parts of the total amount of POF to the account I want to use for my POF and make sure it is complete before I begin my application process, will that raise any flags when I begin my application? Thank you

Serious answer this time please it’s important thanks in advance

Answer to question 1 is: A lifetime!!! angry

It sure feels like it since I applied for hubby and me since August 14th. I advise you to apply now to FBI CJIS even before you start WES and the rest. Coz you'll be getting it in February 2018.

Thank you.

Anyone know how long it normally takes to get a PCC from the USA if you’re requesting for it from Nigeria?

Approximately how long does it take for the whole ECA thing to be complete through WES?

Try to do a full year at your PPA when you know it. Talk to them, develop a relationship with them and try to do a full year. You'll only need to do maybe 2 months extra or so.

Thanks a lot

There is also no superiority contest going on here. This is a forum for sharing information. If anyone cannot be civil in communicating then na them know. Soon said individuals shall be left to their own narcissistic devices.
As dupyshoo said, submit what is required and if you get additional docs request then do your due diligence.
If anybody feels the urge to insult me for this post, na you know oh. Argue with your ancestors. grin grin grin

Hi vcole I saw an old comment of yours on the Canada skilled workers express entry. You mentioned you used your NYSC work experience, however since. NYSC is less than a year, how does that work for someone who has only that as their work experience? Thank you.

Please Ignore. Question has been answered
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by immanuella3: 12:37pm On Nov 08, 2017
New to this forum. I just completed my undergraduate degree. Will begin my NYSC in 2018 and plan to use that as my 1 year work experience when I start my Express Entry journey in 2019. Someone previously said she successfully used it. However since NYSC is not a full one year, How do I go around that? Because i have no other work experience that wasn’t attained while I was a full time student
