@johnjoel; I will blame the ignorance in you. How on earth will refer GEJ as being silly for taking such a step? Well, you are not 0.0000001% upto the sandal of GEJ. You go and perish in your idiotic mentality.

SportsRe: Nigeria Will Not Reverse Team Ban: by imoga(m): 1:40pm On Jul 03, 2010
@Akwasi,

Akwasi:
This is the worse decision I have seen anyone taken after a setback. What guarantees that Nigeria will do well after 2years? And does the president know that his self imposed ban will make it "impossible" for Nigerian clubs to sell players thereby endangering the very existence of those clubs?

Somebody should tell the president that it is not that worse. He should go the way of the Ghanaians, 'Forget about the old horses in the national team, and get people who can run to play for Nigeria'.

Sorry to say but this decision is silly
If selling of players to clubs is your main problem, how much profit does the country benefit? Do these guys pay tax to the coffers of the government? All things being equal, good riddance to bad rubbish.

As many of you who are condemning the action of our dear GJ. just because he banned the d eagles, I see you as addicted football fans harbored in Nigeria.  Nigeria is a country that has her sovereignty and so if it takes a decision on a serious issue, who are u to question or condemn her decision?  What a hell is FIFA? Developing football in Nigeria is not the duty of FIFA alone but the government alongside. How committed are the so-called eagles? Did you ever watched Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon games? Did you notice passion in there games? What benefit are the so-called Nigeria Professionals doing on their own individually and collectively (Kanu Excluded) in the development of football in their home country?

If the money spent on football is used to development ICT among the upcoming youth, we will probably enjoy some good benefits, there will be employment for teeming unemployed graduates.

FIFA can go to hell. I support the decision of the president.
EducationRe: Policemen Beat Female Undergraduate To Coma by imoga(m): 5:41pm On Jun 23, 2010
The Nigeria Police is a dreaded monster in black attire.  They behave exactly what they are wearing.

Them go school? Them fit study to pass? How many police men are graduates? So long as they will keep recruiting thugs, we can't get better of matters of security of life and properties.
