The main difference between the two qualifications is that a postgraduate diploma (PGDip, PgDip, PG Dip, PGD or PgD) is more extensive, generally taking around 30 weeks to complete if studied full time. This compares with 15 weeks for a postgraduate certificate (PGCert, PgCert, PG Cert, PGC or PgC).

From: Google...
boss i think its the reverse.. pgc is longer

Now. Thanks so very much.. I will just include my sponsor's only... Since the funds are coming from him

You can go ahead but I believe the more documents you provide, the more they try to verify was is not. Although it's very good to convince them because from the few gcms notes I have read over here, they always want to be very convinced. So if we must convince them, it should always be to the direction of what they laid emphasis at.

Nevertheless, those applying for the first time usually add everything possible but it must be moderate and convincing as well.

But either way, follow your instinct with the little you have read over here and always hope for the best putting into consideration that there are more experienced pple over here some of which are heading to school pretty soon.

Make quick use of them before they resume.

@Maziude, Canadian nurse or @Austinpee4 to mention a few. Even our free thinker @jnyuwa02 can also help out.

[thanks for the advice... quote author=guzenaira post=59701357]
Dear all,

@imoriafe and @matic12, let's be very careful with informations we share over here.

Kindly remove your draft SOP, and be more security conscious when uploading your gcms files.

I sometimes shook my head in silence when I see Pple dropping their mobile numbers and forgot to remember that there are scammers here who only wait for strong opportunity in weak minded pple in other to dupe them of their hard earned millions, particularly where the only thing that his more pronounced here is transfer of funds.

Let's be guided and very careful.

We have good pple here and scammers as well.

Landed properties are mainly for hometie but since you don't have it I want to believe your parents and siblings are all here in Nigeria? if yes you can use them as your hometie by explaining to the vo how close you are to them and will surely wouldn't want to stay away from them for long.... as for your sponsor he/she can include the landed property, if your parents have any landed property you can include it as well.
thanks alot. im currently employed and have been given approval for study leave in my office for 20months without pay.i hope i can include this.

Peeps that say questions were not repeated that's wrong. Someone that wrote today mentioned a question about shoals:fish and that was my first question when I wrote on Monday morning. It's a large pool of questions that are selected at random so there's a possibility that people that haven't written could get same questions that were shared here. Please let there be a fair testing ground, we all are trying to give this our best shot should incase they recruit on merit. So please don't give others undue advantage over us that wrote first. This is a Competition not academic exams.
I hope they will be wise concerning this.... Concur bro

Gudmrng all.. Concerning the issue of "helping"... It's a good and noble act. . However, th sane bible that said when u r slapped on one chick turn the other said, stated also that wisdom is profitable to direct.... Why doesnt God reveal all his plans for your future to you, it's because he expects u to trust him all the way... When something's happen to you n you know that these r things you could have avoided if you had made a wise decision,... You end up saying that it was meant to be... That's a great deception brethren.so please wisdom is the principal thing... Be wise as a serpent
,but gentle as a dove. ..bless you all

thanks alot. again. my job function is general operations, cash n teller, treating intra-bank transfers, but they are at the basic IT related stuffs. so i want to move to the IT session and i need an IT background.been working for 3 yrs plus.though at first as a marketer then moved to operations.

Austinpee4:
What is actually your job role in the bank you work?

If it's IT related, then you have a chance. You only need to prove to them that your next position/role as an IT expert will require advanced knowledge and skills hence your intent of obtaining an advance degree to further hone your skill set.

Your uncle will have to give you the funds for your program and living expenses for the first year and also swear an affidavit of support so you are covered for the second year. He will also state why he decided to expend the huge funds for your study.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by imoriafe: 3:47pm On Jul 09, 2017
austinepee4 u too much. thanks for the explicit response. but wat if i want to pursue a career in IT.. and also i want to use my uncle as my sponsor.though we dont have the same surname. how go about both
Austinpee4:
The whole body of my post already answered the line as emboldened. Anyway, this person you know probably don't have the same profile as @imoriafe. So it may not be in place to use it as a clear example.

Having worked for 4 years in the bank, any further progression will be seen from this premise. Unless there have been significant activities(research, projects, conferences and all) in botany/biological sciences from when he finished undergrad. If this isn't the case, a good question will be at what instance is this interest for this master of biology? A good answer to this is preceding activities in area of proposed program no matter how little within the 4 years since completion of undergrad study.
The banking industry i will presume would not have related activity in biological sciences.

There is actually no case of SOP here. This is a case of progression!
