PreciousGem: Somebody shout haleluyah! I say smebody shout haleluyah! Thank u pastor Kun for makin this opportunity available 4 us to testify. Ever since I got d undst of payin tithe and was devoted to it i discover that my life became 10 times better than when i was not payin my tithe. I experience greater increase in my life and I shall nver stop cos this increase is gonna be transfer 2 my children and children's children. Praise God! So @kun or watever u're am not listening...
get q job first before dreaming of paying tithe....you don't seem like somebody that is capable of feeding yourself let alone sharing with another person.
Christianity EtcRe: Testimonies On Why We Stopped Tithing Here by incrediblestev: 7:28pm On Oct 06, 2013
ochuko eja: tithing links your finance to the kingdom of heaven. you are simply paying tax to God not because he needs it. You are simply saying your source is not from the earth rather its heavenly. its just a symbol that is linking your finance to heaven, therefore you cant be affected by economic crisis because where your source is from, such does not exist. Saying we are ambassadors of christ goes beyond literal meaning. we do pay our tax to the governement of our country, dont we? this is the main reason when things are not going right we blame the government because we are all stakeholders. How can you hold God responsible for your woes when there is no link? An ambassador of France in Nigeria may not be frazzled if the economic situation in Nigeria goes downhill because he knows his source (salary and welfare) is tied to france. Then again, we are not being forced to pay tithe, there are other weightier matters in the kingdom of God
this is nonsensical, who is teaching you this rubbish, so your pastor does not need my tax yet he won't let me rest with his subliminal referenced to my nonpayment of it. Nigerian banks lay people off every now and then, many of them tithe paying Christians, nothing special about them, they are not wealthier than their colleagues that do not give a damn about tithe, in fact I have a friend that is in the habit of begging me for money every time I visit him, he is strong tithe paying member of rccg yet my pocket no dey rest any time we see.

Thesaints
you sound somuch like one of those prosperity preachers lying and twisting the bible to their own benefits ....so Christians became more wealthy when they taught them about tithing, really, is that a fact or one of the baseless soundbites from one of the prosperity gospel preachers you listen to? Abeg, stop posting your personal beliefs and opinions as if they were the facts..... whether you pay tithe or not, if you will succeed, you will, majority of the world's wealthiest people do not pay or believe in tithing yet they employ you that pays tithe and think you are the best thing since Moses .

Why are some pro-tithers acting like most churches don't keep registers for tithe payment even some Catholic parishes do it, you will know how serious it is when you want to Wed or do a child dedication, some are here claiming that it is not compulsory....I dey laugh
Christianity EtcRe: Testimonies On Why We Stopped Tithing Here by incrediblestev: 6:51pm On Oct 06, 2013
Thank you for this, I was coming to that. The reason many pay tithe is that they don't really know what it is.
If you understand tithing, you would understand it is not even a Christian practice but purely Judaism!
exactly my point too..... the act of giving one tenth of their possessions was purely an act based on the general traditional belief system of the time not because the Christian God demands so.... why this is taking people eternity to understand is surprising me. Many of the beliefs or doctrines in christiandom did not start off as a Devine instruction from God for his people they were simply man-made beliefs smuggled into the Christian context and given divinity by mere mortals.
Christianity EtcRe: Testimonies On Why We Stopped Tithing Here by incrediblestev: 6:30pm On Oct 06, 2013

tunapa2009: It was recorded once for Abraham abi. What prompted him to give the tithe (spoil)?
I also said that, it must be done with a cheerful heart and not grudging nor forcefully. I strongly believe in tithe...
Does it mean that because Jesus didn't speak about it, make it wrong? Or his disciples didn't speak about it,make it abolished?
Now listen and let this fact enter your head very well, Abraham paid tithe not because it was an obligatory exercise of for Abraham, it is because it was part of the traditional beliefs of the people at the time, it was mot obligatory neither was it fixed payment. There is nothing Christian about the payment, it was not a Christian traditional religious right of a sect but a traditional belief of everywhere person that existed at the time.
Christianity EtcRe: Testimonies On Why We Stopped Tithing Here by incrediblestev: 5:54pm On Oct 06, 2013
There is a very latent misconception about tithing, something traditional in the way pro-tithers make their arguments.Unless we choose to turn a blind eye to what actually constitutes a tithe or the real context and what must exist to enable tithing, it is not rocket science to decipher that it is fraudulent for any pastor or MOG to rant about it or twist it to the point where people are haunted by guilt for not paying tithes.

Now to the issue of whether it is biblical or not to pay tithes, it is pertinent that we address some claims here by pro-tithers that for reasons I can't fathom, are indulging in concoction of facts and revisionism.
I will take it one by one:
1. Abraham never tithed on his own personal properties or livestock, what he tithed was a loot from war and that was the only time he was recorded to have given tithe, if actually it did exist as a compulsory Christian ritual prerequisite for blessings and all that hypnotic talk of taking devourer away from payees. during his time, Abraham sure would have tithed again from his own properties and livestock.

2. JACOB'S CONDITIONAL TITHING
The first ttithe to have been given from one's possession was done by Jacob, the grandson of Abraham. Obviously, the man gave God a condition before considering tithing, in Genesis 28:20-22, he told God that he would tithe only when God blesses him. Paul illustrated the fact that Jacob's conditions were met 1Corinthians 4:7. This would seem odd to today's prosperity preachers Oyedepo and Adeboye as it runs contrary to what they and their likes teach: where you are asked to challenge God by tithing money you do not have. It is a common fact that Israel did not tithe on what they did not have.

3. HOW DID JACOB TITHE?
Did he give it personally to God?'
How he did it can be found in Deuteronomy 12:6-7 and. 14:29, these scriptural references revealed the only 2 ways tithes should be given;
God acknowledged Jacob's tithe:
a. Jacob partaking of a portion of himself and his family in communion and thanksgiving.
b. By sharing his possession with the poor, strangers, the unfortunate (widows and motherless children and destitutes).....hmmmm, my pastor will breathe down my neck if I dare share my tithe, his monthly allawee from me with these people....lol.... Funny but true.

Next I am going to talk about tithing and the logistical system in,another post shortly.
Don't be decieved anymore, your pastor does not have 'any devine right to ask for one tenth of your salary, you are not obliged to pay anyone any fixed amount of your salary, na your money, you should give if you want to and willingly too, not because you have been hoodwinked to believe you will be devoured by poverty if you didn't.

abusol: What a Hell? May I ask the Man of God, is any of the politicians and religious leaders children schooling in any of the Nigeria Universities? Has the so called Man of God be to any of the Universities? Did he ask which of the Universities are using modern equipments in lecturing students?
HoW can Nigeria achieve vision 20 20 20 if proper attention is not shifted to Education.
They are busy sending their children to abroad to school so that they could achieve the vision
What hope do Nigeria Masses have.. A man that claim to be a lecturer and PhD holder for that matter could open his eye and see lecturers are on strike for over a month..
My guy you will do well to comment with facts and not mere exaggerations and out of no where comparisons.
There is no University anywhere in the UK or Europe that is 100% funded by the government, you can not even compare the amount a student in any of the universities pay to the near nothing public university students pay, so what are you yapping about.

The endowment funds of Oxford alone is like more than a hundred times more than our entire education system, you think such funds come from the pockets of the governments? If the FG decides to give full autonomy to school management to generate its own funds do you think an average Nigerian parent will be able yo meet up?

And you obviously don't seem to fully understand the issues here if you think this perennial strikes will do anything to better education in this country. It goes beyond salaries and emoluments of just university lecturers, they only make up a minute fraction of the recurrent expenditure in the education sector that FG spends money. Education does not revolve around the salaries of University lecturers, they are not the only ones who are players in the sector, holding everyone to ransom just because they have disagreement with their employers is not only selfish but also exacerbating the already bad situation.

Let's be realistic here, no matter what anyone thinks or how inappropriate the shenanigans going on in our polity is, there is little justification in the position of ASSU, successful government may have been dishonest in meeting some of the agreements but that can not be used as a justification to take an uncompromising position where you conclude to say until all of your demands are met you won't bulge, that is unreasonable and selfish, and I font see how such a stance helps education in this country.

lucabrasi: an average lecturer in the worst higher institution in the uk earns almost 10million naira equivalent per annum,ASUU signed an agreement with Govt once and they refused to honour it,wouldn't it be foolish of ASUU to give Govt the benefit of doubt again on trust?
the higher education sector in Nigeria is in a state of coma,if nothing is done like the radical move ASUU is embarking on i can bet you even Ghana will not accept a Nigerian certificate.

go and find out,all the harvard, cambridge ,oxford e.tc why do you think people rush to attend them and pay a lot of money?
all their lecturers were enticed with big money.the western university system is run like a premiership they entice genius and world class brains to their university with big money.you complain a lecturer is forcing you to buy hand outs why won't they when they are not paid enough?
i schooled abroad and i have never paid 1 penny for handouts all through my degree,no lecturer has ever had sex with a student because they won't want to jeopardise their career and the good money they are collecting

agitator: Are we under military rule? People should know the certain issues before talking. There is a provision of the constitution that allows "freedom of association." Yu have to remove/modify/expunge/ etc that section from the constitution first.

It was the same thing that played out during the north implementing sharia. Everybody was waiting for OBJ to stop sharia, a power the constitution doesn't confer on him.

If there is any problem with the constitution, let the national assembly change the law(s), then the executive implement.

Nigerian's have been under military rule for long that we don't understand what democracy is all about. We continue to imagine the President/Governor/LGA Chairman can just give orders. undecided undecided undecided
Let us not undermine the usefulness of freedom of association, every law has its limits and per-requisites, there is no law that is absolute in itself, if I were to follow your version of freedom, then it will be ok for me to join the bokoharam sect and be justified. ASSU's existence has caused more harm than good to our education system, and yes, there is no country I know of where there is an academic union that compels every University in a country to embark on a compulsive strike even when members are not disposed to joining in. Do you know of the brawl that has been going on between ASSU and University of illorin to the point the management had to sack over 40 lecturers who were members to the union for their disruptive antics and tendencies every time there was a disagreement, today Univeristy of Illorin is better for it, they are not on strike and academic sessions are not disrupted by the greedy power play of a few. Even the private sector wont allow unionism because of its degenerative antics to constantly use disruptive means to solve their problems bad enough, you dont see these union leaders when thesame management and FG they constantly fight when school fees are unjustly hiked or students taken advantage of by lazy lecturers. ASSU needs to be either overhauled or reduced to individual University, they have outlived their usefulness as it is now.

Ribadu, just like the rest is not any better, the leader of his party, the former governor of Akwa Ibom state and Ibori were the trio that were accused of divesting state funds invested in present day airtel into private accounts, what did he do besides stirring the polity with wild guesses, suggestions and unproven allegations he was too scared to follow up....scheeeew, if any body deserves a plaque here, it is the British justice system that made sure he did not go evade justice as he had succeded in doing under the watch of our ever talkertive holy Ribadu that only wielded the big stick at the prompting of Baba Iyabo.
EducationRe: ASUU Vs FG Face-off: Just Before You Nail The NANS President by incrediblestev: 1:39pm On Sep 14, 2013
It is unfortunate that even the supposed students can not coherently explain the contents of the so-called agreement without resorting to shouting out the same old tired songs of corruption and stupid comparisons, little wonder they have continued to stay in the house.
ASSU leadership needs to be reasonable and pragmatic in the way they sort for solution to their problems, I am not moved by the over laboured point of justifying unrealistic demands all because there are other arms of government that are entitled to far more monies, that still does not make it ok for ASSU and its mafia leadership to continue to blackmail and hold students to ransom.

All they have continued to do is talk about aspects of the agreement that favors them no one is talking about the parts of the agreement the FG has actually made serious efforts to show commitment, the problem here is our partisan and anti-government media houses that always feel the need to be antagonistic and spread propaganda, let ASSU stop hiding under the guise of looking out for anyone or wanting FG to honour an agreement which obviously does not have a one off solution to its implementation, all we have heard is that FG has not been honest, the question is which aspect of the agreement has FG reneged on, let us know the importance of getting that aspect of the agreement attended to, is it an aspect that affects their ability to work well, does affect the quality of their service and so on.

In a pragmatic society where everyone understands the worth and significance of their job, hitting home your points in making demands like this wont be hinged on the fact that because other arms of the government earn more, do less or not deserving of the kind of salaries they get, you therefore will stop work and cripple everything until you get your own share of the largesse. If these facts irk anyone in academia so much then may be they should drop the job and head straight to politics where your insatiable demands and material lust can be met instead of jeapardizing the future of students who are the sole victims of these foolish show of power between union and government.

It is unfortunate that the academic union has been infiltrated by partisan politicians who are playing raw politics under the guise of helping out. Little wonder the private sector employers wont let any form of unionism, they don't stand up when you need them unless it affects their pockets, as if this will better the mediocre services they give to students, bunch of lazy over fed and over pampered cry babies that are actually the problem they are pretending to solve.

How to play PS1 game on your Andriod phone
1. Get these files from the download links below
2. Install the epsxe emulator in your phone
3. Create a folder On the root of your SD card and name it PS 1 games, then copy the scph1001.bin bios file into the created ps1 folder.
4. Copy the Rom file of the game you want to play into thesame folder.
5. Go to emulator icon in your phone and run it will show the game, from there you are good to go.

Note most times the game Rom files are compressed in different archiving file format to make the size small, always look out for the file extension of the game after download. Your emulator can only read psx. iso or .bin file extension.
If it is a .rar extension, extract with winrar
.7z. Extract with 7zip
.ecm extract with unecm tool or pakkiso

definitely it will work as long as you install the emulator and put the games and a bio file in your SD card.my advice is this, use epsxe emulator instead of the regular fpse that has a little of work to get it play your game, epsxe just search for the game fIle and make it available for play. .
