Luvly devin: Dr how can I connect my wifi hot spot to my laptop

go to settings, u wil c more under wireless, open it and u wil find tethering and portable hotspot, open it and configure it as u want. Then enable it. Go to ur pc, ensure wireless is on, ur pc should automatically see d connection u created on ur phone, click on it, enter a password if u used any while configuring ur hotspot on ur phone.and wolla! U done

seems like u installed an app that has played on d bluetooth file? If ppl cn search and see ur bluetooth name then it isnt hardware issue, if u ar rooted jst boot into recovery and wipe delvik cache and if d problem persist, boot into recovery if u ar rooted, do a nandroid backup and do a complete wipe. Bt if u are not rooted u may have to lose al ur installed files, go to recovery and wipe data or factory reset.

my bad, whatsapp plus has been removed from xda early this morning due to some infringment issues, i got robbed last week of my htc one x, i would have uploaded to dropbox for u guys. Jst try on google it should hav been uploaded some were else

i guess u running a stock rom? If yes then i tel u that its an issue with samsung , they distribute their update in regional manner and end up neglating some regions. I advice u use kies on ur pc to check 4 d update,that may help as well. Talking about 4.2, what version of android are u? If u are on 4.1.2 then i think u may nt get 4.2 but 4.3, samsung already anounced that for note 2

plz elaborate more on the issue, and what version of android are u using? And did u make ur bluetooth visible? And did this problem jst start? And have u been sending and recieving files before now?

jackymfon: hi i ve an issue with my Samsung mini galaxy its always force closing, i downloaded whatsapp but its not installing it gives me prasing error, i just rooted my one but i can't download files but my Google play keeps force closing and i ve installed it. help pls

i guess this issue started after u rooted, and i think u rooted by installing a pre rooted firmware over ur stock rom with odin. U can solve this issue by booting into ur recovery and doing d necessary wipes, wipe data, delvik and cache.

if u are not rooted to flash a custom 4.3 rom, then u wil have to wait til samsung pushes the OTA for ur mini, 4.3 jst got official 2 days ago. But dnt get 2 excited yet, cos samsung is yet to show its whitelist for devices that wil get 4.3, and to b sincere am nt sure d mini wil get it, samsung already anounced a long time ago that d mini life wil end with 4.2.2

to get paid apps for free, download blackmart, u wil hav to google to find it. As for games issue, if u get a licence error then u must be using a fake licence which has been verified by d google market, some of this games use ur internet connection to verify if ur licence is original. And for other error, it may just be a compactibility issue.

@olahero recent android devices comes with hardware capabilities to take screenshot, bt it varies frm one device to another, i mean d hardkey combo, bt i wil gv u some options, try power key and volume up or power key and volume down. If u hav a physical home key then try power and home.

@femi4 thats not gonna happen, ios on an android hardware, u should knw ios isnt open source. The only possibility is dual booting 2 different android os on one device and its kernel dependent.

5. Games. Am not a fan of this category, i play only livechess, it gves u d option to play chess with other users online.

4. Social apps. For facebook, d default facebook apps leaves too many wakelocks that drain ur batter so i advice u use friendcaster, there is a free and paid version. For twitter, i advice tweetcaster, gves u more options than d default app. For whatsapp i advice u use whatsapp plus, gives u option to use themes and auto backup ur messages, u cn get whatsapp plus from d xda forum. For facebook chat i advice u log ur facebook into ur 2go acount so that u cn use ur 2go application for facebook chat, it leaves u with less wakelocks. But if u cn afford buying go chat pro, then better.

Great post here, let me make my own list.
1. Apps for best battery- if use android and u dnt use greenify and battery doctor, then u a learner. Greenify helps u stop certain apps from poppin up to eat up resource e.g maps, google services and social applications. Battery doctor helps u close running applications when screen light goes off, it also takes ur battery through a complete charge cycle. For root users, it can underclock ur cpu when screen light is off.
2. Apps for making documents. Two apps stand up here as leaders, kingsoftand document to go. The former gives u more editting options.
3. Apps for music. I prefer using d default music player, 4 smtin different get cloudskipper
