Parse error isn't adb or fastboot related. It can be caused by incompatible apps, poorly downloaded apps etc. This isn't adb or fastboot issue.

I will only answer questions as they relate to the tutorial under discussion. New tutorial by tomorrow

My very first tutorial will be on how to use adb and fastboot commands. Adb and fastboot commands are used to to solve some problems on Android devices E. G install applications from a pc, unlock bootloader on htc devices, wipe any Android phone with pattern or pin lock, force reboot any phone to any interface, repair Efs, etc.
Adb is very dependent on USB debugging been on, so always ensure USB debugging is on before u run adb commands, the next question is how do we activate USB debugging, on older phones go to application under settings, select development then mark USB debugging. On newer phones go to about and hit build number 6 times to unveil the development mode, u will be prompted on the 6th hit that you now a developer. Then u can enable debugging from the developer option.

To use adb and fastboot commands u don't need to download the entire Android sdk and waste a whole lot of data, just download a zip achieve that contains the essentials of adb and fastboot, unzip the achieve to a folder anywhere on your PC, my favourite location is on desktop, for easy access. So let's go

To install apk apps from adb folder, copy the apk to the adb folder connect the usb cable to the phone. Open the adb folder hold shift button down and right click on your mouse then select open command prompt from the options. A cmd prompt window will be open, type in adb devices, this is to be sure device is detected, so type in adb devices, and hit enter and a device will be listed, if a device is listed then your good to go, if u get error message, check your USB cable and ensure USB debugging is enabled.

To install the apk type in adb install whatsapp.apk
Then hit enter this will start the installation of whatsapp, so u can rename the file to any name u want for easy installation.

pls help!!!! My Gowin f7 android is not staying on again. If i power it on, it will come up but will display on d home screen that my android have been reburned and modified and shutting down. you rooted the phone. That's while it's acting that way. the only solution is backing up a functional gowin f7 phone and flash the back up on ur phone. don't root a gowin phone next time .

U can urself . the logic behind the bb imei is that they all start with 8 after the 35 so just change the number after the 35 on ur original imei to 8.

get a working qcn file from a working mega and write it to ur phone with z3x box or qpst. it's easy. no need to root .

tutorials are very incomplete, especially for samsung using efs pro

EMMAUGOH: YOU GUYS SUPPOSE TO KNOW THAT SOME OF THESE PHONE CHIPS ARE NT THESAME THOUGH THEY ARE MADE IN SAME FACTORY...BUT WHAT I HAVE FOUND OUT IS THAT WHEN YOU ARE FLASHING A ROM FOR THE FIRST TIME AND U WIPE THE SYSTEM IN CMW , YOU WILL GET A 5O/50 LUCK THAT UPGRADED FIRMWARE WILL NOT WORK IN SUCH PHONE,I HAVE TRIED AND SEEN

Seems like u using an outdated recovery. Read change ur recovery to philz recovery, download the most recent one, cos from experience 4.4 needs a special recovery to be installed and philz took care of it in the latest version

Wizyoung: Thnx bro for ur valuable contribution. From what i see partaining to flashing custom rom on same device, it seems like there are little hardware variations among myt4ges. Not sure though. In my part, the rom would nt boot past the splash screen. A freeze! No response after several mins of staring at the screen. Later pulled battery out. I culd've ended up bricking my phone due to my negligence to battery power. Power was at 20% when i flashed the current rom i'm using nw. Risky u say? That's risky really. But i'm glad i didn't becos i was angry at myself for nt being able to get somthin done after wasting abou 200+mb on airtel. Lol

I doubt if there are variations in hardware. Cos I have flashed that rom many times. Download the rom and make the right selection in aroma. After it has installed, uncheck box, then clear cache and delvik. And hope u using 4ext recovery?

That firmware I gave is for the international version. Don't download it then. Go to sammobile and look for ur firmware then

Best way to back up is from recovery. Get a custom recovery and back up from recovery
