The governors are usually handed the structure of the party in the state. That's the convention.

Being a Nigerian president don't need structure,it only required an anointing some important political figure.
For example: IBB and Abdulsami Abubakar project Obasanjo
Obasanjo singlehandedly project yardua.

Let assume that Buhari inform umahi that he want Onu...will Umahi oppose Buhari.

The south Western or Yoruba people strongly believe the presidency will get to them in 2023 but know body except to some level the president that can decide that.

Any Attempt to present and candidate from that SW in APC northerns will takeover in PDP.

That is why Buhari will take his time to do the needdful
Lol....my brothers from d east nor understand politics at all. We've since gone pass the era of obasanjo and co. Nigeria politics is evolving. How do you get the delegates to win in the primary when you can't muster a good number from home? If Buhari pushes his luck too far the party will die in his hands. Even if he wants to support someone,it must be someone with a reasonable level of acceptance within the party.

And stop this your baseless emotional blackmail. Who told you giving ticket to a southwest person will make pdp/north take over? What kind of lie is that? The bitter truth is that nobody in the southeast has the clout to win this election both in Apc and pdp. The both parties are aware that's why they're dodging the south east.

Now the APC issues begin in Kano state.
Ganduje has control of the party in Kano. Shekarau may reconsider his membership along with his faction. They may choose to negotiate with PDP and move over there. Kwankwanso decamped from PDP to NNPP.

How would these things play out?
There's no decamping anywhere. Shekarau and his group have been buying the Apc nomination forms. They have their forms already. I'm sure they'll be given some slots.

This is not a function of like or hate. I cannot just hate people. Plus it is not everyone who have plundered our collective wealth that has been prosecuted or convicted by the courts. However, going by how they have stolen and pillaged our resources with reckless abandon, it is our moral responsibility to call them by their real names...THIEVES! And, it will be unforgivable to actively participate in recommending them for further crime.
It's only a court of competent jurisdiction that can pronounce a citizen a thief via conviction. Any other submission is nothing but an emotional outburst.

Politics › Supreme Court Upholds Ganduje Apc Exco by Indispensable85(op): 11:44am On May 06, 2022
The Supreme Court has upheld the Governor Abdullahi Ganduje faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State against the party’s faction loyal to former Governor Ibrahim Shekarau.

In a unanimous decision of the five-member panel of justices read by Justice Inyang Okoro, on Friday, the apex court held that the appeal against the earlier judgements of the Court of Appeal in Abuja lacked merit and is dismissed.

The court further ruled that the two other appeals in the matter will abide by the decision.

The Court of Appeal had in February dismissed the three appeals also held that the originating summons were wrongly commenced in Abuja, adding that the matter was an internal affair of the party.

The appeals followed the two rulings of an FCT High Court in 2021 which upheld the ward and local government congresses believed to have been won by the faction loyal to Shekarau and Senator Jibril Barau (Kano North), numbering about 17,908 and 1,319 members respectively.

Pandora is equally clear for everyone to intereogate. The impoverished people where they have once governed are also a testimony. I will not submit my thumb to endorsing a known thief.
It's your right to vote anyone but you can't call anyone thief because you hate them. No court has convicted anyone on that list. Anybody can call you a thief too if they don't like you but that doesn't make you one.

Nnamdi Kanu will obviously not end well. The courts should sentence him to death by hanging. He brought things alien to the south east. Igbos are now slaughtering Igbos. Igbos are now eating people's blockos and kpekus. Igbos are now doing suicide bombers. Very sad! Igbos are now being beheaded by fellow igbos. Very sad! Ojukwu led BIAFRA didn't turn Igbos against Igbos.
