We just arrived Bauchi state. What a lucky State, in the fullest of time, we shall continue to remember the State as Mr. Peter Obi’s first port of call during the Northern consultations.

As the Special Assistant to the then Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON) , having been seconded to his office from the Legal Department of the organisation, I had the privilege of visiting all the states of the North with the DG mostly by road. We would always visit a former DG of VON who resides in Bauchi town.

Travelling by air to Bauchi offered us a little exposition of the vastness of the country. As we were about to land, we saw kilometers of uninhabited semi-desert, that looks sufficiently “Sahelian.”. In my find, with a good leader, such places would, by modern technology, be heavily irrigated for food sufficiency/export.

Beyond the Yankari, Bauchi is a land of possibilities, weighed down, like other Nigerian states, by bad leadership.

Indeed, Nigerian needs the magical touch of Mr. Peter Obi. There is no doubt that the PDP needs his type to win the Presidency. Throughly tired of incompetency, whereby the Presidency has been alternating between mediocrities and below average, his ticket manifestly above average, would elicit spontaneous and revolutionary support across the country.

They don't buy sense in the market but you guys find it difficult to use the one God gave you. Sign of aspirants forms by APC delegates is not a secret voting. An aspirant can sign for as many as aspirants as he likes. So what is the big deal that 10 in each state signed for an aspirant which each aspirant will still do or are you not aware that one aspirant had even submitted his form signed by 10 aspirants in each state. I think we need to roll out drum for the said aspirant for achieving such 'laudable' feat.

You think the DG of a presidential campaign council can contest for an elective position in his state? Where will he find the time? I thought he is the DG of Tinubu campaign? Why seeking an elective position if it sure him Tinubu is going to win? Amaechi was Buhari campaign DG and refused to contest any elective position. Abdulmumin Jibrin emotional intelligence is zero - Loyalty is not just appearing to be loyal but practically been loyal, in 2015 Faruk Adamu Aliyu shelves his ambition for Governorship in Jigawa state because he was too committed on the ambition of his Principal who was Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, there wasn't even any rancor but rather pure commitment toward Buhari's course. Abdulmumini Jibrin is abandoning Tinubu's 'bigger' Ambition because Ganduje has denied him ticket for houseof Reps, haba!

If Ganduje denies Abdulmumini ticket how is that end of the world? Why not focus more to work tirelessly for your principal and make sure he is successful

There's nothing Tinubu can do. Ganduje will never give him the ticket. The pdp candidate that was helped by Ganduje to defeat jibrin already has the commitment of the governor to go for a second term.

Jibrin became too proud at a point, insulting the governor and other leaders of the APC in Kano. He thought he was too popular. When the tribunal nullified his election and called for a rerun, the governor catched in on that just to teach him a little political lesson. The governor had an understanding with the PDP candidate to support him to defeat jibrin and decamp to the Apc after the election. I think he has learnt his lessons though. Ganduje should just forgive him and move on to the bigger picture.
