StanbicIBTC is robbing Nigerians off on savings account claiming its stamp duty

Lol since 3 or 4 days now I've been receiving debit alerts of 50 naira from Stanbic IBTC. Should be well over 300 naira in total now. And they will hear from me. Over the phone

Even tho all the articles i read online, none of them actually said that regular saving accounts are exempted. I can remember seeing salary account i think.

Does anyone have a link stating that regular saving accounts are exempted?

They called me today asking for my experience with them & the chances of recommending them to friends and family. U already know the answer.
Den CC told me the withdrawal was from January 1st so dey just started last week and savings account ain't excluded as long as the payment ain't from your account.

It has one flaw I spotted from first reading. A better naira will like make Nigerians import a lot of finishing products as well except if electricity and other factors for industrialization are put in place. If not the economy will definitely crumble cox if my #200 can buy me a bottle of wine from Europe why will I buy the fake ones produced here. Just my opinion

Per CBM freight plus clearing from Guangzhou to Lagos is around 70k so total will be around 150k for the first machine

Just make sure they are on Cc list and if they utter jargons like useless conversion rate for the day ask them why their card rate for that day is higher than the last time you paid and rather than they paying you at the card rate of that day or at worst pay you at the rate you used. Not one bank have ever cheated me on such, best you can do is refund me exactly what I paid

Send them a mail and copy CBN if they don't respond engage them in twitter war. When GTBank tried it on my 1.94$ I made sure I collected it back. StanbicIBTC already know my name so they have stopped such trash with me a long time ago
