Here's one route u can adopt. Using social media.
a. Get a hungry or profitable market

b. Find an affiliate product to fill their need.

c. Promote d product to them using ur phone via Facebook, Instagram, twitter or even pinterest.

You get a forum for desired niche just type your niche forum in Google search. And several listings u can choose from will come up.

I also got good information from other forums that were centered around fertility.

My site grew, traffic increased steadily, sales were skeletal from Nigerians but I was
selling affiliate products to foreigners.

Not much dough was made.

From the TTC thread, I discovered that Nigerians needed more than information but real
products to help them.

And since so many women on NL were complaining about certain issues, I knew instinctively that
there were many more women and men out there that I could reach out with my products.

I painstakingly looked for products that worked but purely natural/ herbal.

I found them.

I got products for issues that western medicine could not provide real answers for
and sold them on my site for a commission.

Since i was not getting much traffic from google, I used paid ads on Tribune, sun newspaper, vanguard
at different points afterwards.

The result was amazing. I had a product combo that sold for N180k on my site. There were times in a day
I will get 3 people to pay 180k each. The commissions were 30% but I made good profit outside the commissions.

Monthly my advert cost was about N60k/month or thereabout on sun newspapers but only one order covered advert costs.

The bottom line is that those markets could only be explored from the information I got from forums.

Forums are invaluable if only you can search through.

When I started internet marketing, I started by selling my products.
Affiliate marketing was not easy then because of foreign address and
even how to receive payment.

The money spent to startup affiliate
marketing about twelve yrs ago was good to run a paid 5 x 1 column in
a newspaper to market your products.

Finding a hungry market besides the MMO market was not so open
and one needed to search for profitable markets.

Ten years ago I found myself marketing pregnancy Miracle as an affiliate
and i discovered that so many Nigerians wanted the book but could not buy.

I helped a few to get the book from Clickbank then. I read through the book
and i discovered it was too general and I needed deeper information to sell this
product and offer other products too.

In a process of time, I had a good training in alternative medicine and that helped me
to understand herbs and how it relates to the human body.

In 2012, I opened my first original site and I provided information on fertility
related issues.
But there was a big problem. I needed to get the main pains of those going through
fertility issues in Nigeria in order to sell solutions to them.

An that's how I found the TTC thread here on Nairaland.

The thread opened my eyes to real-life problems couples were going through in order to
conceive. I took my time and documented many of these issues and of course solutions
provided by some people that went through similar problems.

I researched the solutions proffered and dropped those that were very inaccurate.
So I wrote articles around these topics on my blog and gave my honest solution
from my learning and my research.

This is pathetic and a demonstration of the frustrations of Nigerians

A forum is a meeting or medium where ideas or views on a subject matter are shared.

People of different races, locations, works etc come together to share their common pains, thrills and knowledge on a particular subject of interest in forums.

Back then forums became gold mines for marketers. In forums they easily found out the common pain of these group of people and readily sold solutions to them.

These days, forums have evolved however, they still remain a gold mine.

I will show how in a moment.

In 2006 when I became of a student of Online Marketing,
there was a free hunting ground for marketers back then.

In fact MMO marketers then will sell a product to u because
they claim the product will show you where the millions
of buyers for your products are.

Incidentally, there were only two hunting grounds then.
Yahoo groups and the Forums. True to claim, many marketers
made a lot of dough from these two hangouts.

But today, yahoo groups no longer function but the forums
remain.

of necessity move on.

Also kindly look into the relationship and see what may have caused this, make amends and seek new adventure.

Quick question, although I know Facebook traffic for affiliate marketing converts, but when compared to Pinterest, Twitter and Reddit which actually yielded more sales for you?

In terms of free traffic - Reddit.

As outlined in an earlier post, it was a one-off thing. But the sales was remarkable

I only used twitter as a medium to sell. I barely got free traffic from twitter

For Paid Ads - Reddit
Though Pinterest and Facebook ads have given me sales too.
However, Facebook ads have provided very inconsistent results

All you need do is to refer someone to buy.
And this you can do in virtually all niches.

Here's what you can do right away.

1. Get a profitable market any of

Personal development
E-business or investment
Crafts or even spirituality

2. Pick a product or two from
any of those niches

3. Get your affiliate link.

4. Open a youtube channel

5. Every day, do a video of at least 12 minutes long
and upload to Youtube channel
If you have guts you can make two videos every day.

6. Write a fairly good description of what your video is all about and possibly
the highlights of your content and then put your affiliate link.

The more videos you upload the more people see what you are offering.

It is also important that you have done your keyword research so that you
can have your video to rank well on the search engines.

Hopefully one day within the week I will take us through keyword research.

One more thing, where do you get content for your videos.

1. From articles online
2. From interviews from experts
3. From Forums
4. From experience (if any)
5. From books or even Plr materials.

Content are abound everywhere all is needed is
for you to organize it into digestible chunk and of course, make it original.

If you can do this consistently I can guarantee that you will earn money.

And don't forget to save your videos somewhere because anything can happen to
your youtube channel.
You can transcribe the content and give away as ebooks or bundle them together
and sell as premium in future.

In the early hours of a Tuesday in the month of March early last year, I was in one of the health communities of the traffic source used in
the product.

And a woman asked a question.

I knew the answer to her question immediately. This is because
Firstly, I am a health consultant (check my posts in this forum between 2013 and 2015) and secondly, I had bought the same product several times from amazon and sold them here in Nigeria.

I answered her question by recommending the product. Not long after someone posted she wasn't sure if the product was that effective.

This is where I decided to plunge.

To the best of my knowledge, the product was great and had so many reviews, all I needed was to link these women to the reviews.

But once they read the reviews, it's most likely they will make a purchase.

So here's what I did.

I got my affiliate link for the product from Amazon, looked for a great deal for the product and then opened a twitter account to promote
the product.

This little task didn't take me 10minutes.

I dropped the link in the community telling them I saw a great deal for that item and also it will do them well to read the reviews of the product to be sure if it was the right product to use.

That was all.

Later in the afternoon of the same day, I went back to see what was happening in the community if my post have been hacked off.
The post was still there, up voted and many women were excited with the deal and the reviews.

The affiliate sales I made that day and in the next two days were very good and I mean very good. I had never had it so easy selling or promoting stuff online prior to that day.

I also made money for items some of them bought the same day after going through
the link on the twitter page. That's how awesome amazon can be

That experience opened me up to another opportunity I had never really considered
and I am taking advantage of that till date.

September 2017, I saw an advert on the warrior forum, the product advertised for really got me, I can't remember if it was a WSO(I doubt because of the price) but the sales page was a real hook.The product was pegged for $47 when I saw it.

These review websites, are they that easy to rank in Google? Please clarify
PS: I have seen some examples but they seem to have tons of backlinks.

It absolutely depends on the products you want to review.
Existing products may not be easy to rank on the first page in google
except if you did good research work on the keyword you used

It in the post I made on this I recommended writing reviews for yet to be launched
products. And a plus is that the year is rounding up so you may include 2020 in
the keywords. With this, it is easy to rank on google early enough.

The truth is that as your blog begins to grow, you will need to improve its visibility on
the search engines by also increasing the backlinks that come to
your site. It's not an automatic thing, you will have to grow into it.

The bottom line is that you must start from somewhere.
