EreluRoz:
I used to be a staunch church goer but gradually lost interest and always find one excuse or the other not to attend church service.

I actually lost interest when a certain young pastor was on my neck to date him, so it got to a point I had to stop attending service and ever since I've not been able to pick up.

How do I reawaken the zeal?
I keep telling church goers to stop it and seek Jesus Christ and have an encounter with Him. This will be the sign of great falling away. I pity people who goes to Church and not encountered Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Find Him my dear. Find Him and find rest to your soul.

Family / Re: Should I Relocate And Stay With My Husband Or Should I Continue My Work? by inforesource: 2:43pm On Mar 08
homelybabe:
Plz I need your advice folks.
I'm newly married. Before I married,I got a government teaching job in the east. My husband stays in Lagos but I stay in one of the states in the east. We got married in January this year and since then it's been difficult for us because of the distance. My husband is doing a good job in Lagos. I'm just afraid of relocating and staying idle at home, coupled with the fear of losing a government job that is pensionable. My friends and colleagues advised me to continue with my work and visit him during the holidays but some advised against such. I'm in a tight spot right now and don't want to take a decision I will end up regretting tomorrow. Please, your opinions are needed. Thanks.
My pastor use to say something, he will say, don't prepare for wrestling in the wrestling ring, you will be defeated.

This question you asked, does it mean that you just got that job after your wedding or before your wedding? Because this supposed to be one of the point of discussions with an agreed solution. You know it is a risk to keep distance in marriage. Check out the scripture on even couples embarking on fasting

BeautifulSolace:
I've been dating my boyfriend since 2021, and he's a good person whom I trust because he doesn't hide anything from me. Last year, he traveled to Lagos, creating a long-distance relationship. Despite not having evidence of cheating and maintaining strong communication, I often worry that all men can't stay without sex.

Should I be worried?"
If it is a boyfriend/girlfriend level= 50/50

Married couples struggles with this not to talk of friends. Don't put all your hope on it. If it turns out well, fine, if not fine.
Family / Re: Help! My Marriage Is Giving Me Pain. by inforesource: 7:53am On Mar 04
AkporsMechanical:
I promise to be very brief.
My wife and I live in a three bedroom flat without paying rent, although we only occupy one room since we don't have much property yet. The owner of the house abandoned the house before now and when we had accomodation issue asked us to stay there. We have been here since last year. However, there is no Geepee tank to supply water into the house. We could only pump water into our little drum when there is light. So I always go fetch water from the neighbouring compounds whenever there is no light which have resulted into several insults. My wife has been dragging me that I must buy a Geepee tank.

My salary as a private school teacher is barely enough to feed us talk more of saving to buy a Geepee tank especially in this economic crisis. In the midst of all these, my wife's phone went bad and needed a new one Just this afternoon, my wife started raining insults on me that I am not behaving like a man at all, that I should have settled down fully before thinking of marriage, that I want to make her go hungry. This was because I told her I would cut off some part of my salary to be saving so I can buy curtain for our room, television and save for Geepee tank. She even went ahead to say I am poor and wretched just because I can't afford her a new phone for now.

Since afternoon, I have refused to eat. My problem here is that my parents love my wife and my parents are far from where I reside. And I don't want to report my wife to my parents so it won't bring disrespect later to her in the future. Secondly, as the first born of my parent,I don't know how my parents will take it if I tell them I don't want to marry her again so they don't have b.p. I am really really confused. The little extra money I get from extra tutorial is what I do send to my two siblings in school even though is very little compare to their needs but at least it is something.

I feel like running away but to where? I truly love my wife but she is regretting marrying me. Please what can I do?
Do something about your financial IQ. From what you wrote, this is the cause of your problem.

Phones / Re: Best Online Businesses To Run With My 9.5 Million by inforesource: 8:10am On Mar 02

No matter how you try to sugarcoat it there is no tech work you can do with Nokia Xpress, I bought my first phone in 2003 and it was an Ericsson flip phone, the most expensive phone at the time. I can tell you for free that as expensive as that phone was you cannot do any tech work with it.
Nokia Xpress Music was a Java phone remember, you can't do anything with that phone in 2024.
Like I said 80k cannot get you a good phone presently, except you're buying IPhone 5 or 6 plus. Even Huawei Y9 is 120k and above.
I didn't write this piece for arguments or trying to prove anything. Every to himself and God for us all. I rest my case.

meet me. My goal is to minimize expenses because a bigger system is coming and a better phone is coming as well. Let start first. I live in IT world, so I know what I am saying.

I started my online venture with Nokia xpress music phone. So calm down. I'm I using that now, even though I am not a phone fan.

Ponzi is too risky

My advice, take 9.2m and put it in fix deposit since you do not master anything yet to handle the money. Take 100k and buy tokumbo Laptop and 80k for a good android phone. Keep the balance for data sub and learning free courses. Learn first before you put your money in what you don't know the onions. Also remember interest rate now is 22.7%.

And when the banks cannot give you your dollars on demand nko?

The government screwed up everything.
Honestly, this happened to me and I involved a lawyer. I was paid in foreign currency, prior to this time, I needed some fx to execute the project, so I went to the bank and point-blank, they said that they don't have fx that I should contact aboki, who later sold the fx for me at black market rate.

However, when I got paid and the money hit my account, the bank then said that I must sell it to them that that was the new policy then. After going back and forth, I involved my lawyer and I won.

So this issue has been around for many years now and it is caused by the banks themselves and the government. They should not do as if we don't know who are behind the fx issues.

I foresaw this solution to our Naira. I can say with all sense of responsibility that Nigeria is not this bad. Our economy is not this bad. People who manage the affairs of the country should be sincere and be ready to solve the myriads issues, which are teething anyway, facing the country.

Government should ban physical notes of foreign currencies. Everybody should use domiciliary accounts to receive and pay any foreign currency.

Or is there any reason why we hold foreign currencies notes in Nigeria?

I am OBIDIENT. I will always be except Obi changes his values.

I am not insensitive about the economic situation of the country but I am not moved. Many BATIST have denied their candidate after less than a year in the office. He has been called different names. In fact the hatred is out of this world.

However, I believe that this mountain the Tinubu administration is climbing has a plateau end. The right politicians and business men and women are the keys to the success.

I know many will want to come after me but this is the truth. I am enjoying myself. Next time you want to vote remove sentiments and be a citizen of Nigeria and not your region or ethnic group. I rest my case.

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: I Have Changed Since I Got A Job by inforesource: 11:28am On Jan 18

There's no two ways that unemployment is responsible for most of the crimes committed by young ones. I was there and I know it.

I used to do pilfering/petty theft to help myself. Even on this forum, I used to beg or try to swindle people to get any little financial favour just to survive because I didn't have a job.

Could you believe since I got a job (to God be the glory), none of such thought ever crossed my mind again?

With this, I wante to say every bad person out there deserve another chance with a job.

I have changed.
I disagree with you on this. Your real character is revealed during the time of trial. A dry wood will never bring forth water no matter how hard it is squeezed. The petty thieving you are talking about or any other bad character you were exhibiting will come alive in any life hard pressure again. So, what I'm I trying to say? They are just lying low waiting for next pressure time.

WORD FOR THE WISE:
Hard times come to strengthen our weaknesses, if you stay through, you build a long lasting virtue or character. So, do not allow pressure force out your weakness, instead, build strength in this period.

My life have been stagnant for like 4-5 years now. I work in a factory and I also sow clothes.
I've not been able to spend money on myself or to pursue my dream as a result of family responsibilities.
I'm a drop out of FUOYE and I'll so much love to go back to school but the plan has been failing for 2 years now.

I've obtained a part time form from Adekunle Ajasin University Ibadan campus last month hoping to start the new session next year but my problem now is that I have a brother that just finished HND 1, his rent has expired and he'll pay his school fees this January.
I paid his rent and school fees for HND 1 and he has notified me for HND 2.
My fear now is that time us running out for me (I'm 27yrs now) as I sincerely wanted to go back to school but I can't sponsor myself and two siblings.

Should I wait for another year or everybody should carry his cross?
Pursue your dream, go ahead and pay for your school and further your education after that see how both of you can settle the rent.
