Mattswaggz: AI can hardly replace humans given that it is only as good as what humans put into it or train it to do......another angle is that AI can be trained to elite level which would mean that provided the right engineers and resources is being put into it's training it is expected to get better with time and could still serve as a threat to human expertise in certain aspects of human endeavors... nonetheless, this move looks like a Greek gift....these self centered employees are looking to have these rehired engineers train the AI with their own knowledge/expertise which could mean that if everything goes well, they will still be disposable in the nearest future....if I were them I will either refuse to train the AI or ask that my pay be made x10 or even include a huge payout clause on my contract that if I am fired to be replaced by AI I will be paid a huge amount of money as compensation.
Yesterday AI told me not to use it without human supervision, that if I want to get the best out of the ai system I should pair it with human supervision.

An akara business is one of the lowest-cost food businesses in Nigeria with consistent daily demand. Customers include workers, students, commuters, market traders and households purchasing breakfast.
With good positioning, quality, and hygiene, a small roadside operation can generate **₦8,000–₦30,000+ daily profit**, depending on location and sales volume. Actual performance varies by location, pricing, ingredient costs, and waste. Food businesses in Nigeria continue to require careful planning because equipment, fuel, and ingredients have become significantly more expensive.
A busy location can exceed these figures, while a poor location may fall below them.
Best Locations
* Near bus stops * Markets * Schools * Universities * Office districts * Hospitals * Church entrances * Factory gates
Breakfast traffic (6:00–10:00 am) is usually the strongest.
Products to Sell Together
Increase average customer spend by offering:
* Akamu (pap) * Bread * Tea * Agbado * Soft drinks * Sachet water * Bottled water * Boiled eggs * Moi Moi *Hooooooneeeyyy
Many successful vendors earn as much from complementary items as from akara itself.
Marketing Strategy
* Bright, clean stall * Consistent taste * Fresh oil * Fast service * Bonus scheme ("Buy 10, get 1 free" * Early opening (before competitors)
Risks
* Rising bean prices * Rising cooking oil prices * Rain reducing foot traffic * Local government levies and thugs * Fire hazards * Environmental hygiene issues
Maintain a reserve fund and review prices regularly as ingredient costs change.
Growth Plan
Stage 1 (Months 1–6)**
* One roadside stall * Owner-operated * Build loyal customers
Stage 2 (Months 7–18)**
* Hire one assistant * Add pap and drinks * Increase production capacity
Stage 3 (Years 2–3)**
* Open additional stalls * Supply offices and schools * Introduce branded packaging
Success Factors
* High-footfall location * Consistent product quality * Clean frying oil * Fast customer service * Strict cost control * Fresh ingredients * Good hygiene * Accurate daily records of sales, costs, and waste
A well-run akara business can be started on a relatively modest budget and scaled into a multi-location, multi million naira enterprise by reinvesting profits and expanding into complementary breakfast products.
ebubeson: When you accept Jesus and become born again, all the sins you have ever committed are forgiven, your name is written in the book of life and you are heading to heaven.
Why restitution? There are people you may have stolen from, falsely accused, hurt so much etc. If as a born again Christian the HolySpirit reminds you to return a stolen property or money, to apologize to someone etc, then you have to make such restitution and do it, else if you don't, you are in disobedience and disobedience is sin. This kind of disobedience can only be remedied by repentance and restitution.
Lesson: Disobeying the HolySpirit not to do restitution will send you to hell fire.
The more REAL your born again become, the more real you must restitute.
"If I want money to do politics, I'd phone Bola Tinubu here, and I am sure before I get home, they'd give me the money. Hayatu-Deen has no money to give now."

is the kind of people we have in the leadership corridor of Nigeria. They do not know how to make money apart from begging those in Authority and power saddled with tax payers money.
During GEJ’s time, there was a similar scenario when schoolchildren from Chibok, Borno, were kidnapped. That single event destroyed the reputation of that government. Why? The government’s response was abysmally poor. The media outcry was overwhelming, and the government could not manage the situation. The opposition capitalized on it and became its loudest critics.
Beyond that, the president’s voice was weak and his posture negative. There was poor arsenal coordination and bad strategy. That was where they failed. Even though we knew the event had political undertones, that is not an excuse. A government remains a government if it knows what to do.
Fast forward to 2026: the strongest critics of the Chibok incident are now in power. Similar situations have occurred, though not on the same scale, but the pattern is the same. Yet they have woefully failed to manage it.
I only recently understood why the Tinubu government failed to act swiftly: they politicized the situation. How could they? When government fails to separate politics from governance, it becomes nonchalant about its responsibilities. When a government believes it can do anything and get away with it, it becomes casual with governance. This is usually caused by corrupt and weak institutions.
This government has failed to show commitment to the plight of citizens. It turned a deaf ear to their cries, became detached from their realities, and chose instead to focus on ambitions for the next election.
Unfortunately, that attitude may cost this government the next election. It may sound impossible, but do not underestimate what is brewing if there is no change of attitude. Personally, I decided to vote for this government in its first year and stood by it until I saw how careless it became with citizens’ lives. No, I could not endure it. The level of insecurity in the country has gone from bad to worse — the worst since Nigeria’s creation, or at least since I became an adult.
It is important to note that the primary responsibility of government is to protect the lives and property of citizens and provide social amenities. If any government fails in these, then it has truly failed.
In conclusion, what should this government do to salvage this gory situation?
1. As a matter of urgency, it should put pressure on security agencies to eliminate this menace within a set timeframe, or face dismissal or resignation.
2. The government should critically address citizens’ genuine cries regarding household expenditure, consumer goods affordability, and livelihoods. It must take swift, tangible actions — not paper policies — that meet current needs, while drafting long-term policies to address the root causes.
You can add yours. This is my thought. Thank you for your time.
Sirchiboy: Have you ever dropped from Grace to Grass financially?
How did you handle it?
Yes. In that kind of scenario, cut down on unnecessary spending, only very important things you must focus on. Shame is your friend but you don't send anybody. Let your family know and don't try to impress anybody. Lastly, have a hopeful route to exit. It will be hard if you were not a prayerful person before this season. But you can scale through because we have a loving and merciful Father, Jesus Christ.
escortafrik: I’m a lady in my mid-30s and life was going very well for me except for one thing everybody except me seemed obsessed with - marriage.
I have a good career, I’m financially stable, respected in my field, and I genuinely loved the life I built for myself. But every family gathering, every wedding, every phone call from relatives somehow turned into:
“So when are you getting married?” You’re not getting younger oo
Eventually, I met someone through mutual friends.
He was unemployed at the time, but that did not bother me much because he was intelligent, kind, calm, and surprisingly very knowledgeable in the same profession as me.
We connected deeply and for the first time in a long while, I felt like I had found the ‘one’
As our relationship became serious, I started helping him professionally too. I helped him restructure his CV, prepared him for interviews, connected him to opportunities, and eventually introduced him to my organisation when there was an opening.
Thankfully, he got the job.
I was genuinely happy for him because I knew how difficult things had been for him financially before then. And after he got the job, things became even sweeter between us.
And some month after he proposed to me ! my joy became complete! My family was overjoyed.
Then, just as our wedding plans were moving forward smoothly, the company we worked introduced a new policy stating that married couples could no longer work in the organisation together. Once two employees got married, one person would have to resign.
That was when the real problem started.
I assumed we would sit down and discuss it logically.
I have spent years building my career there. I’m more senior. I currently earn more. And if we’re being realistic, my position is more stable at the moment.
But my fiancé shocked me.
He told me I should be the one to resign because:
“I’m the man.”
Initially I didn’t take him seriously but as the wedding date drew closer, he kept pressuring me to resign !
I then reminded him that I was already established before he came into the company. I was the one who helped him get the opportunity in the first place. If anyone should logically stay, shouldn’t it be the person whose career was already firmly built there?
But he said it would be embarrassing for him as a man if he was the one leaving while his wife continued working there, that I could do something else like supermarket business.
Imagine !
Since then, everything has changed.
Wedding plans have paused. We now fight everyday Even his family are supporting him, telling me to resign ! my heart is broken.
Not just because of the job itself, but because I genuinely believed I was building a life with someone who saw me as an equal partner.
Well I have concluded that I won’t resign and I will also make sure he is sacked. No one should call me wicked because he is very wicked for wanting to do this to me.
By your writeup, stop the wedding. 1. Because you found a husband, he didn't find you. That's out of order. 2. Your submission to the man is already having issues. You don't know if it was a litmus test. 3. Pursue your career as it means so much to you. 4. It is not by force

Question-1.: According to Sections 65(b) and 138(1)(a) of the Electoral Act 2026, if a collation officer refuses to treat the disputes that were raised at his level of collation, and tells the party-agents that “all the disputes would all be treated together at the final level of collation”; but then, when all the disputes were gathered at the final collation level, the returning officer still would not treat the disputes which were accumulated before him, rather he told the party-agents to “GO TO COURT and file all your disputes inside your election petition”,...... Would that be enough grounds for the cancelling the election?
Answer.: Yes, this scenario describes clear non-compliance with collation procedures under the Electoral Act 2026.
Sections 62 and related provisions require collation officers and returning officers to address and resolve disputes/complaints raised by party agents at their level using polling unit data, accreditation records, and transmitted results — and not defer everything or dismiss them outright.
Telling agents to “Go To Court” without proper handling of the disputes that were raised violates the rules of the Electoral Act. This can be a ground for an election petition under Section 138(1), which includes non-compliance. If the non-compliance is proven to be substantial, the court may nullify the election and order a fresh one.
Evidence which include witnesses, videos, and forms would be needed to prove this non-compliance in the court.
..
..
Question-2.: If a returning officer refuses to settle the disputes that were raised by the party agents and tell them to “Go To Court”, then it means that the whole of the election is already flawed, since the breach by the returning officer affected the whole of the results of that election which he poorly handled (being that the returning officer is the final collation officer in that particular election).
Answer.: Yes, that is true.
Refusing to resolve party agents' disputes at the collation/returning officer level breaches the Act's procedures as stated in Section 65(b).
This amounts to non-compliance under Section 138(1)(a); and thus, the returning officer saying “Go To Court” without resolving the disputes that were raised is actually a substantial ground to petition the election tribunal for the invalidation of the election.
If it substantially proven at the tribunal (with enough evidence) that those raised disputes (which were not treated by the returning officer affected) the overall results, then the election would be cancelled, and an order for a fresh election would be given by the tribunal.
Sinkara: Please help me I can't seem to concentrate I masturbate everyday And if I get small money, I go to brothel, have sex with more than 3 girls and still go home and masturbate I guess alcohol is my major problem because I tend to make these brothel decisions when I'm drunk Working in the brewery doesn't help me, I have access to alcohol a lot So I have made a decision going forward to avoid alcohol If I do that, my brothel addiction will reduce a lot But for masturbation, it's really hard to go 3 days without masturbating I don't know how I can tackle that
