I have exhausted scarce resources to attend interviews, editing and re-editing resumes to fit a certain role and position, cost of transportation, I don't want to even mention having to trek a long distance sometimes due to lack of fund to pay Tfare. I mean someone is broke and hungry and trying his best to land a job but he's rather receiving rejection mails. What is this?

On Monday, I received a rejection mail from automobile company where I applied for a marketing role. On Tuesday, I received another one from a production factory.

Now I just returned from another job hunting only to open my mail and saw another rejection mail. This very one pain me most because I had high hope on it and i have spent so much on it too. During the second stage of the interview, I can remember how I waited from 8am till 5pm just to see 'Oga', and after seeing him, I began to walk my way home and got home late. I know i'm sounding sentimental here but it's so annoying that i went through all that 'ontop empty belle' and at the end, I wasnt offered the job.

Very very painful and morale killing.

I feel so bad right now.

Feels like the world has crashed.

35 years is over ripe for marriage, what is worrying about your post is that I can't find solid focus and dream of where you want to be. Also you mentioned baby mama as an option. I don't think you should go into marriage yet. You need to hold Jesus Christ tight first, get more mental capacity and train yourself on the marriage path, get all the knowledge required before you venture into it.

So leave the age matter first.

I see a post that says that NNPC will not be the sole importer of petroleum products henceforth. Were they not suppose to give out licenses out by now? Imagine if Bovas is given the license to import, other marketers will sweat, seriously.

One thing I don't like about Nigerian leaders is that they are not sincere and do not have the Nigerians at heart. They are very cunny and lies a lot. They play politics with virtually every thing and don't care about anybody. That is why I am asking this question so that tomorrow they won't come back to tell us that they are spending a lot on fuel subsidy. We have seen this many times over the past 8 years.

It's amazing that even the so called subsidy is very laughable. Look at it. A country has crude oil, take it out of the country where about 3 refinaries are left in comatose, took her crude oil and export it to refine, import it back into the same country they took it from and pay huge amounts to subsidize it in foreign currency. I think Nigerians are not ready yet.

Why did I have to raise this question? I believe if it was subsidy removal as they call it, then NNPC fuel stations would not be determining the price, rather, market forces should. I know the major and the only marketer responsible for bringing in the petroleum products is the NNPC, so who are they competing with? Don't tell me Dangote refinary because we know the shareholders and their shares allotment.

Oh Nigeria!!! I don't have any problem with buying or fueling my car or business with this high price of fuel, but are these guys truthful at all?

I lost my job last year July, and so a friend of mine introduce me to a poultry farm where I am earning 22k per month.

A man with wife and two kids o, my wife was not happy with the job even though she has been supportive in her own little way. And then, she suggested that I should learn handwork, and so I decided to learn welder.

On getting to the man, he told me I will spend 2 years o, I will pay 70k to learn from him. Me way I no get even 20k, I begged him to collect 50k and he agreed.

Then he asked me to make part payment of 30k. I went home and told my wife, and then she gave me 20k to give to the man. I gave the man 20k and he collected it, to my greatest surprise within 2 months I started doing the welding job perfectly.

On my own, I have paid up the remaining 30k with small small repairs job he allowed me to be doing for people. And by God's grace, I have started saving up for my tools.

I really thank my wife for the advice and the welder too. The man has been a tremendous blessing to me in many way. He even told me yesterday that with the look of things I may be free from him in 2 months time except I decided to still remain with him for a while.

Please take charge of your life and stop depending on people for survival.
