My life have been stagnant for like 4-5 years now. I work in a factory and I also sow clothes.
I've not been able to spend money on myself or to pursue my dream as a result of family responsibilities.
I'm a drop out of FUOYE and I'll so much love to go back to school but the plan has been failing for 2 years now.

I've obtained a part time form from Adekunle Ajasin University Ibadan campus last month hoping to start the new session next year but my problem now is that I have a brother that just finished HND 1, his rent has expired and he'll pay his school fees this January.
I paid his rent and school fees for HND 1 and he has notified me for HND 2.
My fear now is that time us running out for me (I'm 27yrs now) as I sincerely wanted to go back to school but I can't sponsor myself and two siblings.

Should I wait for another year or everybody should carry his cross?

Pursue your dream, go ahead and pay for your school and further your education after that see how both of you can settle the rent.

Is it normal that no one has ever gifted me anything on special occasions? I'm talking about Valentine, birthday and Christmas. I am 29, and since I became anything close to an adult, I've never had anyone care for me enough to show me love on these special days. Not from family, not from friends.

Hi landers, there's this thing about female handwork that I have been thinking about, while growing up male child is open to different handwork which we all know, unlike the female ones that either learn tailoring or hairdresser/makeup, I would have added catering but they don't count that as handwork because it is something they easily learn from home, so there was a day I was having a conversation with my female colleague and she said she wants to learn makeup and then I asked her why, her reply was if she did learn makeup which other handwork can she learn apart from Hairdresser and Tailor, which brings the question apart from Hairdresser and Tailor which other handwork can a lady learn?

PS: I am not talking about online skills.

Free things in this country is of no use. Why not charge little amount for maintenance, refuelling and management cost, at least it will help prolong the durability of the program.

Many times these guys don't do analytical thinking or even common thinking before they do things. Instead, everything is based on emotion, politics, or just out of common sense. A little fare is ok. If cost of a distance is N100, you can charge N50 or 30. This will really help to sustain the program if it is utilized well

It's 2.47 am here but I can't sleep, I hardly sleep these days.

My whole world is crumbling.
I have been a regular guest here for awhile now but had to register this morning, I need somewhere to pour out my heart, somewhere to dump my frustrations.

I came from a good, not so rich home but my parents were so hardworking.I had a good moral upbringing, went to tertiary institution and graduated with good grades.

While in school, I never had a boy friend though I had a lot of "chykers", never went clubbing, didn't socialize much.

Few months to the end of my NYSC, I met my husband. We got talking and boom, I fell in love with him. He is my ideal man....he doesn't drink nor smoke, gentle and soft spoken.

He wasn't earning much but it didn't bother me. I believe in working hard and growing with my man.

Now my regrets...
* The "angel" I married has refused to get a job after losing the last one during COVID 19.

He said he can never work in a private company again. His target is multinationals.

I encouraged him to pick up a job with private company while hoping for a bigger fish at least to support in taking care of the needs at home but he said no.

I'm left with taking care of our 3 kids, feeding, school fees and virtually every need at home. All he does is press phone, gamble and sleep.

Now our rent is due, no money.
I married as a virgin, married for love and not money, work my ass off, doing so many side hustle to shoulder the expenses at home. I'm tired. I regret all these.

When I see my "unserious" classmates on social media and sometimes offline, I weep. See them living large. I thought all the sacrifices I made way back will pay off now.
I have made up my mind that if he doesn't fix the rent, I will move back to my parent's house.

The only thing that worries me about your post is that part of your husband gambling. If truly he is into gambling then you must be worried. However, instead of complaining pray for him to turn a new life. Also, because you married as a virgin does not exempt you from the challenges of life and marriage in particular. You should invest your time in prayer and fasting for your family as a whole. Marriage is facing a lot of challenges this days and mere men won't be able to overcome it because your opposer is very serious and more determined. Be wise.

Am currently in a relationship with a 31yr old lady for about 2 month now.
She want to buy iPhone 12pro max and she doesn't have the total money.
She has being complaining about how her phone (techno phantom) isn't good enough for pictures and videos bla bla bla from the time we met.

In my last relationship I actually helped my ex get iPhone Xsmas, she didn't have the total money aswell and I added about 55k to get it for her which I later regret with every blood in me and now the same scenario is happening again.

From my calculations she is about 70k-80k short of the money to get the phone and honestly I don't have a dime to give cos only a foolish idiot will make the same mistake thrice.

She emotionally blackmailing me and I can't take it anymore.......at 31yrs I expect more understanding and more important priorities.

Bad sign and before I conclude, is the pictures she is snapping for business purposes and bringing profit? If yes, How much is the business bringing? Lastly, if the Iphone is for business, then she should allow the business produce the phone. This is how to measure this. If there is no clear response to these questions, then......

All this years i have been praying for financial breakthrough but to no avail, all i keep experiencing is near success syndrome , attimes i feel like God has left me i don't really know what's up anymore,,but i know i haven't committed any sin that will make God to turn back on me and my family, am not saying that am not a sinner but seriously i know what am saying and what am going through...I don't know if anyone of you have ever been in my shoe.

Your mind is your problem. God does not favor someone because he or she is not committing sin.
