He'll work in the hospital as what??
That is why I first ask why the OP ask where he/she can work apart from mortuary. So I made it soft for him/her and answered hospital. Is like he/she doesn't like the word mortuary. My advice to those who are going into university is that they should seek counseling before embarking on it. Work environment has changed drastically.

Imagine, just few years ago coding and programing was a hot cake, just as I am typing now AI is spoiling business for that industry. How do you explain someone want to build a website, went to an AI tool, typed all requirement and boom, the site is ready? Life has so change and the current change is as fast as the speed of light.

Enice:
what the word "and" means is that you are lumping up two different things. What do I mean, Abuja is not a state, so it will not be right to say 37 states. That is why the "and" word is used. Just like saying 36 boys and a girl. They are all humans but they are different. But the constitution in its wisdom also say for the sake of interpretation, Abuja should be seen as a state. That does not stop Abuja from being the FCT. Example, for interpretation, the girl should be seen as a boy. It means whenever any issue arises, no special treatment would be given to the girl. Let's say, a teacher gives a task, " you boys should go and cut the grass" the girl cannot say she's not a boy therefore she would not partake in the task.
Ah! Boy is different from a girl ooo. They are human but status and privileges are not the same going by your examples.

. The intention is for the purpose of declaring a presidential winner.
It's just like the America collegial votes... Even if you win the popular vote and fail to win collegial votes, you can't be declared winner. So in all, it is a constitutional requirements to be declared a winner.
I think you nailed it. But if that is the case, it should be stated clearly without ambiguity. I had an argument among the lawyers that Nigeria constitution do not recognize any electoral colleges.

So, I suspect you already know the answer to the question you asked. For clarity, the intention of the framers is to avoid a silo presidency. That means, a candidate, having received a majority of votes cast, must also demonstrably enjoy popularity among Nigerian ethnicities, not only from his tribe or ethnicity.

Where do you find a convergence of every member of Nigeria's ethnic group today, the FCT. The constitution writers intend Nigeria's president to have received 1/3 of the votes cast in our center of unity. Predictably, Tinubu's team knew their party will face difficulty in this location, but they did not anticipate the low level of votes harvest on their behalf.

This is the major reason behind Mahmood Yakubu's hasty 4 am winner declaration while Nigerians slept. APC Governors subjected Yakubu to intense pressure to declare him the winner to forestall the possibility of collation halt through an ex-parte court order later in the day.
To be honest with you, I don't know why or the intent of this section of the constitution. But as you have just stated, it may have been the case but for me there is no state in Nigeria you won't find convergence of all tribe. In fact if there's any state that assumes that position it should be Lagos.

Joke apart and away from all the brouhaha of the word AND in wining the presidential election in Nigeria.

What really was the intention of this conjunction? To be honest, what that place says is that a winner of presidential election in Nigeria MUST win Abuja as well. This is the simple truth, but my question is, what was the intention of the law?

I think it can be reviewed because for me, it is not making any sense at all, except there was a very cogent reason(s) for that clause.

However, I am not trying to say that Tinubu won the election because I saw the daylight fraud INEC did. If INEC had done well, very few people will complain, but they did not. So do not mix up my write up.

Modified:
I just saw this in the front page of nairaland

https://www.nairaland.com/7653249/prof-osunbor-no-place-constitution

Do you see what I am talking about? Though this is saying there is no place in our construction that mentions that, but it is a lie. This is the problem I have with most Nigerians. Instead of denying something that is staring at you, simply confront it. That is why I am asking this question that what was the intention of the clause? I thank God for some response here. It quite revealing.

It's good you have woken up... That does not still remove the fact that as it stands today, you don't have any legacy or innovation or invention attached to your name.. This should tell you that it's not easy as said...

It takes extreme dedication, intelligence and hardwork to improve humanity in a way that you put your name in the history of mankind...

For now, child birth, family and properties are what many Africans are remembered for...
That is exactly the extreme I am going, you can bookmark this page. We shall see in the nearest future. When I said I woke up, it doesn't mean that I was all sleeping, but I have attained another dimension and I am working from that position. Meet me there if you can.

Talk is cheap

Do you think I just woke up, took my system and start typing? Or you think it was very sweet for me to type it? When this thought went through my mind and I began to list names of great people who left their footprints in the sand of time, then it occurs to me what really matters in life. This thought has remove some sleeps from my eyes and repositioned my perspective about what really matters. That is what it is. Not being sentimental on serious issues of life.

In Africa, you hear men scrambling for a boy child so that their names can be preserved. They put their wives under unnecessary pressure because of a male child. Threatening to marry new wives if she doesn't give birth to a male child.

Meanwhile, in truth these men are weak, they lack inventions and don't have any impact on the sand of time.

In other climes, men like Karl Friedrich Benz is not known by how many boys he had but Mercedes benze is known all over the world. What about the Wright Brothers, who invented planes? How many male children did they have but their dynasties are known from generation to generation.

So, man next time you hide under the guise of leaving legacy through your male child, kindly ask yourself what your inventions are.

Dear Nairalanders, i am not really good posting my issues online. But this time i need your advise.

I have been married for 9 years now and my sister inlaw has been living with us( I, my wife and the kids) for the past 6 years now, although I am not always around.
I have never imagine any negative thoughts toward her. I always see her like my younger sister, i have been taken care of her. She is 28 years old and I can't really says if she have a boyfriend cos I haven't see one around her. She is a boss in her working place but yet i foots all her bills in the house without bothering anyone, including my wife that is also a boss .Until of recent she started wearing seductive clothes around the house, Some how i started developing feelings for her As if she knows, she continues wearing those clothes and started showing more caring towards me.
I can't believed that i am having feelings for my sister inlaw cos i am a disciplined man to the core. Even during university days girls do come to my apartment passed a night without molesting them. I am well brought up. But is like that disciplined man in me started degenerating as i began to see this girl in my dreams.
There was a night i returned from travelled, i started feeling the urge to go to her room. My wife almost cought me that night cos we lives in 3 bedroom, I have my own room, my wife have her own and my sister inlaw have her own room. So we sleep in separate rooms except some occasions my wife decided to stay in my room. That night i was pimping through her door. I have been trying to control my feelings and I believed the reason why I have not sleep with her is because i am not always around and I also the fear of traditions implications of sleeping with sister inlaw . And my wife is not helping matters, she can leave both of us alone in d house and go to all night church program and the children will be sleeping.

I don't really know what to do. Should I tell my wife so that we can get her accommodation or just let the sleeping dog be. Though I don't really want her to leave cos is my wife and the children are alone in the compound. I just want to kill that urge before I return from travel.

Sorry for the long episode ..😀
Oga sir, this coal fire you are trying to carry in your pucket, you will not like the scare it will leave in your body ooo.

Which is easier, to tell your wife and get loose or keep it secret and get burnt?

A word is enough for the wise.

Pray and pray and pray. It is spiritual. It is a battle you have to win on your knees. Nothing will change that woman if you don't invest your time in prayer.

tomi4life:
I am 35 and my wife is 29, we have been married for 6 years now, we have 2 children a boy and a girl. We didnt court much during our courtship because of long distance.

I really have a problem with my wife and not sure what can be done to address, now I must be very honest am not sure there is anything I can do I just want to use the platform to vent my frustration.

My marriage has not been very good, lately myself and my wife leave like room mates and not lovers, despite the age difference between me and my wife she doesnt really respect me. For the 6 years we have been in marriage 3 things have caused all our fights: cooking, Sex and finance

My wife rarely cooks in the house, things around welfare are not taken seriously, actually in a week, my wife can cook for me just 1 time. She cooks for the children and baths for them daily, we also have a help who does alot of cooking. She rarely askes me what I will eat, honestly I always have to go to the kitchen to sort myself, sometimes I buy food outside from eateries and bucker. Sometimes when she cooks it usually very late 10pm. I have complained severally and what happen is she tries to change, after a week, we are back to the same state. My wife can do without cooking for me for weeks. It really really pains me cos am a foody and I knw hw my mum treats matters of food. she is this person that forms busy, either she is busy with work or some church activities, she always has an excuse. She goes to work only ones a weeks the remaining 4days are remote. To address this issue I now order soups from major restaurant outlets, An example is today easter sunday, I had to tell our maid to prepare rice for myself and the kids, cos my wife was in church, we all went to church but she decided to stay back, knowing fully well no food was prepared.

Sex: our sex life is very boring, when we got married we always fight about sex, cos anytime I ask for it she always complain she is tired, so what I now do is ask for it only sat morning, brethen this is only day I get sex. If I miss that day, it is still next week. We sleep in different rooms, she sleeps with the children in the master bedroom while I sleep alone in another room. I can tell most time she doesnt enjoy it and never ever askes for it, I always ask and initiate it. She just lays like a log, even kisses is a no no, except she is really on, which rarely happens.

Finance:
I have always earned more than my wife, when we got married, I was earning 3 times what she was earning, but she changed jobs and got promoted severally and we were earning the same amount. she also does alot of side runs where she gets 200-300k monthly as side hustle, there was even a time she was earning more than I did. I dint let it bother me I continue to foot the entire house bills. 95% of the enitre house of comes from me, she only pays the maid , buys cooking gas and my sons diaper. Every other thing in the house is covered by me, house rent, school fees, project, all the bills. I give her 75k as food money monthly. I have continue to question her why I should give her food moeny if I still have to end up going out to eat. I think the only reason she sometime listens to me is cause i still provide the finances for the house. The time she was earning more I could see how she belittle some of my decisions. I just prayed to God, cos I noticed the respect was gone, when I talk to her about her role as a mum and mother to the home, she says she is working, she is busy, I mentioned to her that the money she works is for her, she doesnt share with the house, I have never asked her for it and am not against her working, she however should not neglect her responsibility as a mum. That my role as a father, God helping me is to provide, and this is why I work. I also noticed when I got a new job and my salary increased she kinda off felt jealous she didnt tell me but i noticed it, she began to aggressively look for jobs.

I really dont think we have that initmacy, we are just there, my wife cant come to tell me anything bothering her, she keeps to herself. Funny part is she is a very religious person, my wife will sleep with bible on her hand, wake up with bible pray and serve in various church unit, I however dont think she really understands what she reads. She also has a very bad temper sometimes when I raise certian issues, the ways she talks sometimes I have to hold back a response if not the whole thing will escalate. There are days I will raise certain issue up, the next things she mentions is " let just dissolve this marriage as it is not working" sometimes , I just refer her to her bible cos the utterances that come out of her mouth makes me doubt her understanding of Christianity.

I have never assaulted her, we have nt had any physically fight, what happens is most times when we have issues, I dont speak to her for days, then she come back apologizing. Sometimes when am wrong I also apologies.

Am not saying am perfect, I know there are areas I can do better, like in the buying off gift, I rarely buy her gift, not cause I cant but Cos she earns well and I believe she should buy whatever she needs with her money my wife earns approximately 800k monthy.

I expect my wife will support me but it like she is stressing me. when we go see my parent or our parent, it is all smiles, they dont knw hw stressful their daughter is, she even forms trying to serve me food and all.

Dont get me wrong she has some good side, but this thing is really getting into me. I dont drink, smoke or womanise, divorce is also not on the table for me.

Politics / Subsidy Removal: $800m Palliative, Invest in Power by inforesource: 10:45am On Apr 07, 2023
Can we be serious for once? In my little research on why fuel price hike tends to affect Nigerians, l have discovered that many Nigerians relies on fuel in almost everything due to epileptic power supply in the country. If electricity is taken care of, I bet you very few Nigerians will care about whether there is fuel or not. I personally don't buy fuel always for my car but for office purposes. If I fill my car tank, God knows when I will visit the fuel station again. But for my generator, hmmm, almost every other day due to epileptic power supply.

So, what's my point here? That $800m should be used to install free meter for all Nigerians homes, buy new transformers, improve transmission lines and in addition, FG should make it mandatory for the electricity generating companies to measure electricity consumption only through meters.

FG should forget this scam called palliative. We saw their implementation on covid and many other programs. So they should spare us that bullish..t.
