This is to inform all those who applied for the 2016 Chevron Students’ Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) also known as I.T ( Industrial Attachment) that invitation for the Aptitude test has been sent to all candidates who have been enlisted for the third batch of the exam.

Below is a sample of Email sent to all invited candidates.

Do not reply to this email, as the sending address cannot accept responses.

Further to your application for the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) with Chevron Nigeria Limited, you have been invited for an aptitude test.

The test has three (3) sections: Verbal Reasoning, Numerical Reasoning and Abstract Reasoning.

This test will be administered electronically, kindly ensure that you are at the centre with a print out of this e-mail and a print out from FOT http://candidate.fot.com.ng. NOTE: You MUST UPLOAD a copy of your passport before printing from FOT.

Your test details are as below:

Please do not be at the centre earlier than 30 minutes to the commencement of the test for registration, and endeavor to arrive not later than 15 minutes before your scheduled test time. You are to come along with valid identification e.g. Student ID-Card, International Passport, National ID, or Driver’s License. (Note: Ordinary photographs or photographs stamped before being attached to an identification document are not acceptable).

NOTE:
All electronic devices, including Cell Phones, USBs, Cameras, bags (personal belongings), packages etc. are prohibited at the Test Centers. Candidates who refuse to comply with instructions will not be allowed to take the test.

Also note that the following are banned from Test Centers:

(a) Wallets
(b) Loitering – (Early arrival /Late departure
(c) Arrival with friend/escort
(d) Calculators are NOT allowed for this test.

If you are required to come to the test centres with medicines, cash, keys (without key rings), all must be in a transparent nylon/ziplock bag

Candidates found attempting to cheat/beat the system will be disqualified.

GENERAL TEST INSTRUCTIONS:

When you arrive, checks will be conducted for prohibited items at the gate of the test venue and entrance into the test hall.

When you are cleared from the gate, you are required to do a quick biometric registration. Candidates are advised to dress presentably, as pictures taken during biometric registration are made available to the client.

The test is timed, and will last approximately one hour.
Your username and password are on this email and will be required to log-in into the system for the test.

Please note test holds same day in Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Abuja and Warri

To change your test venue and time schedule, Kindly log on at http://candidate.fot.com.ng, click on change schedule and choose your preferred venue and time slot.

Candidates will not be reimbursed for transportation to and from the venues of the test by either Dragnet Solutions Limited or Chevron Nigeria Limited.

I saw a post recently on a site that have got me amazed. It’s about the concept of an ad that is refreshingly new. I’m sure other campaigns will copy it. What’s intriguing is the fact that the brand ambassador, Funlola was transformed into an elderly man. You would not believe that this was the Funlola we all know and fell in love with in Tinsel.

The shots which is used to promote the Mamador brand, is a nice and highly creative. I wonder what other celebs will look like if they were transformed to an older version of the opposite sex.

ELEGLIBILITY: qualify for consideration, an applicant MUST:
Be a registered FULL TIME undergraduate in a recognized Nigerian University
Be a certified 100 or 200 level student at the time of application
NOTE: The following categories of students need not apply

• Students with less than 200 score in UTME

• 200 Level Students with less than 2.50 CGPA on 5-point scale, or equivalent
