We'll likely lose Dani Olmo and pau vitor in the next few hours since the last VIP seats sales option have been rebuffed, between bartomeu and laporta I don't know who to blame again.
Laporta is solely to blame for this nonsense. He had 4 months to wrap this up and prepare before time elapsed. Why wait till the dying minutes.

Christensen was used as the gimmick to get him registered earlier, so how did they not figure out something needs to be done before now.
Atrocious squad planning of you ask me.

The delays to the Nike deal, Camp Nou extra delays and this return to 1:1 cat and mouse game of smoke screen is becoming annoying and should warrant a sack for anyone who goofed this much.

Blonde short hair, Glen Powell type looking dude.
Why TF would anyone cast Powell as Aquaman? 🙄 Lame @ss casting if you ask me and hardly really gels with his acting persona.

I'd much prefer someone in the shape of Alexander Ludwig. Has the looks and profile for Arthur Curry.

Pahe dot ink
PSA.wf
these two got you group files in single folders as well as individual. Make sure you know how to navigate the @ds tho. Pahe is better with the @ds but PSA sometimes has slightly more sharper pic quality.

Lightdl dot xyz for individual movies or episodes with direct l!nk$ for downlöad.

You see, the site just make up rules as the day goes without prior notice, been on here 10 years plus and still haven't still gotten the hang of it....it limits me to 4 most of the time.
It's actually 8 max. On my Abduleez account I can upload 8 pics.
On this I think it's about 5/6. But I can't post more than 4 pics within an hour.

Prolly time to see it. Using this to usher November won't be bad. 🤔

It's because of politics, Clint Eastwood just turned out to be a republican.
Also, Juror is actually making a lot of money from previews looks like they'll be forced to give it a semi-wide release
Yeah, I know it's doing good overseas. Hoping it gets at least 1500 screens even if it's for 3 weeks.

I thought Zaslav would be someone who would be a republican. 🤔

The Oscars campaign of WB and David Zaslav is sheer clownery. Don't know what Joker and Furiosa are doing at their submissions list.

Why are they not promoting Juror #2 at all and not giving it a chance. Barely 50 screens is literally leaving it out to d!e. I don't understand Zaslav's problem with Clint Eastwood. I remember him complaining about WB giving money to the director for Cry Macho when the merger just completed. That's where his popular comment came from "Its show business, not show friends!". I'm almost very certain this move is directly a fallout from Zaslav.

Joker is dëad on arrival but it has a slim chance with Best Cinematography and Score. Furiosa has lost any momentum it had going for it. Only hope is Best Cinematography, VFX and Editing which it would be facing stiff competition from sister movie DUNE PART TWO.

With that amount for production I can assure you that movie is flopping and not making bank.

I don't think audiences care much for these movies.
At best this is doing $300mn at the BO mainly cos of Brad Pitt.

Apple TV plus should just change their strategy. This splashing $200-300mn flicks cos of prestige ain't gonna work.

Probably the reason why they've quit the theatrical business.

Thanks for bringing me up to speed because believe you, me, Anora is the only movie on there, that i have even heard whiff about, i didn't follow the film festival season this year at all.

My context of favouring "DUNE: Part 2" stem from the fact that, it excelled in every department in my POV and it's the only one i have actually seen first hand, and not what some jurors at a film festival are saying, but i failed to bring to bare that, one key ingredient of Oscar Best Picture nod in recent times, is to be an artsy and arthouse flick passing some kind of social conscious message ((dangerously close to using the word, "woke" here😩). I mean i just googled the "Emilia Pèrez" flick, and one word that stuck out was "transitioning", like DUNE:Part 2 stands no chance against a flick like this, this is the Oscar Jurors bread and butter!.

The last 4 best picture wins, before last year, were CODA, Nomadland, EEAAO, and if you look closely, there is a defined pattern and requirements that sadly, DUNE:Part 2 doesn't meet.
Yep. Just like you said DUNE PART TWO lacks the flavour which is synonymous to Oscar glory and the fact it was released farther up in March has reduced its momentum. If it released now, maybe it has the chance.
Same situation I see for GLADIATOR II. They'll both get Best Picture noms but I don't see them winning.

Films like THE BRUTALIST coupled with an A24 marketing as well as ANORA from Neon and CONCLAVE from Focus Features has the requisite flair for that AMPAS artsy flavour.

It's this woke message I feel might help THE SUBSTANCE gain at least an acting nom for Demi Moore.

But this year seems to be the most competitive for Best Foreign Film: ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT, THE SEED OF A SACRED FIG and EMILIA PEREZ really looking like a slugfest.

Me, I just can't wait for these various films to be available on the high seas lemme see what the buzz is about but I'm positive we'd have better contenders quality list compared to last year.

With the Gotham Awards kicking off Awards season soon we'd start seeing the movies picking momentum.

Broo..that list..which movies are even those?? 😩😩😂.... haven't even seen any buzz or even heard about like 70% of them and suddenly they are getting Oscar shouts??

Maybe, am been slow to movie news these days cuz i have heard fk all about the movies on that list, but certainly looks like a mid fest oscar, if those are the movies in contention imo...fingers crossed tho.
Nah bro.... Nothing mid in this year's contenders compared to last year. Last year had Oppenheimer being the clear favourite all through the year. This one is very much competitive. You've also not seen almost all of the named films as they've mostly been available at film festivals.
I'd say you're very much not up to date in current awards buzz and campaign for this year cos I've seen buzz for literally all the movies on that list except probably A Real Pain with very recent buzz.

ANORA is the 2024 Palme d'Or winner making it the fifth win in a row for NEON. Its a major contender for Best Picture.

EMILIA PEREZ has Best Actress wins for its lead actresses (Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldana, +2 others) and won the Jury Prize — the 3rd most coveted award at Cannes.

THE ROOM NEXT DOOR won the Golden Lion prize at Venice.

CONCLAVE recently started its push and it's an overwhelming favourite for Best Picture win. With Ralph Fiennes being the favourite for Best Actor.

THE BRUTALIST won Silver Lion at Venice for Best Director. With Adrien Brody having good shouts for Best Actor nom.

BABYGIRL has a Best Actress Volpi Cup win for its lead Nicole Kidman in Venice.

THE PIANO LESSON has very good buzz for Best Supporting Actress role for D@nielle Dëàdwylér and Supporting Actor for Samuel L Jackson.

BLITZ just came out and has good shouts for Saoirse Ronan for Best Actress and Best Picture nom.

QÜEER has good buzz for Daniel Craig for Best Actor.

MARIA has been gaining momentum with Best Actress shouts for Angelina Jolie since it debuted at Venice. She was the frontrunner for a while before Demi Moore started gaining prominence with THE SUBSTANCE — which I doubt the Academy will acknowledge given their history with horror genre.

There's also other smaller films just starting their campaigns like JUROR #2, NICKEL BOYS, NOSFERATU and foreign submissions like THE SEED OF THE SACRED FIG & ALL WE IMAGINE AS LIGHT with major wins in Cannes for both.

As for WICKED, I don't know wtf that movie is doing there. Seems like Ariana Grande fans wants to force the movie in the conversation cos of its box office potential.

This year might be the most interesting and competitive we've seen in years. With no crystal clear winner. Even the overwhelming favourites look not strong enough to dominate all major categories like OPPENHEIMER and SHOGUN has done earlier this year.

I don't see DUNE PART TWO winning Best Picture or the acting categories but it will be dominant in Best Cinematography, Director, VFX, Makeup, Editing and Costume, Best Score etc. It strengths is in the technical awards.
TV/MoviesRe: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IngeniousLeez:
oyaskii:
If Gladiator II dips, "DUNE: Part 2" is the clear favourite to win it imo. I can't explain it, but barely any other movie bar these 2, on that list, has the flair or charisma to be best picture imo.

In hindsight, it might be a free hit season at Best Picture this time around, unlike last year when "Oppie" was the overwhelming favourite, as soon as everyone saw the movie, it instantly clocked, that no other movie was gonna top it 😩, basically game over by 21/7/23, barely half of the movie year gone at that point...see Christopher Nolan is really that Guy 👌🏿.

Come to think of it, i haven't seen any overwhelming individual performances that are pulling clear of the male and female lead cate...i think, it is only Demi Moore that even remotely deserves a shout at this point...This movie year maann...uncanny to say the least.
CONCLAVE is having increasing shouts to become the best movie judging by recent polls.
Somehow to me DUNE Part II don't have enough juice to win Best Picture. Surely will get nominated but that March release puts it farther away from voters consciousness — unless WB kickstarts a mad marketing campaign. Gladiator II has the upper hand here. But still something tells me the prestigious award ain't going to them both. My guess is to either CONCLAVE, ANORA or THE BRUTALIST.

For the acting categories Mikey Madison in ANORA seems to be getting the most shouts alongside Angelina Jolie for MARIA. Ralph Fiennes looks like the overwhelming majority to win the Best Actor, to a lesser extent Adrien Brody too. As for the rest, anything can happen.

Like you said, this season its anything goes unlike last year when it was clear who were the Best Pic, Best Actor and Supporting Actor.
Here's VARIETY's predictions below. 👇🏽👇🏽

TV/MoviesRe: What Movie Are You Watching Now? by IngeniousLeez: 8:09pm On Nov 03, 2024
Seems Lionsgate made a wise call giving Universal the rights to International distribution, so they can tap from Universal's incredible marketing.

The writer and director looks to be good choices as well as the cast.
Fingers crossed on how this pans out. I'm still very skeptical of it. Biopics of many of these famed singers no one passed $300mn worldwide except Bohemian Rhapsody. But MJ is in a league of his own. So let's see.

Even without marketing, it would definitely make a billion. Abduleez doesn’t understand how insanely popular MJ is. MJ has been popular since the 70s till now I.e old folks, millennials, zoomers are fascinated with his life - for a 7 years old to even know his face is insane. An MJ movie would be an event. Music is so universal just as MJ - his song was pop, rock, dance, country and even r&b
Make we dey look. E no far again.

Cassado be breaking defenses with wicked passes and also making tackles

Many of our goals this season came from taking risks

Cassado : Assist against Bayern
Assist against Madrid
Assist against espanyol

This is a defensive midfielder, but the other guy is to be playing safe ,una no see as second half no sweet
Very nonsensical play.
There was one play we broke their attack and instead of De Jong to find someone upfront to move our counter attack the mad man passed the ball backwards. 😡

He's not even good at passes sef to begin with with so many stray balls falling to the opposition. They just hijacked that midfield.
