Just finished S1. It's major genre is drama but it has copious dose of what I'd call dark comedy.
That Roman is a fvvking Clown. Tom Wamsgams is a wannabe clown that hides his inadequacies or miserable self in clownish jokes.

Disney's hopes now are on 20th Century movies and Pixar's Wish. E go pain me sha if Disney somehow finds a way to top 2023 total domestic box office gross ahead of Universal despite having several low performing movies.

All this can't be a fluke.... Couple it with the fact that it got an A CinemaScore directly from moviegoers coming out of theatres. It's incredible Monday legs, this is bodying any movie coming out.

Elemental only seems to be the odd one out not suffering from Barbenheimer supremacy.

I'm really happy Oppenheimer is doing superb as well. I always thought those $40-50mn was dang pretty low for a Nolan flick even tho it's R rated. Especially with the fact that peeps still came out for Tenet in the hottest pandemic period.

MK direct to streaming movies always have a weird way of having better animation than DC projects by a mile.

Quit playing... This has a high chance of getting devoured by Barbenheimer than actually beating them. The records BARBIE is setting alone makes it on set for a billion dollars. All this with no IMAX or 3D screens.

MI7 and Tom Cruise is already suffering the effects of these two films and would lose serious money. Paramount would be thanking it stars for Barbie not fighting for the premium screens it is relying on just like Nolan is doing.

Imagine Barbie tracking close to Endgame, you'd be fearful for any films releasing close to it presently.

It's only recently that I've begun to consider combining directors, actors, or writers in this way; I feel like it makes the movie marathon more engaging. Emerald Fennel has caught my attention as well, along with Tayarisha Poe and Rebecca Hall, but since they've only directed one movie, I'm still content to wait and watch them for the time being.

True that.... I also found it more satisfying this way when you've genuine interest for the director and actors....it's easier to watch this way than just straight up pick a movie based on genre or plot. Really enjoyed The Aviator_ and Gangs of New York pairing with _Martin Scorsese and _Leonardo DiCaprio.

Another one is Olivia Wilde. Tho she hit a brick with Don't Worry Darling.

Nah, just people that wanted to complain. I've read the book and it wasn't stated clearly Corlys Velaryon race. His skin colour was never mentioned. Also no one knew much of his mom, the Velaryons was a seafaring family and met various cultures and people so he must have mingled with Black people as there's talk that his mom was from one of the islands known for dark skin.
So that's the loophole HBO worked with.
Also people who actually read the source material are the ones most likely prone to shout race swapping or other differences of some sort.
