You seems not to understand Basic salary... The Basic salary of a Civil Servant who earns #130000 as Net pay shouldn't be more than #40000. It's the summation of Transportation allowance, Housing allowance, Utility allowance, Feeding allowance, Harzard allowance etc. that boosts their earnings to Gross pay before necessary deductions such as Tax, NHF, 7.5% of (Basic Salary + Transport allowance + Housing allowance) to be remitted to Pension Fund Administrator i.e. Pension account etc.

I learnt all those calculations in school when we were offering taxation as a course. May we move out of the labour market and land our dream job soonest. I'm just tired of sitting down at home especially when I know that my impact ought to be felt in a reputable organisation. It pains me that competencies isn't a prerequisite for securing job again. Whoever has a link in Lagos where I can manage/work, I'll really appreciate. Also, if you feel like helping me secure a sustainable job... I don't mind sacrificing my earnings for a short period of time as I'm totally depressed right now. Don't take this the wrong way, reputable organizations that pay very well don't joke with the quality of people they recruit. Even those politicians who send their kids abroad, I have been opportuned to meet quite a number, those kids are smart.

Go through the link that was posted there, familiarise yourself with the questions. You can only experience dragnet by experiencing it. You won't understand how it is through another person's eyes

Y = average weight of 60 students

Therefore (X/60) =Y ………….equ 1

(X-45)/59 = Y+ 0.2 ……………. Equ 2 (average weight of the remaining 59 students increased by 200g = 0.2kg)

From equ 1
X = 60Y ………….. equ 3

From equ 2
X – 45 = 59Y + 11.8
X = 59Y + 56.8 ……….Equ 4

Input the value of X in equ 3 into equ 4
60Y = 59Y + 56.8
Y = 56.8

From equ 2 average weight of 59 students = Y + 0.2
= 56.8 + 0.2
= 57
