you,re the most stup*d fan I've ever encountered in my life, this is my first time of entering this section but I'm sure I'll come around often because of s/cumbags like you. How dare you compare the baba with modenine. I remember their first tracks(rugged and modenine), try listening to eh-en and "about to get ugly" then compare the two artist base on their intro to the music world.

I'll tell you a fact that can't be disputed, Rugged started with all what modenine is trying to do today, when you talk about punchlines, tight lyrics, metaphor and all the lyrical content you might want to hear when you listen to rap music, when you listen to rugged's Peace or War or Big bros you'll hear what a proper dissing sounds like. when it comes to dissing straight at someone, mode really needs to learn from rugged cos rugged ain't afraid of anyone, not even the self acclaimed BIG Bros of Nigerian Entertainment.

If you say rugged didn't mention mode's name means is a coward then you must be s*lly, Rugged is simply showing maturity because you know he's good at naming names (If he can diss the pioneers of nigerian entertainment then, so who the F**k is modenine ). Also from the modenine lyrics you supplied, he too never mentioned rugged's name cos their are many baba's in the Industry. If you are close to Modenine(I know you are cos I'm sure he paid you for this) advise him to hit the nail on the head by going further in his lyrics to mention Ruggedman or Ruggedy Baba which happen to be rugged stage name and see if the likes of you will ever be able to sign in to this site not to talk of contributing or posting in this forum.

NB: I'm not a Modenine hater, just trying to be realistic and give honour to who honour is due. RUGGED man is Nigeria's Hip -hop saviour cos i remember the sigidi gbon, hankahone, inkophne days we spent before he opened our eyes and hear to enjoy the sound of a perfectly African blend hiphop genre which he(rugged) always supply, Listen to OPomulero and you'll understand not the foreign rap . rugged "cleared the whole area, now real rappers have a say too. Mode nine fo postrate to rugged and say you are sorry cos I know you can never diss Hip VT not to talk of the whole Kennis/primet VT.

Lastly, if you want to compare Rugged and Mode on the same platform go listen to TWO's since you be gone track(tribute to Jaiye) then come back to comment further.

Try to be realistic, with the rate at which mobile phones are sold now that phone is not worth more than #5,000 if you want me to but it, I sold my N70 with 1Gig mem card for #10,000 and it was in good condition when I sold it, honsule also sold his for the same prize so you should consider your asking price if you're truly interested in selling it.

Firstly, you have to state the type of phone that you're using and the model, you also need the cable to connect the phone to PC and the PC suite from the phone manufacturer,

Secondly, you sim card must be activated for wap and MMS which I can help you with or you can request using text the required service to 232 in this format "mms Nokia N70" to 232 and then you will be sent a config message which u have to save using 0 or 0000 as the pword.

I think I'll go for the 1.8m motorized dish which bigjoe said cost 10,000 but I still hope I'll be able to watch the nilesat channels on it somedaay as I know it's not going to be available on it.

what's the price of a starsat decorder and a satong reciever which I don't really understand what it does yet

Thanks for the reply, about your lastest discovery about the JSC sport channels and the starsat decoder, Pls give me detail prices for the best dish with the best coverage cos I don't understand why you have to combine 2 dishes like you said "i have a 1.8m motorized  with KU and C band lnb, plus 2.4m for nilesat." I like to watch nilesat channels which I believe are the Jsc's, al-jazeera and most asian channels. give  me the price for the dish needed for the nilesat, the best decoder that can decode most scrambled channels at the moment.  

If you intend to compare the two dishes (1.8m and 2.4m) or your two decoders (strong and starsat), what advantage will you say one have over another?

can the dish be installed on an accessible rooftop?

I appreciate all the informations that you've giving me about the FTA, I'm just sought of confuse because it's something I haven't seen, I just imagine what it really is and I wish to view it one day soon, you talk about viewing aljazeera and I envy you because I know they are one of the best sport channel around these days with the likes of showtime,

Pls I wouldn't mind if you can tell me details of your setup for your personal FTA and the cost for me to be able to enjoy all these channels like you do. also, what it's going to take me to get your assistance  or any of the FTA gurus (Baderu, Enigma, Baba, etc) purchasing and Installation because i have no experience in this field and I'm not yet confident enough to take the risk.

I really appreciate all the information and assistance I've gotten from here, I want you to know that I'm not a pest it's just that the whole FTA thing is new to me and right now, I have stated to imagine the amount of channel I will be watching and How happy I'll be when I'm able to get all this stations you mention,



Lastly,  I read about viewing different channels on different disk inclinaton or angles, does that mean that each time you want a diffenrent channel you need to go outside and rotate or adjust the dish?

Thanks for the advise, I don't really know much about the two(pay TV and FTA) but with you explaination and from what I have read in this thread I think is  good to have the best you can get and afford. does combining the two services as any effect on each others service or reception? I don't know  if there will be enough money to acquire the two networks cos I think it's really going to be expensive.

I know you are an expect in this field and you can help me with all i need to know and how much it will cost me to see any channel(FTA or PAY) on my tv that is different from the local channels my TV is known for. Pls help me with the breakdown of everything, I know you definetely have one in your house and it's going to be the best of the best reception that you will be getting, including that channel that shows 3 live EPL games, aljazeera, MBC, BBC, Eurosport, and the rest. I'll be very grateful

Breakdown list should include cost for the followings:;

1.8 or 2.5m Dish (depending on the one with more channels and good reception or the own you're using, lol)
Decoder (also the best one which is what you're using)
Hitv Card
LNB and the othe required connectors
cables
Installation.


NB: I read a manual showing different angles for different stations using the FTA, does that mean that each time you want to watch a channel that is off the current angle you'll have to go outside and rotate or incline your dish?

Thanks for the swift response and also your advise on making my choice, I wouldn't want to be selfish and consider myself alone, I'm the only boy in the midst of 5 ladies and I think I wouldn't justify my concience if I see this better offer of FTA and go ahead to satisfy myself alone, my family have waatched cable TV before with the help of california and they really enjoyed MBC 2 and 4 programs(Dr. Phil, Opera, and the movies), I think it will be a good option to have this programs back and also I don't get to pay any money monthly as stated from what I read.  I would prefer this FTA if it's really something you can help me get the best out of. From what I read, it's not that I don't get to watch football at all cos I saw you mention a channel that shows 3 live EPL matches and if I'm not watching football other sports like, MotoGP, Lawn tennis will be better alternatives.

If the full cost for the best FTA services and Installations is about 25,000. I guess it's really a benefit cos when you get you hiTV and you subscribe for about 3-6months the total cost will be above the FTA cost, it's not also guaranteed that their will be light anytime matches are played therefore, I'll choose the option which I think is right for me and I really need your assistance with this option which is the FTA option,

I've been a member of #land for quite some time but I'm most active in the phone section, today my elder sister called me and she said to me that she doesn't like the way I leave my house at akk time just to watch football matches played live on pay TV's and she would love to buy us a HITV, she said I should go and get the cost of the package, then I should call her after I've made the research, I came on to nairaland and read the HITV thread but to my surprise I saaw the comments of their subscribers lamenting about the poor service rendered to them which I was never aware of till the moment I finished reading the review/ thread, I thought of finding another alternative an I read this thread and I couldn't believe that it's possible to still watch cable TV without subscription after the demise of California cable,

Reading this thread, I thought that I could convince her that this is what I need but I don't know the estimated cost for the full equipments and services required, Pls I need you kind assistance, most especially the gurus in the house that knows everything about setting up this FTA from the beginning to the end,

I used the code for my 1110 and the response was "stopping sim clock allowed" but when I tried to call with no credit using my zain line the call didn't go through. Can you please explain or tell me what to do?

Who told you that 3G is only limited to MTN and GLO subscribers, don't dare some of us that are Zain with pride, and our sim shows 3G, EDGE and whatever network service rendered,




***I have 4 Celtel/Zain Sim cards and 2 out of the 4 sims shows 3G with full bar***
