I registered for the just concluded JAMB exam At Zerolimit Resources Calabar, during the registration we were told by the accredited center to make a federal University The first choice of institution followed by a State University before others.

I was made to believe that first and second choice was no longer a criteria but when my university of interest which is a state owned University released its Post UTME screening statement and procedure for registration it stated that only students who made the school their first choice of University should apply. That was when it downed on me I was in a deep problem, to cut the long story short I paid 2,500 to JAMB for a change of Institution correction which they did but the changes is only valid on their website, the school I made my first choice is yet to receive the update. Time is running out and the deadline for registration is near.

There are so many frustrated Candidates out there with the same issue.
Please I'm appealing to JAMB to send the updated list to their respective schools.

Greetings dear nairalanders.
I did jamb change of institution to University of Calabar and it was successful.
I also successfully purchased the e-transact pin for their (Unical) post utme online registration.
When I went to the cyber cafe to complete the registration, I got the reply that my jamb registration number is not in their portal.

Distressed, I wrote to support@myunical.edu.ng which is an email address provided for complaint purpose for prospective students who may encounter difficulties in the registration.

Yesterday they gave me the reply below that is in quote


"Dear, ************ ****** *******,
those who have the opportunity to register now, are those who chose unical without applying for change of institution/course,
kindly visit the nearest jamb center for your complaint and clarification.
thank you for using support@myunical.edu.ng"

I complained to some of the staff at the JAMB office in my state, but they can not categorically assure me of anything.
I went further and wrote to JAMB headquarter through their twitter handle, but they are yet to reply (It has been two days now)

The bigger problem is that University of Calabar post utme application will end in eight days time (22nd of September)

I have done what is within my powers which changed nothing.
I will appreciate it, if the moderators of this forum will help me and bring this problem to the knowledge of the Jamb, Unical Admission Authorities and the general public.

The reason I am writing these is to asked for your help Guys. I was jobless for months and got this job late last month and began this month and today my boss has told us not to come to work for at least 21 days and I have used virtually all my savings for transport and we weren't paid today till we get back in 3 weeks time. I stay at suleja and go to bannex each day and have done that for almost 3 weeks now at the rate of almost 900 per day and right now I am left with less than 3k. Now I need to stuck the house with food and while coming back from work I branch the market and guy's my 3000 couldn't get me anything. It couldn't even get anything that would last a week and I don't have anyone to call to asked for help than strangers that don't know me. Now I'm not gonna come here and lie and say lies for help but plead with you all as friends to please assist me and not just me but other's around you as well. My boss told us that before Sunday there would be a nation wide lockdown so therefore please there are people around you that might not have enough please if God put it in your heart's please help them no matter how small. Buy them rice and beans and garri and if you are a boss here please especially in ABUJA let your workers go on a break and before you give a break please try and pay them because many of us don't have another source .
