pinkrex: @Inky. Always first n last on every thread, Lmaoinroflmao. You brewed for d fight whn you laughed without courtsy n caution. I didn't brew anything. This is a PUBLIC forum for goodness sakes!! If he/she is upset then oh well for them. When did it become a crime to laugh? Should I censor myself because I don't wanna hurt his/her feelings or because he's having a personal issue with another member? Smmfh, if he/she wants to explode over this whole thing then he/she can be my guest. I can only imagine what ragdollz will do outside of Nairaland if someone so much as rolls their eyes because they didn't like something he/she said. I've volunteered at elementary schools and the children don't even act the way ragdollz is acting. |

ragdollz: ^^^^what-ever, inked nerd, save the drama 4 your bf's babymama, n stop trying so hard to sound smart/intellectual. I hear u were once an NL wannabe-crusader/hell-raiser till u messed up and went ona self-imposed exile. Now u'v been skipping about trying to get noticed, well u finally have been . However u now spend time LMAOing every dry joke u come across which I find sooo lame of u, and soo disappointing to your ex-fans . Anyway, with d Jamo d-sh-it as your mentor, I expect no better. Birds of a feather, as they say. Speaking of such, will that dirty pigeon salesgirl Jamo run to the shop and sweep up? The last customer has left and the dirty store aisles won't sweep themselves . There's a good girl . Heehee. Wretched Jamo, on my next expense-paid hols I'll look u up in d shop and MAKE u attend to my needs . Hey, u gat those red Loubotins in a size 6? No? Then freaking go find a pair in d stockroom u lazy ugly Jamo salesgirl !! lol, I'm sure u hear dat all the time, heehee. Poor orphan salesgirl Lmao, baby mama drama?!?! Seems like you've been watching too much BET. Like I said before and I'll say it again--If I want to laugh, I will laugh. If you don't like it, then you can go kick rocks. What I may find funny may not be what you may find funny. Call it lame, dry, or use whatever noun you want to use to describe my perceived lack of humor. . . If that makes you happy then fine.
Awww, how cute. I see you like telling stories. Good for you . Keep it up sweetie. I'm sure it'll all pay off in the long run. I have no idea what you're talking about in terms of me being a "NL wannabe-crusader/hell-raiser". Seems like you seem to spend quite a bit of time talking about me. I haven't gone on a "self-imposed exile". I work and I go to school, so when I have time I come back to Nairaland. Obviously you have way too much time on your hands for you to be going around looking for childish ways to "break it down to me" like you stated earlier. What a shame that all of this started just because I laughed at you. I've seen kindergarten children that don't even act the way you've acted. My dear, do me a favor--go find a job, go to school, find a hobby, just as long as it will keep your childish behavior at bay. You know what. . . Fine, since you have nothing else to do, continue with your attempts to insult me. You obviously seem to be deriving some sort of sadistic pleasure from your incessant ranting. Keep 'em comin' sweetie. Feels good huh? Makes ya like a big boy/girl? Rant all you want. Insult me all you want. If that's how you get your kicks, then more power to ya . |

Adrenaline: That's your business, you can shake your way into hades for all I care Well obviously you do care--a person who doesn't care wouldn't have bothered to answer to what I said. I find it funny that people say "I don't care" when they're in certain situations. If you didn't care then you would disregard the situations as a whole. For person who supposedly doesn't care, you seem to be going out of your way to respond. |

ragdollz: On Nairaland, Inked Nerd, you should mind how u "laugh". An "lmao" at the wrong place or time can mean any of the following:
1. You're trying to ferment trouble
2. You're taking sides
3. The "joke" was really just too funny.
You seem to lay claim to no. 3, which is the worst bc it wasn't even that funny. And even if it was, it's total bad form and pure lack of foresight to be "lmao"ing. Wiser folks would just laugh without dropping a comment just to stay out of it. I guess u seem to want in on this. Be my guest. However being on NL longer than I u don't need me to break it down to u. Sweetie, grow up. Who are you to tell me how I should or shouldn't laugh or what I should or shouldn't laugh at? If I want to laugh, I will laugh. If you don't like it, then you can go kick rocks. What I may find funny may not be what you may find funny. Because I laughed at a comment that was directed at you by MzD@rksin doesn't mean I'm taking sides. Go and reread this thread and get your head right and stop acting like I've got some sort of issue with you. Whatever personal issue or squabble you and MzD@rkSkin are having is between the two of you. This is a PUBLIC forum so if you honestly expected someone not to respond to something they considered funny, then you are sorely mistaken. I'm sure the three reasons you've presented are good and dandy in that mind of yours but none of those apply to me. If you wanna be a cyber bully be my guest, but don't do it with me. Me being on Nairlanad longer than you has nothing to do with anything you've said. Your empty threats are exactly what they are--EMPTY threats. So if you wanna "break it down to me", then go right ahead. I'm all ears [or in this case eyes].

AjanleKoko: Hmm, I feel you. Last year I experienced a tea ceremony in Shanghai, in the old city. Very enlightening. Also sampled traditional tea in Marrakesh, Cairo, Dubai, and Hyderabad. My fav tea company is Twinings, they have a very rich portfolio, and are very affordable. They also have a wide distribution. My favourite tea is oolong, but I tend to take more of green tea, with lemon and ginger. Oh my, I'm impressed. If you're ever in New York, you should check out Urasenke Chanoyu Center of New York. They have such a beautiful tea ceremony when you go there. Its absolutely lovely there. You can really feel their love and passion for tea. The place has such a calming atmosphere when you walk in. Some people in New York don't even realize that such a place exists. |

Food › Re: The Tea Thread by InkedNerd(f): 10:25am On Mar 07, 2011 |
AjanleKoko: Republic of Tea, yes. They're like the American Twinings, but I think they're more recent, maybe even in the last 20 years or so. They sell premium tea, herbal teas, and some of the popular Asian flavours. I have never bought tea from them unfortunately, cos I don't live in the US.
And yes, I have tried hibiscus, the Twinings Rosehip and Hibiscus. Very good if you're combating cholesterol and HBP. My mom always takes that, and green tea as well. For tea lovers in Nigeria, there is a great selection of teas right now, if you go to any supermarket. Lots of natural caffeine-free flavours, and even Lipton has started to market their own infusions in Nigeria. Their teas are lovely. You can check out the website and see if they ship to Nigeria. Every time I travel outside of the US, one of the things I like to do is drink/taste tea from the country I'm visiting. Another nice tea company is Art of Tea. What's your favorite tea or tea company [if you have one]? |

spikedcylinder: Lmao! This is so funny!
@ topic,
I'm sure there are many people here that have one grudge or the other against one family member or the other. Oprah (according to her) was treated very poorly by members of her family, if she has refused to acknowledge them now, it is entirely her business. You people cannot come and be sitting on your darn high horses and be dictating to others how to live their lives. I wonder how many people pass beggars on the streets and look the other way yet they come here to tell Oprah how to spend her own money. SMH! Uh huh, co-sign on that one. |

dowjones: @ inked nerd YOU obviously dont know what a fanatic is (i wonder what type of nerd you are). i am not a fanatic and didnt sound like one in my post. i did not suggest a religion or cajole anyone to worship my prefered diety or even ME ! i find the fact that she has the nerve to start her own religion appalling. There are million ways to propagate a religion without being "fanatic" about it & oprah obviously knows these ways by heart. oprah has openly condemed bible quotes and christainity and went a step further to create her religion (taking advantage of the agnostic/non religious void in the lives of her followers) so her followers who have been weakened in thier faiths (by her religious badgering) have little objections to converting to her religion.
do you know how hard it is to CONVERT a muslim, christian, hindu, whatever? do you actually think her religion is a fluke or just a spontaneous idea ? cant you open your BLIND EYES to see this was mapped out ? why didnt she start a religion 5 years ago , why now? why start a religion when quitting the oprah show ? she is at the peak of her career if you dont know and she has millions of followers.these millions will multiply by birth, marriage and the followership will increase (just like other new age religions)!! A SEMI NEW WORLD ORDER. please tell me WHO IS THE FANATIC HERE ?, WHO IS CONVERTING MILLIONS IN SUBTLE WAYS ?.
Fanaticism doesnt involve stone headed loyalty, its a strategy !! a mission ! you are just another celebrity kiss a$$.i am pissed with oprah because SHE IS THE FANATIC ! a subtle one !! she is actually doing what hitler and many others failed to do with force!
i never said i was christian neither did i shove a superior religion down anyone's throat (as you ignorantly pointed out in your not-so-smart post). you better read well! Lmao, good for you. Are you happy that you've gotten that out of your system? Although I may have quoted you, I never specifically said that I thought that you were a religious fanatic so get over yourself. When I said "I swear, some of you religious fanatics are by far the biggest hypocrites in the world.", it was a generalized statement for those who have an incessant need to shove their views onto others. So what if she supposedly started her own religion? Is anyone asking you to practice it? You sound like some paranoid schizo sitting around saying she is strategically creating some sort of new world order. As for me being a celebrity kiss ȧss, sorry sweetie but you've got the wrong girl--I'm not an Oprah fan nor have I ever been. And who told you that fanaticism doesn't involve stone headed loyalty? Loyalty within fanaticism is one of the driving forces in the success of fanaticism. I will admit, the one thing you are right about is me assuming you were Christian. Other than that, you've made no actual points in your response. |
