My mistake I did upfront medicals on 26th of May. I did not upload or send my medical information sheet until I got the request. I just felt it will be updated. Unfortunately, IOM didn't send my medicals till 6th of June.

Hi, Sorry about your experience, I think them requesting for a new passport is a positive sign. Maybe you should consider sending a mail to one of the MPs in your province. You can search this forum to see if you can find a mail address or check IRCC's website I truly believe you will be given the Visa. Take care Kidsister13: Good morning all.
Please seniors and elders on this group, I need your honest opinion on what to do.
I applied on the 30th of Oct. Did upfront medical on the 2nd of nov. 2021 and it was updated as pass on the 29th of December.
Since I didn't get PPR, I deferred from Jan to September 2022.
30th March 2022, they requested I send my new passport bio-data as the one i used in applying will expire in August this year.
I couldn't meet the deadline they kept for me so I sent a letter explaining why and even showed prove that I had started the process of getting a new passport.
In May 4th, I got the passport and I send the data page via Webform for them.
Since then till now i have been sending mails and Webforms but no response.
So i asked, is there anyone here that has send repeated mails and Webform and eventually got a positive feedback because I have Been sending daily since first week of May. |

Hi, just because you hate something or you were proactive does not mean you should spread negative vibes. Applying with a one year passport to expiration is not a crime. The visa process is expected to take 3 months, leaving 9 months to expiry and any visa office will still give you a visa on a 9 months to expiry passport. Its just unfortunate his application has taken that long. Encourage rather than castigate. flower1019078: '' I HATE IT WHEN I SEE THIS KIND OF REPORTS BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE APPLICANT CAUSES IT. WHY WOULD YOU USE A PASSPORT THAT IS GOING TO EXPIRE IN ONE YEAR TO SUBMIT AND APPLICATION FOR A STUDY PERMIT THAT CAN TAKE UP TO 4 YEARS OF STUDY. DO YOU WANT TO APPLY AGAIN OR GO THROUGH STRESS WHEN YOU RENEW IT EVENTUALLY. I SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION MAY 9TH BUT ON FEB I NOTICED IT WILL EXPIRE NEXT YEAR FEB SO I WENT TO RENEW IT AND NOW IT IS EXPIRING 2027. I THINK THEY HAVE MOVED ON FROM YOUR APPLICATION. '' |

God Bless you for your wisdom and apt explanation (which I doubt they will understand still). In any case, I have moved on and continued my journey on this platform. I actually come here to receive the good news of PPR that people receive every day and that calms me as I pray for mine. Meanwhile, I worked with an immigration consultant and gathered my documents with them and a review of my LOE, documents were gathered also from indian forums and canadavisa and not from here. After that I came here to request a second review from the house (Guess what, No one responded and I did not take it personally). After which I even contacted one of the gurus here, Guess what we eventually did not work together (because all i needed was a second eye review of my LOE but It didnt seem sensible for me to pay the quoted price just for a second review of LOE) and it was a totally respectful and encouraging conversation. Quite frankly, I term the guru here as selfless, helpful and not money-oriented. I really do think you should leave the Nairaland Police and their continuous thirst to vilify anyone that does not drop their profile immediately. I guess at some point they will have to infiltrate people's internet service and force them to provide what they can just courteously ask for even though they might feel upset about it. Buks03: @Toceen2022 I agree with you honestly. Life is about give and take. Not everyone follows the rule. You might give this person today and take from another person tomorrow, life is not that hard. I have seen cases on this platform where by people drop their timeline and they never asked question on the platform, but they feel the need to share coz it can help few people and they might have learnt one or two things from peoples questions. They are ghost viewers just like me. And on the other hand some people here have asked questions and didn’t get back to the group when they got their PPR. I’m still asking the same question? Would you have known if he didn’t announce his PPR? Calling him out after three days doesn’t make sense to me. It can be over looked till he comes back for another question. Or better still remind him in a polite way. It not like if he doesn’t drop another person wouldn’t.
This is not me encouraging anyone no to drop, you can’t tell what anyone is going through aside this platform, what if he was going through something with the intention of dropping his time line afterwards. It’s a different case if our study permit depends on his. Then I can understand the desperation. But it doesn’t, it can only help by dropping it.
Let’s just take things easy. |

Hahahahaha. No vex Old G Nairalander. I really didn't know nairaland existed before now ooo or it is based on when you register a profile that makes you a newbie. I am sorry Sir/Madam. You really need to widen your thought process about resources tho. If the whole of Nigeria comes here, I still retain my point which is 'There are positive ways to address a concern rather than your approach' 'Hey @xxxxx, please could you share your timeline, it will really go a long way in helping others here' or 'Hey @xxxxx, please could you share your timeline, it will really go a long way in helping others here, here is the information you need. hoping to receive your timeline'. Which one is it is disheartening and you are expecting help from other people and you want them to help you and all the negativity you brought to the guy because he announced he had received his PPR. What if he didn't announce. take a second and think! If you would ask me, perhaps your personality is the one that needs a reform. You will get much more from people from being positive no matter how frustrated you maybe! amila20042001: My dear you are about the 4th person telling him that his view is not valid and that nobody is attacking nobody. He has shown his type of personality and how he reacts to external stimuli. The moniker is relatively new on nairaland, and maybe someone told him to come here and get all the answers to his numerous questions regarding Canada Japa. Them tell am say the salary big but them no tell am say em go work |

Your Perception, your opinion! Not sure what you are approbating and reprobating. If you read my comments to the end, you will see that it is not the deception you are trying to misconstrue it as. Get what you need from those who submit and move on. I still stand on this point and it remains valid. Stop attacking people because they have not submitted their timeline in just 3 days fa!!!!. Even if they do not submit, there are better and more respectful ways to pass the message across rather than running them down and making it seem as though without them you won't learn a thing or two from someone else. I commented on this because of the way some of you go about in your passing the message. Period!!! Bobomaigida: Please Innit2022, stop approbating and reprobating, no one is forcing anyone to drop their timelines, but you see people get PPR, drop the news, claim they will drop timeline later and come to ask other questions without dropping their timelines. If every one does the bolded like you have advised, the thread will be a dead thread, cos all of us will come take and not give and when we are taking and taking then there will be nothing left. In fact, what does it take to drop a timeline, even if it is the basic details just drop drop drop. |

Oh someone did and it had a negative connotation to it, saying people won't help him (is this a cult?)! If you read my comments well, I have not said he should not help people by dropping his documents or profile! My point is that he will do it when he is ready! 3 days for God's sake and you are crucifying the dude/babe! A little patience and empathy will go a long way! Simple!!! What is that assurance going to do for you? What if he assures and does not do it? Will you find him on the web and chase him down! Focus on your focus here, get what you need and move on! No one person's application is dependent on another here. If he does not drop his own, someone else will! All the others that have been dropping, no one told them to and we bless them for it but there are some people who get and never announce. If you guys are so sanctimonious, then perhaps you should start chasing all those who have told you at one point in time that they started their application but you never heard the last of it or what their result is. This platform is amazing and is helping people. No need to turn a public forum to 'if you don't give me, I won't give you'. Help if you will and move on! Papapa1234: Nobody is attacking anyone..just drop your transcript..Simple!!..Even if not immediately but just assure the house you will eventually drop it.. Whether it influences anyones decison or not! Just drop it! |

This attack is totally unnecessary and uncalled for. Yes, it would be nice if he posts his timeline to satisfy your curiosity and others given the fact that this platform helps everyone. But if he does not you need to accept that and deal with it, rather than sounding the way you do. Madam/Sir, 3 days is not a long time not to post. People deal with excitement differently and no one knows any1s story here. Worse off is your entitlement that you think he owes a duty to post immediately and if not others will not respond to him. If everyone went attacking everyone like you have done too, I do not think anyone will comment here about PPR, so be patient! The truth is knowing his timeline will not influence your application, it's just a nice to know. So you do not have to be a pooper about it! amila20042001: It's so disheartening that 3 days after you got ppr you are yet to update the house with your timeline and documents you submitted. You claim you're taking your time to put it together, After 3 days of receiving ppr.
I wonder if every other person behave like this, will this thread remain relevant and/or informative. It's a simple act of kindness to give back a little to something that gave you a whole lot. You're still putting up question and expecting response. I greet you. |

I applied to Royal Roads university's Executive MBA program on January 3, 2022 and got a conditional admission on February 9, 2022. Generally, I found the school was very disorganised with their approach of requesting additional information and it is very difficult to reach them on the lines provided. It seemed the conditional offer was a way to get extra money from the international applicants as I was asked to take Academic writing course ($595) as a condition for acceptance. It took them another one month to send me my LOA. I paid the 5k deposit just in case but when I got my Uottawa admission in March. I withdrew my application and asked for a refund of deposit which they have returned (with a charge) I would say expect a response in 1 month to 6 weeks as this is a peak period for applications. NewMercy: Hello my people, Please I wish to know the experience of anyone that has applied to Royal Roads University graduate program. After supporting documents are submitted, how long does it take them to upload on the applicant's portal? I have applied now it's been 2weeks and I haven't heard anything. |
