Suspected assassins in Akwa-Ibom state Nigeria killed a young man by name Gabriel Edward and hid his body inside his room after covering his body with a mat. He was declared missing by his family members but was later found decomposing already inside his own bedroom at home.

A cousin by name Uduakabasi Effiong to the deceased had this to say on Facebook:

“How wicked can people be?
My cousin was killed right inside his room by someone unknown.

He was killed and pushed to one corner of the bed covered with bed sheet and mat.
We realized his decomposed body today.
Gabriel Edward rest in peace.“

While National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, (NDLEA) is being commended nationwide in different states of Nigeria for their 0% tolerance for drug trafficking of all forms, some bad elements within the system have brought shame to the entire NDLEA agency in Lagos.

It is being alleged by a human right activist on twitter by name SEGA L’eveilleur@segalink that an NDLEA branch at opposite Murtala international airport Lagos are into the habit of abducting young people unlawfully and demanding ransoms to the tune of N2 Million per head.

His tweet reads;

“The attention of the authorities is hereby called again to the brigandage & organized crime syndicate at the@ndlea_nigeriaopposite Murtala international airport Lagos. They raid hotels, abducting young people for ransom. As we speak they’re demanding N2M per head from captives.”
