The proposal empowers governors to issue lawful directives to State Commissioners of Police on matters relating to public safety and order.

However, where a commissioner believes such directives are unlawful or inconsistent with accepted policing standards, the matter may be referred to the National Police Council, whose decision would be final.

The above quoted portion is to checkmate the State Governors and to reduce their power.

All things being equal, the bill should be helpful in combacting criminalities and insecurity issues.

If you get account with Access, go and request for your Statement of account for let say from 4 years ago till date, for you to know the real status of your account.

I had similar experience with my wife account.

She let her account with Access more than 4 years ago to another bank.

Then it happen that she need to update her name on Bvn because of change of name on National ID Car, we submitted or the requirements along with Affidavit to her current bank but we were directed to bank where she did her BVN which happen to be Access bank.

On getting to Access, all requirements were submitted as well, and when the front desk staff were working on the account, the staff said she was still owing loan on her account and she have to paid up because the loan is overdue already, i was so surprised and we insisted we never took loan on the account.

Then i requested for the account statement, at that point the staff asked us to wait and went inside, i guessed to relate the issue with the superior staff.

Later on the staff said, she will go ahead with the account updates we came for and that we should not bother again on the loan she mentioned that, it was like a mix up.

I allow her to finish with the account reactivation first so we can proceed with account update issue with other bank. Thereafter i requested for the account statement with Access bank, they insisted i should not worry since they arealdy attended to my previos request and i told them, i will come back.

Lot are going on in that bank

The Orange Tree Lesson: Why Long-Term Investments Matter.

My true life story; Ayoola Akinwunmi with my biological father in our farm at Imasayi, Yewa North area of Ogun State.

When I was in Junior Secondary School, my father decided to plant orange trees on our farm. As a young boy, I looked at the orange seeds and told him not to plant them.

Curious, my father asked, "Why do you say so?"

I replied confidently, "Because it will take many years before the orange trees start bearing fruits."

My father smiled and asked another question: "Will you be the one feeding the orange trees until they mature?"

I didn't have an answer.

He then explained a life lesson that has remained with me ever since. He said many people fail to achieve financial success because they think exactly the way I did back then. They focus only on the waiting period and ignore the rewards that come after patience and consistency. Despite my advice, he went ahead and planted the orange seeds.

Years later, the trees matured and started producing plenty of fruits. One day, while visiting the farm, I attempted to pluck some oranges. My father was nearby and asked what I wanted to do.

"I want to get some oranges," I replied.

He then smiled and asked, "Would you be harvesting these oranges today if I had listened to your advice years ago and refused to plant the trees?"

I burst into laughter and said, "So, you still remember!"

That simple question reminded me of the powerful lesson he taught me years earlier: the best time to invest is before the harvest season arrives.

This same principle applies to oil palm farming today. Oil palm is not a get-rich-quick venture, but it is one of the most rewarding agricultural investments for those who understand the value of patience and long-term wealth creation. Every mature palm tree becomes a productive asset capable of generating income for decades.

That is why investors should consider opportunities such as Nova Palm by AssetRise Homes, a company with professional expertise in oil palm farming. Rather than focusing on how long it takes for the palms to mature, wise investors focus on the long-term returns, sustainability, and wealth-building potential that come with owning productive oil palm assets.

Just like the orange trees my father planted years ago, the best harvests tomorrow often come from the seeds we plant today.

Properties › Using Reliable Realtor When You Are Buying Properties In Nigeria, Most Expeciall by INTEGRITYA1(op): 5:45pm On Jun 06
Advantage of using reliable realtor when you are buying properties in Nigeria, most expecially if you are abroad

Using a reliable realtor when buying property in Nigeria—especially from abroad—is not just helpful, it can save you from costly mistakes. Here are some solid advantages:

PROTECTION FROM FRAUD
Nigeria’s real estate market has its risks. A trusted realtor helps verify property authenticity, ensuring you don’t fall victim to scams or “omo onile” issues.

PROPER DOCUMENTATION GUIDANCE
From Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) to Deed of Assignment, a reliable realtor ensures all documents are genuine and properly processed.

LOCAL MARKET KNOWLEDGE
They understand property values, emerging areas, and investment trends, helping you make informed decisions instead of overpaying.

ACCESS TO VERIFIED PROPERTIES
Realtors often have access to listings that are already screened, saving you time and reducing risk.

NEGOTIATION ADVANTAGE
An experienced realtor can negotiate better deals on your behalf, ensuring you get value for your money.

CONVENIENCE FOR DIASPORA BUYERS
If you’re abroad, a realtor acts as your trusted representative—handling inspections, updates, and transactions without you being physically present.

TIME-SAVING
Instead of going through countless options, a realtor filters properties based on your budget and preferences.

PEACE OF MIND
Perhaps the most important—knowing a professional is handling your investment gives you confidence, especially when investing from thousands of miles away.

Investment › Re: Buying Land Or Keeping The Money In Bank by INTEGRITYA1(m): 10:55am On Jun 03
I have 545k that I saved in a bank giving me return of 7k per month, 2 months ago i saw a land available at place in ogun state after mowe ofada area.

Buying land is okay
Saying money to be earning 7k monthly is still something as well.

Risk in buying the land.
If you buy the land now with that money, there is tendency you will loose the land to Omonile, because with that 500k you talked about, it obvious its low budget land in a very remote area.

Precaution:
You have to be very sure you are buying from right source.
Also, if you buy it, don't leave it for too long before you start working on it. In fact you can start with 100 blocks upward. With that, the land will be relatively safe and it will become a great opportunity in years to come.

Now, saving moning
Though you are earning small small on it monthly

But if you want to waith till that money accumulated, there is tendency that the price of land will go up and both this saving and accrued interest wont be able to buy that land again.

My suggestion
Buy the land if it's genuine and dont leave it unattended to for too long.

In all, the choice is yours.

Properties › Government Allocation Land Tittle. by INTEGRITYA1(op): 7:20am On Jun 03
Government Allocation Document

A Government Allocation is one of the most secure and reliable land titles in Nigeria. It refers to land that has been officially allocated by the government to an individual, company, or organization through a formal allocation process.

Properties with Government Allocation documents have undergone the necessary government procedures and are recognized by the relevant authorities. This significantly reduces the risk associated with land ownership and provides buyers with greater confidence in the authenticity and legitimacy of the property.

Advantages of Government Allocation
- Strong evidence of ownership recognized by the government.
- Reduced risk of land disputes and encumbrances.
- Suitable for residential, commercial, industrial, and investment purposes.
- Easier processing of further title perfection where applicable.
- Enhances the market value and credibility of the property.
- Preferred by corporate organizations, developers, and institutional investors.

When purchasing land with a Government Allocation document, investors can have greater assurance that the property has a clear ownership history and is backed by official government records, making it a secure and valuable real estate investment.

Business › Re: What's The Biggest Challenge You Have Faced In Making Money On Social Media ? by INTEGRITYA1(m): 12:13pm On Jun 02
In my own personal experiences as real estate consultant.

There are lot of bad guys online, they are scamming people in so many ways by playing fast one and relying on loopholes to perpetuate their scam.

The challenge now is, as someone who have good intentions and trying to help people genuinely in achieving their goals of buying land, house or to key into other real estate investments that will sure be of benefit.

People first see you as scammer and hardly believe you, I don’t blame anyone for this act is due to bad experiences.

Notwithstanding, after so much efforts and consistent, people tend to give you some trial after they try to do background check on you and they are convince enough that; you are different.

So, it now takes serious energy and effort to let people give you chance.

People are still buying with lot of scrutiny.

Even on this Nairaland, there are lot of good buyers, in fact Nairaland is my breakthrough sales channel even I also sell from other social networks.
Properties › Reasons Why Some People Are Holding Back From Investing In Real Estate by INTEGRITYA1(op): 11:20am On Jun 02
Reasons Investors Hold Back From Real Estate Investment

1. Fear of Losing Money

Why they hold back:
Many investors are afraid the project may fail, land may have issues, or returns may not come as promised.

2. Lack of Trust in Developers or Consultants

Why they hold back:
Too many stories of scams and failed developments have made people cautious.

3. Insufficient Knowledge About Real Estate

Why they hold back:
Some prospects simply do not understand how real estate works or how wealth is built through it.

4. Waiting for “The Perfect Time”

Why they hold back:
They believe prices may reduce or they are waiting until they “have more money.”

5. Fear of Hidden Charges

Why they hold back:
Unexpected fees discourage many buyers.

6. Economic Uncertainty

Why they hold back:
Inflation, unstable income, and economic conditions make people cautious.

7. Bad Past Experiences

Why they hold back:
Some investors have previously lost money or been disappointed.

8. Lack of Immediate Returns

Why they hold back:
Some investors want quick profits and become impatient with long-term investments.

9. Family or Partner Influence

Why they hold back:
Sometimes spouses, friends, or relatives discourage them from investing.

10. They Don’t Feel Urgency

Why they hold back:
If prospects feel the opportunity will always be available, they delay action.

Most investors are not saying “no” to real estate — they are saying:
“I need more clarity, confidence, trust, or urgency.”
