Here are 3 good reasons you, too, should always be a blessing to orphans.

1. GOD PERSONALLY STANDS AS THEIR FATHER

"A father to the fatherless... is God in His holy dwelling." - Psalm 68:5

When you bless an orphan, you are not just doing charity — you are partnering with God in His personal job description. You become God's hands extended to His own children. And God never forgets those who help Him raise His kids.

2. IT IS PURE RELIGION BEFORE GOD

"Pure and undefiled religion before God... is this: to visit orphans..." - James 1:27

You can pray, fast, and attend every service, but heaven measures your religion by how you treat the forgotten. Orphans may not be able to pay you back, post you, or hype you — but God records it as true worship.

3. YOUR SEED SECURES YOUR OWN FUTURE

"Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will reward them for what they have done." - Proverbs 19:17

Every gift to an orphan is a loan to God — and God never owes a man. He repays with peace in your home, favour on your children, open doors, and eternal rewards. What you make happen for an orphan, God will make happen for your own lineage.

TOPIC: Making Progress Through Counsel

Scripture:

*Message*

Look around you today, you discover that so many promising business ideas die not from lack of vision but from lack of counsel. The Bible states it plainly: plans fail without counsel, and succeed with many advisers.

We should emphasize that the above is not a suggestion but a pattern built into how wisdom operates.

There is a temptation, especially for driven entrepreneurs, to treat isolation as a badge of independence. But biblical wisdom treats isolation as a risk factor. No single person sees every blind spot in their own plan.

The mentor who has walked the path before you, the accountant who understands the numbers, the friend who asks the uncomfortable question, these voices are not obstacles to your vision but are safeguards for it.

If there is a venture or decision currently in motion in your life, this is an invitation to widen the circle of counsel around it before you widen the circle of investment.

TOPIC: Favour That Opens Rooms

Scripture:
"A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before the great." Proverbs 18:16

*Message*

Dear reader, you should agree with me that Joseph's story is the living commentary on the proverb in the opening Scripture. A gift (in his case, the ability to interpret dreams) took him from a prison cell to Pharaoh's palace in a single day.

He didn't get there through networking, nor through pedigree, but through a gift that made room where there had previously been none.

This matters for anyone waiting on a breakthrough in business or career or even ministry. You may not have the connections, the capital, or the resume others have. But you have a gift (which could be a competence, an insight, a skill sharpened over years, etc.). Amazingly, Scripture says that gift itself has the power to make room for you and bring you before people you couldn't otherwise access.

Now, before wrapping up for today, you should realise that the application is twofold: first, sharpen your gift, because it is your legitimate door-opener. Second, trust that God can position you before "the great," such as decision-makers, investors, and partners, through means you cannot engineer yourself. Stop struggling like the Gentiles without God!

TOPIC: Whatever Your Hand Finds To Do

"Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might, for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in the place to come." Ecclesiastes 9:10

*Message*

Solomon's counsel here in today's opening verse is refreshingly practical. He does not say "wait for the perfect opportunity" or "only work when it's glamorous." He says: whatever your hand finds (such as the task or opportunity in front of you right now), do it with your might.

Many people delay excellence until they feel their current assignment is worthy of their full effort. But Scripture ties diligence to whatever is currently in your hand, not to how impressive the task looks.

In other words, without sitting idly waiting for the perfect conditions or your dream job, give a shot at the opportunity right before you and apply the principle of diligence in full measure. The freelance gig, the small client, the modest side hustle, you must not despise them.

Aside from the fact that they are training grounds, they are often the very things that open bigger doors, particularly when you apply the principle of diligence upon them in full measure.

Our verse of today also carries urgency: "for there is no work... in the place to come." You see, time is not unlimited. Whatever business idea, opportunity, or corporate assignment is currently in your hand deserves your full strength today, not a diluted version postponed to a more convenient season that may never arrive.

TOPIC: The Blessing That Adds No Sorrow

*Message*

There is a kind of wealth that comes with a hidden invoice that revolves around sleepless nights, broken relationships, guilt, legal exposure, or a conscience that never rests. Solomon draws a sharp contrast: the blessing of the Lord is not that kind of wealth. It makes rich, and it adds no sorrow.

This is an important filter for anyone building a business or chasing an opportunity. Not every path to riches is a blessing, even if it produces money. If the process requires compromise, deceit, or exploitation, it may fatten the account while poisoning the soul.

It doesn't matter what others are doing out there (and the perverted streams that have been accepted as the norm), God's way is higher than ours, and His blessing is engineered differently. God's blessing will never cost you your peace.

Always remember today's opening verse for every deal, partnership, and opportunity on your table. Ask not only "will this make money?" but "will this add sorrow?" The blessing of the Lord answers no to the second question every time.

TOPIC: Being Nourished By God With Wealth

*Message*

Before Israel entered the Promised Land, Moses warned them of a subtle danger: prosperity has a way of making people forget the Source. Our opening verse corrects that danger in advance. It doesn't say God gives wealth directly and passively, but that He gives power to get wealth.

God is not merely a depositor; He is the One who equips you with strength, wisdom, ideas, favor, and opportunity to go and produce. This is still true even today.

This means your business acumen, your negotiating skill, your work ethic, your creative ideas, etc., are not accidents of personality. Rather, they are covenant tools. When you sit in a boardroom, pitch an investor, or launch a venture, you are exercising power that was given, not manufactured.

Before wrapping up for today, I want you to take note of the part that says "that he may confirm his covenant." Your prosperity is never meant to terminate in you. Rather, your prosperity exists to confirm God's faithfulness, not only to your family, but even to your community and generation.

It's the dawn of a new day and season for you! Today opens up the flow of abundance, but you must not restrict yourself into a box which God is not keeping you. From our opening Scripture, a question was attached: "Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy?"

It is possible to exert your energy on so many things in your quest for nourishment. But you see, not everything you consume actually feeds you. An individual can be busy, occupied, even successful, and still be spiritually malnourished.

Dear reader, you must decide that you won't labour for things that were never designed to satisfy the deepest hunger in you. Don't wear yourself out like those without God's wisdom!

The invitation is free: "without money and without price", and it is urgent: "come." If you've been following our past studies, you should now be well familiar with what true nourishment looks like. Then, never forget that you must not settle for what doesn't satisfy, but come eat what is good.

TOPIC: Nourished And Knit Together

Scripture:

*Message*

Our opening verse describes the church as a body. We all know bodies do not nourish themselves in isolation. A limb disconnected from the body may still be technically alive for a while, but it cannot grow, cannot heal, cannot function. Nourishment, in this picture, travels through connection.

This matters for anyone tempted to treat their walk with God as a solitary project. You were not designed to be spiritually self-sufficient. The joints and ligaments Paul describes are relationships, the people God has knit you to for accountability, encouragement, correction, and shared growth.

If you have withdrawn from community, from church, from mentorship, from spiritual friendship, this verse is a gentle warning. Isolation doesn't just feel lonely; it actually interrupts the flow of nourishment God intended to reach you through others.

Indeed, the devil always tries to make you cut yourself off from the body. But keep resisting him. Isolation is brutal, and nothing is potent enough to justify your decision to isolate from the body.

TOPIC: The Bread Of Life

Scripture:
"I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst... I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever." John 6:35, 51

*Message*

Every other food in Scripture points to this moment. The manna in the wilderness, Jeremiah's eaten words, the milk of the newborn believer, all of it was preparation for a greater revelation: Jesus does not merely give bread; He is the bread.

This is the difference between provision and Person. God can meet your need with a supply, but in Christ, He meets your need with Himself. That is why Jesus says whoever comes to Him "shall not hunger"; not because life gets easier, but because the source of true satisfaction is no longer circumstantial. It is relational.

The manna in the wilderness spoiled by morning. This bread does not. "If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever." Every other meal you have ever eaten has been temporary by design. This one is not. It's worth asking today: am I feeding on Christ Himself, or only on what He gives?

If you are yet to surrender your life to Jesus, here is a perfect opportunity to do so. Simply call upon His name wherever you are, open your heart to Him, and ask Him to show you mercy. He is right there with you.

TOPIC: Open Up To Fill Your Hunger

Scripture:
"Like newborn infants, long for the pure spiritual milk, that by it you may grow up into salvation." 1 Peter 2:2

*Message*

There's no newborn who is taught to cry for milk irrespective of where they are born. Hunger is instinctive, urgent, and undeniable. Indeed, the Creator in His infinite wisdom made it so, and it's a token of life and for growth.

The Man of God, Apostle Peter, as we could see from our opening Scripture, uses that image deliberately, making us realise that spiritual growth begins with an appetite as natural and as insistent as a baby's hunger. We must grow, but there must be an insistent appetite.

Now, the milk is not the destination but the mechanism. "That by it you may grow up." So, while we crave nourishment and all the goodness attached to it, we must know that it is never the finish line. Rather, nourishment is the fuel for growth.

If you see a believer who consumes the Word but never matures, such has misunderstood the purpose of the meal. It is not enough to seek nourishment without taking the posture of real growth.

Dear reader, there is also an important warning here for anyone who has grown indifferent to Scripture. A baby who has stopped crying for milk is not thriving but is in danger. If your hunger for God's Word has gone quiet, this verse is not condemnation but an invitation to recover the cry.

Lord, restore in me the hunger of a newborn. I long for the pure milk of Your Word, not because I must, but because I need it to live. Grow me up into the fullness of my salvation. In Jesus' name, Amen.

TOPIC: Words You Can Eat

*Message*

Jeremiah was not a comfortable prophet. His assignment was hard, his message unpopular, and his life lonely. Yet in the middle of that difficulty, he testifies to something remarkable: he ate God's words, and they became joy.

This is intimacy language, not information language. Jeremiah did not merely read Scripture the way one skims a manual. Rather, the man internalized it, took it in the way food is taken in, broken down, absorbed, and then converted into strength. That is the difference between knowing about the Word and being nourished by it.

Dear reader, if devotional life has started to feel like duty rather than delight, Jeremiah's testimony is an invitation to slow down. Don't just read a verse today, but eat it. Sit with it until it becomes joy and not just information.

Interact with it until it becomes the delight of your heart and not just a task completed. These are divine nutrient sources available only for children of God, independent of the blandness of our unpleasant societies.

TOPIC: Not By Bread Alone

Scripture:
"Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4

*Message*

Jesus said what we just read in our opening Scripture while in a wilderness, hungry, having fasted forty days. The tempter's offer was reasonable on the surface: simply turn stone to bread and meet a legitimate need through an illegitimate shortcut.

Fortunately, Jesus' answer reframes what nourishment actually is, and we must make this ours as children of God today.

Bread sustains the body for a season. It however cannot sustain the soul, the will, and the spirit-man who must make decisions. Being a physical component made of material ingredients, it doesn't have what it takes to resist temptation nor even walk in divine purpose.

You see, if bread alone could sustain a person, the wealthiest and best-fed among us would also be the most whole. But we know that isn't true. People starve for meaning while their stomachs are full.

Of course, to draw the right balance, the verse above is not anti-bread. However, it is pro-proportion. Jesus is teaching that there is a category of hunger that no natural food touches, and that category is fed only by what comes from the mouth of God: His spoken Word, His promises, His instruction.

Dear reader, if you have been feeding the body and starving the spirit, this is your reminder that both matter, but only one of them is eternal.

TOPIC: The God Who Opens His Hands

Scripture:
"The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand; you satisfy the desire of every living thing." Psalm 145:15-16

*Message*

It's incredible to know that before we ever learned to ask, God had already begun to answer. You discovered that in our opening verse, the Psalmist doesn't say God sometimes feeds His creation, but that the eyes of all look to Him, and He gives food in due season. Not early. Not late. In season.

To enjoy nourishments from the LORD, we should consider the posture highlighted above: "the eyes of all look to you." You see, every living thing has been designed to live in a state of dependent expectation, including the sparrow, the lion, the human wrestling with rent, etc. This is not weakness but a configuration that showcases God's awesomeness.

As a human, you were never meant to manufacture your own sustenance from nothing. On the other hand, you were meant to look up. Therefore, look up to Him!

Also, we were informed of God: "You open your hand." This means that God's provision is not reluctant. It is not squeezed out of Him through striving or shouting. Rather, His hand opens, denoting generosity and not negotiation. Dear reader, whatever season you are believing God for provision in (a job, a breakthrough, strength for the day, etc.) this verse insists that the opening of His hand is His nature, not a favor you must earn.

Father, I lift my eyes to You today, not to a system, not to a person, not to my own effort. You are the One who opens Your hand. I trust Your timing, that what I need will come in due season, not late, not early. Satisfy the desire of my soul as You satisfy every living thing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

TOPIC: Why Dominion Matters For The Great Commission (4)

*Message*

You earn influence through success in an aspect of life, or by becoming wealthy through honest means. For people to seek you out, you must be so valuable. For others to submit to your words and hear you out, you must have proven yourself and worth.

Our strategy is that when people willingly submit themselves to your tutelage and ideologies, you then point them to God.

When you attempt fulfilling the Great Commission via the influential route, you get to convince unbelievers without offending them. You are able to communicate the message of the kingdom to them in their context, and they easily understand what it entails. In this route, you are focused on impact and not imposing.

Influence helps you win friends, including high calibre folks who have a strong wall around them that can't be easily penetrated with the traditional evangelism techniques. Influence gets you into their circles, and you then partner with the Lord for the salvation of their souls as you keep dispensing kingdom principles in words and actions around them.

To win high-worth individuals to the kingdom of God, we need wisdom in no small measure. One of the reasons is that we must help them identify their lack (their riches and earthly achievements may be blinding their mind from seeing what they truly lack).

So, we are not just focusing on evangelising the poor and needy alone, but must also put strategies in place to influence the high and mighty with the culture of the kingdom and then welcome them too to the fold of God.

Father, I thank You for the privilege of being a kingdom influencer. I declare that I am equipped with wisdom and strategies to win souls, especially the high and mighty, to Your kingdom. I confess that I am a vessel of Your glory, shining bright in my sphere of influence. I pray for the courage to be a beacon of hope, pointing people to You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have established that influence in the hands of a kingdom-minded believer can always be utilized for kingdom expansion and the fulfilment of the Great Commission. In fact, according to a great teacher sent to the Body of Christ, influence is not just an effective tool to carry out the Great Commission, but "it is more important than power."

Now, you may want to start being inquisitive on how to become influential. The best way to go with this is that you should not be obsessed with becoming influential, but should rather focus on being successful in an area of life. Fortunately, as believers, we have the Holy Spirit for our advantage, He can guide you into your destined path and lavish you with all you need to excel.

So, success in an aspect of life brings influence to you. Additionally, being wealthy and gaining honest wealth makes you influential. The systems of this world have been programmed to respect the successful individual and the wealthy individual. Hence, kingdom-minded believers must not only be discipled to be just heaven-bound Christians alone, but should also be tutored to not embrace mediocrity.

Ask the Holy Spirit for strategies to excel in your field, and also ask Him for wisdom to gain wealth. The more wisdom you have, the more wealth you can accumulate without getting dirty.

Father, I thank You for the privilege of partnering with You in the Great Commission. I declare that I am equipped with the Holy Spirit's guidance to excel in my field and accumulate wealth. TOPIC: Why Dominion Matters For The Great Commission

The first aspect of the Great Commission is the salvation of souls of people. When we intercede for the souls of a particular person or group of individuals, when we sponsor evangelistic campaigns with our resources, and when we practically preach to unbelievers, we experience success in this aspect.

However, this is just one side of the victory. While the first dimension of the gospel addresses the heart of men, the second addresses systems and structures. It is God's will that every sector of human society bows to His Lordship and subscribe to operating on the foundation of kingdom principles.

When it comes to kingdom advancement, we acquire success via evangelism and then influence. When we evangelise to humans, the Holy Spirit works on their hearts, and they believe the gospel as they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

However, when it comes to enthroning the Christ above systems and structures, dominion is the divine system that makes this happen. So, believers should not only be armed with the message of the gospel alone but should also be empowered to exhibit dominion on the earth realm.

Since the world operates on mind control systems, we get to also fulfill the Great Commission when we take charge of the systems that shapes society, and make sure they are operated on kingdom principles like it is in heaven.

TOPIC: The Altar Of Intercession Is A Viable Platform For The Great Commission

Scripture:
"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you." Galatians 4:19

*Message*

The altar of intercession is a viable and competent platform to play an essential role in the fulfilment of the Great Commission. There must be a supernatural intervention from the realm of the spirit before an unbeliever can willingly choose to rebel against sin and Satan and self.

The unbeliever must first be settled in the spirit realm, where the veil casted on their mind must be removed. If not, our preaching and resources are a waste. "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. (II Corinthians 4:3-4)

"And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined. And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it." (Isaiah 25:6- 8 )

As we could see from the case of Paul, he maximised the power of intercession to snatch a lot of Galatian Gentiles from sin, and continued to travail for the establishment of his converts ("...Christ be formed in you." ) Meaning, preaching, and teaching are not enough to fulfil the Great Commission. The case must be settled first on the altar of intercession.

If your intercession is the seed that was planted in the spirit realm for the salvation of an unbeliever, the person who preached to the former sinner is not the only one who will get the reward in heaven - but you as the Intercessor also shares in the reward.

If we want Jesus Christ to come quickly, then more Intercessors must rise. One of the major reasons true kingdom expansion seems to be lagging is due to the weakness of the spiritual energy which divinity can utilise to introduce a supernatural intervention - and this is because there are just very few commited and faithful Intercessors. If the kingdom doesn't spread as it ought to, Jesus will keep postponing His coming, and the earth will continue to suffer.

Live your life with the rewards of eternity at heart.

*Message*
The Great Commission (that souls should be won and established in Christ) is at the centre of God's purpose for mankind (Matthew 28:19,20). Since it means a lot to Jesus, then it must mean a lot to us, too.

There are three major ways to participate in the business of soul winning and establishment:

1. Going out to preach the gospel (the message of the kingdom) and teaching the converts the way of the kingdom. Those called into the five fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers) should always inspire other believers to be active participants in this ministry by being worthy examples of the same.

2. Sponsoring kingdom projects and initiatives with your resources. These are the Sons and Daughters of Consolations, the kingdom financiers. Some will be wealthy merchants. Some are aptly described as Apostles in the marketplace who will flourish in the corporate world (the marketplace is a platform to introduce Christ, and these ones also finance the kingdom activities of the preaching missionaries)

However, irrespective of where your financial status, you must invest your resources in the Great Commission.

3. Winning people first in the realm on the spirit from the altar of intercession. This is for the Intercessors - the secret place dwellers who must generate the appropriate spiritual energies that can open territorial operations and make kingdom colonisation possible.


Faithfulness to where God has placed you will guarantee you great eternal rewards.

However, I'm encouraging you to be so eternity conscious that you will labour to sustain the capacity to function from any of the cadres as God gives you grace.

Even if you are thriving in the marketplace, make sure you still invest quality time in functioning as an Intercessor, so you will get to add more value to yourself in eternity.

Scripture reveals: "Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever." Daniel 12:3

The wisdom for winning souls is apparently beyond this realm: it is ancient. The framework of soul winning is definitely divine. Trying to dissect these with our limited human senses will only keep falling short again and again. We must stick to faith and do the works of the Lord.

After the end of this current age, in the ages to come, those faithful to soul winning becomes the stars of God. These ones will shine forever in glory, as their garments will shine splendidly forever. If you are conscious of your state and quality in eternity, you should give priority to soul winning.

Soul Winners are also going to be part of the armies of God in the age to come. They will stand with the Lord Jesus to war, which is the greatest honour ever. Have you imagined how honourable it is to walk close with the president of a country into a hall with ovations and cheers being given? Now, imagine how gloriously it is to war side-by-side with the King of Glory Himself.

When you invest your efforts and resources in the business of soul winning, you will also reap and inherit nations in the world to come. If you are eternity-conscious, you should give great priority to soul winning.

*Message*

Believing the gospel and receiving Jesus is the key to salvation. The Apostle Paul, in Romans 1:16, says, "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes..." And then, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9).

Whenever we are on an evangelical adventure out there, we must be mindful of what we preach, ensuring we preach only the gospel, which alone has what it takes to get men saved. There is an inherent power embedded in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ that ministers to the depth of the worst sinner and makes them crave repentance. You can't achieve that with mere motivational words.

Here is a pattern:

"Moreover, brethren, I declare to you the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received and in which you stand, [2] by which also you are saved, if you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain. [3] For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, [4] and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, [5] and that He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve."

So, when preaching the gospel, draw attention to the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord, and trust the Holy Spirit for utterance to meet the people at the point of their unique needs while ministering to them.

*Message*

Yesterday, we established the truth that soul winning is not a mere religious agenda to bring people to church, but it is a divine strategy to save lost souls from eternal damnation. This is important because anyone who died without Christ is damned forever.

This should propel us towards taking the venture of soul winning more important because there are still numerous people in the nations of the world we must help secure their souls in eternity.

It is ok to publicise your church and ministry and seek bringing more members into the fold. It's okay to invite sinners to your church, particularly if you are sure there are structures already in place that can help fast track their salvation experience when they start going to church. However, don't give priority to church attendance and membership at the expense of soul winning.

A sinner can be a committed member of a church for one reason or another, but is still in danger of eternal damnation if they die without Christ. So, what a sinner really needs is the gospel, the vehicle where Christ is revealed to them, and His Lordship is established in their heart.

As Christians, the revelation of the Christ and His enthronement is a mandate given us. You must coordinate all the resources given you in Christ to see the Lord revealed and enthroned. Use your gifts, talents, skills, relationships, resources, etc., to invest in the eternal business of soul winning, and you will reap great rewards when you arrive at the other side of eternity.

This time last year, I was wrapping up my NYSC journey in Lokoja, Kogi State.

For the first time in my life, I stepped out of the comfort of the South-West, where I was born and raised with loved ones, into the northern part of the country where I knew no one. But I knew God, and I carried God’s presence with me.

Right from orientation camp, the wisdom of God in Christ began to guide me on how to maximize my experience. One of the results was the favor I received from NYSC officials to stand before fellow corps members and preach God’s Word during one of the morning devotion sessions.

During my service year in Lokoja, it was common for corps members to hold tightly to their monthly stipends because of the realities of post-NYSC life — job hunting and all that comes with it. But I took steps of faith. I invested my resources in personal community development projects to better the lives of the people of Kogi State. By God’s grace, I was able to:

- Organize an Inter-Secondary School Debate Competition and launch a 4-month Digital Skills Empowerment Scheme for young people in Lokoja, Kogi State.
- Lead a sensitization campaign for traders at Old Market, Lokoja, which also included the donation of a brand-new metal recycling bin for plastics and cans. The focus was to raise awareness about environmental cleanliness and how our actions and inactions contribute to climate change.
- Assist residents of Cemetery Junction Community to renovate their dilapidated borehole, so they would no longer struggle to access clean water.
- Expose young people in Kogi to 21st-century skills and information. For several weeks, I consistently showed up to teach digital skills such as cybersecurity and networking.
- Organize the Talent To Prosperity Conference in Lokoja, where over 100 youths, mostly serving corps members, were equipped with practical knowledge on topics like Leveraging AI for Wealth Creation and Leveraging Established Institutions for Talent Utilization.

At the end of my service year, I was honored with both the Lokoja Local Government Award and the Kogi State Government Award, which qualified me for consideration for the prestigious Nigerian Presidential Award.

Finally, I want to encourage every believer out there to cultivate faith that drives you to embark on massive projects, even when you don’t yet have the resources, projects that will help people and bring glory to our Lord.

By God’s grace, I am a preacher engaged in ecclesiastical ministry. But I’ve also learned the Kingdom template modeled by our Lord Jesus and by apostolic fathers like Paul, whose ministry was not restricted to the four walls of a religious building. In addition to my ministerial responsibilities, I founded Talent To Prosperity Network — a purpose-driven enterprise focused on helping individuals, especially young people, discover, develop, and deploy their innate talents for personal growth, societal impact, and economic empowerment; as well as AI For Orphans — an NGO mobilizing Artificial Intelligence for the empowerment of orphans.

*Message*

Soul winning is a priority of the kingdom, as it is the Lord's priority. You observe that when He was about to leave the earth after His resurrection, He was concerned about His disciples occupying themselves with the work of soul winning, thus giving them the Great Commission.

As believers, we are ministers of reconciliation, reconciling men and women back to God. The first mandate given to every minister by the Lord, irrespective of their ministry office, is to establish the Lordship of Jesus Christ in the heart of humans. Regardless of your mode of operation, this is the foundational aim. And we achieve this through the gospel of salvation.

The Lord has blessed us with different gifts and abilities as believers across board, and we must synergise everything He has given us to ensure that souls will be saved. You won't be maximising all God has blessed you with if it is not playing a role in the salvation of the lost.

Soul winning is not for evangelists alone. We all are expected to do the work of an evangelist irrespective of where we have been planted. "But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry." - 2 Timothy 4:5

Soul winning is not a mere religious agenda to bring people to church. It is a divine strategy to save lost souls from eternal damnation. This is because anyone who died without Christ is damned forever. Hence, we are not saving souls just to increase Church attendance, but to help secure them in eternity.

*Message*

We have spent two days unpacking Achsah's request for springs of water, exploring her boldness in asking and the completeness of Caleb's answer, giving her both the upper and lower springs. Today, let's focus on something easy to overlook: the request came after the gift, not before it.

Caleb had already given Achsah land in the South. The springs were not the original grant; they were an addition, secured because Achsah refused to settle for the first gift as though it were the final word.

Dear reader, this is a principle worth carrying with you well beyond this devotional series: receiving a genuine blessing from God is not the same as receiving the fullness of what that blessing was meant to become. Achsah had land (which is a real, legitimate inheritance), and she could easily have stopped there, grateful and content. Many of us do stop there, treating the first answer to prayer as the ceiling rather than the floor. But Achsah understood that the land in the South, without water, was an unfinished gift, not a false one. Her boldness to ask for more was not ingratitude for what she already received; it was partnership with her father's evident generosity to complete what he had started.

Dear reader, what "land" has God already given you that still needs its springs? Don't file the first blessing away as finished business. Return to your Father, and ask Him to complete what He has already begun in your life; press for the upper springs and the lower springs, until every territory you've been given is fully alive and fruitful.

Father, thank You for every blessing You have already given me. Today, I return to ask for the completion of what You have started, the springs that will make my inheritance fully fruitful. I will not treat Your first gift as the final word. Complete Your good work in every territory of my life, in Jesus' name.

*Message*

Yesterday, we saw Achsah ask specifically for springs of water to make her southern land fruitful, and we saw Caleb answer with abundance: he gave not one spring but both the upper and the lower springs. Today, let's look more closely at the word Achsah used before she even mentioned water: she said, "Give me a blessing." Before she named the specific request, she framed the entire conversation in the language of blessing, not merely negotiation, entitlement, or complaint.

Dear reader, notice this carefully. Achsah did not approach Caleb saying, "You gave me dry land; that wasn't fair" or "You owe me more since Othniel fought for this." She said, "Give me a blessing." There is a difference between asking from a posture of blessing and asking from a posture of grievance, and the difference shapes both how we approach God and how freely He responds. Achsah's request was rooted in relationship and expectant favour, not resentment over what seemed lacking.

Notice too the specific pairing in Caleb's response: the upper springs and the lower springs. In the natural terrain of the Negev, this likely meant water sources positioned at different elevations (one flowing from above, one collecting below) together providing complete, sufficient irrigation for land that would otherwise remain barren.

Dear reader, there is a spiritual picture here worth sitting with: God's provision for your life is often designed to come from both directions: the "upper springs" of heavenly, spiritual sustenance (His Word, His Spirit, His presence) and the "lower springs" of practical, earthly provision (relationships, resources, open doors). One without the other leaves your territory incomplete. Ask for both.

Father, I ask You today, not from complaint but from a posture of blessing: give me both the upper springs of Your presence and the lower springs of practical provision. Let every territory You have given me become genuinely fruitful, watered from above and below, in Jesus' name.

TOPIC: Springs Of Water (1)

"On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, 'If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'" John 7:37-38 NKJV

*Message*

Caleb had already given Achsah land in the South, yet Achsah, having been asked, "What do you wish?", did not simply say "thank you" and ride away satisfied with dry ground. She specifically asked for springs of water. Land without water in the Negev, the arid southern region she had been given, was land that could not fully sustain life or produce fruit. Achsah understood something many of us miss: possessing territory is not the same as possessing what makes that territory livable and fruitful.

Dear reader, you can do a lot of exploits and still find yourself standing on dry, thirsty ground if you stop asking before you've received what actually sustains that territory. Achsah didn't just want land, but she wanted living water flowing through it. And she got abundantly more than she perhaps expected because she was bold enough to ask specifically.

Centuries later, standing at the Feast of Tabernacles, Jesus cried out with the same generosity Caleb once showed his daughter: "If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink." Notice He did not wait for people to approach quietly or hesitantly: He cried out, He called attention to Himself as the source, and He promised not just a trickle but "rivers of living water" flowing out of those who believe. Where Achsah asked for springs to make her southern land fruitful, Jesus offers rivers to make our entire lives fruitful and overflowing to others.

Dear reader, have you conquered ground in your life: a career advancement, a healed relationship, a new season, only to now realise the ground feels dry, unfruitful, thirsty for something more? Don't settle for the territory alone. Come boldly, as Achsah did, and ask specifically for the springs that will make your territory flourish. And come to Jesus, who cries out even now, inviting you to drink freely and become a source of living water to others around you.

Father, thank You for every territory You have already given me. Today, I ask specifically for the springs of water that will make that territory fruitful and sustaining. Jesus, I come to You and drink freely. Let rivers of living water flow out of my life to bless others, in Jesus' name.

*Message*

We have seen Achsah's boldness from her posture (dismounting before her father) to her Father's open question, "What do you wish?" Today, let's see the answer itself, as it is worth studying closely: "Give me a blessing; since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water."

Caleb did not give her merely one spring or a modest portion. Rather, the man gave his daughter both "the upper springs and the lower springs" (generously, exceeding the specific demand).

Dear reader, notice first how Achsah framed her request: "Give me a blessing." She did not simply say, "I need water," as a bare logistical complaint. Rather, the young lady named it what it truly was: a blessing, an act of grace, not an entitlement she was owed.

When you approach your Heavenly Father with your needs, frame them the same way. You are not demanding what is owed to you; you are receiving what only grace can supply, even when the need is real and legitimate.

Notice, too, how specific she was. She didn't say, "Bless me somehow." She said, precisely, "since you have given me land in the South, give me also springs of water", connecting her request directly to what she had already received and exactly what it lacked to be fruitful. Vague prayers often receive vague answers, but Achsah's specific, purposeful request received an equally specific, purposeful, and abundant answer.

Let's also discuss Caleb's generosity: he gave both the upper and lower springs. This is exactly how our Father responds when we come to Him with bold, specific, gratitude-framed requests. Ephesians 3:20 tells us He "is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think." Achsah asked for springs; she received upper and lower springs. She got the full measure and not a rationed portion.

What do you wish? Ask Him today.

Father, thank You for being a God who answers exceedingly abundantly above all I ask or think. I bring my specific request before You today, not as an entitlement, but as a blessing I receive by grace. Thank You for Your generous, complete answer, in Jesus' name.
